Her eyes almost dropped in surprise as she asked excitedly, "Are you really going to divorce Evan?"

"Yeah, as you wish, happy?"

The housewife couldn't hide the joy on her face.

"It's okay to let me get a divorce, but I have one condition."

"What conditions?" Her face instantly turned ugly, "You don't want property, do you? I tell you, no way."

I said, "Hawthorne Holdings is to continue to work with Reese Enterprises for the next ten years, no backsies."

"It's, it's out of my hands, but I can call Evan."

She was as excited as anything and immediately dialed the phone, "O Evan, your daughter-in-law is divorcing you, and the divorce is contingent on Hawthorne Holdings and Reese Enterprises continuing to work together for the next ten years."

Silence on the other side of the phone.

"Son, this is a great opportunity to get rid of this woman, so hurry back and sign."

"I must hurry and tell Lian Rivers about this good thing; she will be as glad as you are to hear it."

The other person didn't say a word and hung up.

The housewife was still basking in her joy, "You go ahead and make an appointment with Evan when he gets back and you guys hurry up and get the divorce papers."

Leaving The Hawthorne Family, I found a five-star hotel to stay in.
