Brett sighed at his mom's words, she was so desperate to get him married and he was not yet prepared for married not even dating. He was waiting for the right person to come his way and they will fall in love, and the right person for him have not arrived just yet. "Mom it's not what you think, I mean she is neither my girlfriend nor do I know her. I just saw her in the Diner and decided to kiss her to get rid of Miss Morgen." Brett muttered taking his seat to start eating.
"You said what? You kissed a random girl just to destroy your date, how could you do such a thing? Is this what I taught you, to disrespect women by kissing them randomly?" Adeline scolded Brett disbelief and anger both evident on her face. "No mom, you did not. I compensated her for it too, I gave her my expensive watch." Brett mumbled bringing the fork to his lips to eat, he wasn't feeling remorseful over what he did. To him, the girl should be grateful because a famous young master like him kissing her.
"Oh, brother don't you know mom does not like it when we disrespect people lower in status than us and treat them like trash? She considers it wrong." Vina his little sister echoed as she walked into the dining room. Vina smiled brightly as she walked to her mom's side, she just got back from her mission and decided to come home. She is a Lieutenant in the military, she just got back after the two months mission. "Hello mom, I missed you." Vina muttered kissing her mom's cheeks, "how are you, my dear,?" Adeline asked her daughter. "I'm doing better than ever," Vina mumbled with a grin.
"Hey little sis, you are back. When did you get back and why are you here and not at the base, I thought you were not allowed on vacations." Brett asked staring at his little sister, she was also a replica of his mom but had blonde hair just like their dad. "Yes am here, the Major general unexpectedly gave us a vacation of two months. So I have all the time in the world to bother you." Vina replied with a smirk. "You didn't inform me about your vacation," Brett said cocking his brows at her.
If he knew she was coming today then he would have traveled out of the country already and gone stay with his grandparents, Vina was a bother in the ass to him...she never let him a second or minute of peace whenever she is around. "Mom is aware.." Vina pointed out "and I refused to inform you so you won't escape to grandpa and grandma for coverage." She added with a smirk, there was no way to escape anymore. She couldn't go to her grandparents because a certain someone always pesters her life, coupled with her grandparents reminding her of marriage.
"Whatever, I don't talk to kids." Brett murmured out of his mouth, "I'm not a kid, stop it, brother." Vina mumbled pouting her lips. "You are 20 and am 30 so technically you are still a child compared to me." Brett pointed out to rile her up and this was the only way to anger her. "Am not.""You are." "Am not" "you are.". "That's enough you two, eat your dinners quietly or get lost from the table," Adeline shouted in a tone that left no room for argument and they immediately complied.
Having a peaceful dinner and a pleasant night altogether.
***** Mila's apartment *****
"Get off me, you stink." Mila echoed as she pushed Charlotte onto the sofa before turning back to lock the door, she shut the door before walking back to the living room. "I don't stink, alcohol is just so good. I feel better now, I feel.....el so satisfied. Thank you, baby.." Charlotte muttered sluggishly with her words. She turned and twisted rolling off the couch, she sank her face into the fluffy rug on the ground.
"Yeah, alcohol is good for you and not me. I can take advantage of you now if I were a bad guy, admiring your curves and boobs." Mila remarked sitting on the couch not bothering to pick up the fallen Charlotte, she sank her fingers into her hair to relieve herself of the headache and dizziness she was feeling. "I c..a..n still fi..get him of..f because I am an officer in the military," Charlotte replied raising her head from the rug and putting it back down.
Mila's lips tilted into a curve revealing a slight smile on her lips, her unapproachable demeanor, cold aura and slight heaviness around her evaporated into tiny air. "Show me what skills will you show off, seeing as we can't harm citizens of the Republic of Italy." Mila mocked Charlotte, she slide down the chair and sat on the floor folding her legs. She was ready to watch Charlotte's display. "Let me show you. Do you want to watch Lieutenant kitten cat in action?." Charlotte asked as she sat up ready to demonstrate.
"Yes, I want to see Lieutenant kitten cat in action just make sure not to vomit on my babies. Else you get a beating from me." Mila replied and warned in a pouty tone. She brought out her cell phone and placed it on the couch to record whatever Charlotte was going to display, like always she was going to do something foolish. "Ok, just sit back and enjoy the show." Lieutenant kitten cat whispered, she used the couch to support herself in standing up.
After several failed efforts of trying to stand up, Charlotte groaned and burst out in tears "I want my mummy, I don't like Mila and her couch anymore. They are making my life a living hell, I just want to stand up." tears continued drizzling down her face as she cried...
"That's enough Charlotte, stop crying already. Fine I will get you your mummy." Mila muttered to console the crying girl, which immediately made Charlotte stop crying and burst into giggles "I don't want mummy anymore, I want...."
