They have not been enemies yet, it will happen next year because of the competition for the lands they occupy.

I don't know why Rain considered the Vastrolav Empire to be his number 1 enemy because he easily defeated this empire.

Honorifics are a big deal for us. If I call him with his nickname, it seems like we're close, aren't we close?

"Yes! Of course." I just answered so I could leave. "Thank you again, and uhm you can let me get now."

He had been holding me for a while, he tightened even more when I was about to leave next to him. I forgot that he was still holding me.

“Oh.” He gave a weak answer and completely let go of me. I don't know if I missed it but I think I saw disappointment in his eyes.

Maybe I missed it, of course I immediately approached Rain after he let me go. I never looked back or glimpsed back at him.

“Rain!” I happily call Rain.

The head pastor, the official and Rain looked at me. Besides, he looked at me very sweetly, this... this is the Rain I know! maybe he's in a bad mood.

"I-h-because you didn't wait for me." I answered him. He just touched my cheek.

"Who were you with?" I asked again and he stopped at that question. He took back his hand holding my cheek.

"One of the official's lady, why? Are you doubting me? You know that I love you very much, right?" he answered with a sigh.

"I was with him because we discussed something regarding what will happen tonight. I already told you that there were casualties so we rushed here."

I was about to speak but he spoke again. "We need to start, the guests have been waiting for a while."

He immediately pulled me towards the center. I'm just an idiot from the answer I heard earlier.

Calm down Lumine, he already answered that something happened here and that lady was involved. So don't worry.

You heard Rain's explanation, wait... I just realized. Did he call me Lumine earlier? Lumine?

I nodded as a response, I didn't make a mistake in my first life. Why did I make a mistake today? My mind never wandered off in my first life.

What happened now? I almost ruined Rain's perfect coronation. I should have calmed myself down, why am I doubting him?

Ever since I doubted him, my mind always wandered and I always overthink. This isn't like me.
