"Going back to what happened after I left my job side, I decided I must see them get things over with before heading home. Arriving at the location they gave me in town, my mouth almost dropped down seeing how beautiful their settlement was. Keeping that aside, I drove closer and rang the bell which took less than three seconds for a woman to open, and for the first time after nine years, I saw my "mom". She didn't look stressed but she had a pale face and worry was visible on her look"

"I doubt that was anything sentimental rather an act to pull you in" Katty mentioned which she won't completely disagree with.

"Finally let me in after some uncalled compliments, I met my dad as well. They all wanted me to start over by making me have dinner with them and treated me surprisingly nicely like I was unable to move which wasn't satisfying because nothing they did could ever make me forget what they made me go through. Their actions instead grew me madder and their presence became unbearably mind tormenting so I decided to leave but on several occasions where I tried to go, they brought up a topic that came about disagreements. And of course, I stood my ground against their word until my "mom" was about mentioning something before I heard this irritating voice of an ancient viper"

"Let me guess...Leonel appeared!!!??" Apriva

She just nodded and Katty slapped the bed with her fist while Ciara slipped her hair backward and Apriva cursed under her breath "That son of a b*tch!"

"You could say that again" Ciara added

"And...that wasn't all that tore my already shattered heart" Brithney proceeded

"He added upon all the noise my so-called parents were singing in my ears all along with that...my "parents" signed a contract with his dad some years back. Which mentioned, I will have to marry Leonel so he could take over his dad's property earlier before his dad dies of cancer. My parents received a huge amount of money from his dad without letting either I or Leonel aware till his dad passed away living just a will. He read his dad's will after so many years had passed. He discovered the will was the greatest downfall for my "parents". After all, I ended up not marrying him and he claimed he was depressed thinking of how he could get his dad's property before strangers owned them. Nevertheless, my parents were left with two choices. One of which they either went to prison and the other which was replenishing what was given to them by his dad within 6months. No way in hell could my parents reimburse what they didn't invest on. So, he thought of a brighter solution after learning I was in New York. He sent my parent over and accommodated them in the house they presently live in. Until I work all the money they owed his dad"

"I get why he ordered you to be transferred. Just so he could set an eye on you." Ciara said

"Yeah... that's exactly why. In other, for my "parents" to be free, I'll have to work for him until the amount is paid"

"Upon everything they did to you, they still have the mind to call you over for help in the disguise of trying to spend time with you!! I can't believe this!!" Katty yelled

"Something must be done as soon as possible. You can't be enslaved for your parent's mess. They should rot in jail!" Apriva suggested

"Remember we're talking about my parents and not some people out there. I still care for them because they are my blood. Me letting them suffer doesn't make me any different from them- "

"Yes, it does! You can't kill yourself for them, that's bullshit! You must love yourself first before anyone" Katty pilled

"I agree with her" Apriva added

All the while, Ciara was silent so Katty turned her gaze towards Ciara saying "What do you suggest?"

She stayed silent for a while before responding "It's not about what I suggest or what we guess is right. But what she feels. Instead of us fighting over something we can't handle, let's try to support her decisions just as we always do. And if she ends up realizing her choice wasn't the best, she will back down on her own. I presently cannot advise her to let her parents suffer. But I can't promote her to be enslaved by that bastard. One thing I'm certain of is that your parents realized their mistakes and want the best for you. They just don't know how to start confessing to the silly mistakes they did. And they are very much aware it won't be easy getting you back. However, they just stay still hoping someday their lovely daughter will forgive them."

"If they choose to call you just so they could spend time with you and not because they wanted to explain why they did what they did, it implies they love you and regret everything they had made you go through. They could have chosen to let you suffer what you didn't know but they didn't."

"Bringing to the conclusion that none of you deserve to go through what you are going through. Yet, the one and the only person that had to let this pass, worsen the case. He brought to life something his dad could have chosen to deal with. But his dad didn't because he certainly knew even if you were given to his son, he will never be man enough to handle his possessions. So if there should be any solution to this problem, it must fall around eradicating Leonel. I'm not talking of murder here. What I mean is, as long as that devil is has something against you, he won't stop enslaving you. So, we must do something to bring him down." Ciara finalized

"What exactly will that be?" Katty questioned

"That's what we need to find out. But first, I suggest we get vital information about him and everyone he works with" Ciara expatiated

"I think that's left for the cops to handle. And we're not using that method!" Brithney mentioned

"No one said we are" Ciara corrected and they sharply turned their gaze to her
