Mila slowly paddled her way towards the door, it was supposed to be invincible she wondered who was giving her troubles now. She stood before the door and it scanned her eyes and her face, she put her left hand on the door and it pushed back immediately. One may think by just scanning or putting your fingers it would unlock but the truth was she whispered the password to the door, making it open.
"Welcome mistress, a message just came in from A the top hacker in Italy. He wants you to participate in a mission alongside him." Daisy which was the name of her AI whispered, the moment she walked into the room. "Come on Daisy, just stop calling him the top hacker in Italy, am pals with him too." Mila groaned out pouting her luscious red lips. "Oh sorry, Mila." The AI said with a chuckling tone.
"Whatever, accept his invite but schedule the mission with him for tomorrow night." She muttered and the AI immediately replied "invite schedule sent." "Also are there any other messages for me?" She asked Daisy and she replied no. "That's good then prepare casual clothes for me on my bed right now, I want a hot bath and comfortable shoes to wear out," Mila mumbled before walking out of the secret room, which immediately disappeared like there wasn't a door there in the first place.
She took a bath after which she came out tying a towel around her chest which got to her legs, she dried her pearly white skin before rubbing on her body lotions. She put on the casual jean trouser prepared by Daisy in the shade of black and a white hoody which went perfectly well together, she dried her black short hair before combing it properly. "Yes, this is perfect." She whispered to herself before putting her credit and debit cards in her pocket.
She walked out of her room to the living room without applying any form of makeup on her face. "What took you so long Mila" Charlotte asked the moment Mila entered the living room. "Come on Charlotte I didn't take a minute more than 10 minutes," Mila responded chiding her friend. "Whatever, come on let's go get alcohol. Bills on you Mila I didn't bring my cards, also I will drive." Charlotte said happily before rushing out of the house.
They both walked into the elevator together pressing the underground button, after a while when they finally got down to the parking lot Charlotte rushed into the car as a happy child would. Mila quickly walked to the other side and entered "drive carefully Charlotte, I don't want to end up in the hospital." Making Charlotte giggle mischievously. She immediately put on the car and zoomed out of the apartment without giving Mila a chance to buckle her seat belt.
"Charlotte is going to beat you up when I get down from this car, how dare you," Mila screamed, she wasn't scared of the speed but the fact she wasn't putting on her seat belt was disturbing to her. "Go on baby, you can beat me all you want. I have no objections but beat me up tomorrow after I have enjoyed my alcohol." Charlotte responded with a grin on her lips, she was confident Mila wouldn't do anything to her.
"I hate you Charlotte." Mila screamed, "I hate you too baby." Charlotte echoed in giggles.
***** Stars Hospital *****
Brett sighed as he stepped out of the operation theatre, he stretched his neck sideways to relieve it and swung his hands too. He had been in the theatre since the morning trying to save a cardiovascular diseased patient, thanked he was able to save the old woman else he would be sad or downcast. He didn't pass through the front exit to escape questions from her family.
He pulled himself into the elevator pressing on the top floor, he rarely did surgeries that was the reason he was feeling tired. He was the CEO of stars hospital and a senior doctor too, none of the other doctors were available making him the one to do the surgery. He climbed out of the elevator and paddled his way gently into his office, he picked up the glass of water on the table and drank from it.
His office was painted in a dark blue color mixed with ashes hues, they were various pictures of hearts and blood vessels in his office ranging from diseases to their cure and a healthy heart. His table was a slick type like porcelain dolls, a lot of books were piled up on his table and the shelves surrounding his office.
He went around and took a seat behind his desk, just then his phone rang on his desk showing mom on it. He stretched his hand and picked up the call with a smile on his face, "hey mom, how are you?" He asked with a brightened expression. "I'm doing great, son." Brett's mom replied from the other end of the phone. "What are you up to?" She asked.
"Just finished surgery mom, I think I will go home to rest now. It passed 6 already." He said taking off his coat and handing it on the coat stand. He picked up his suit jacket and wore it, "that's perfect then. This means you are free to attend the date I planned for you." Brett's mom said happily. "Mom! What date is that I told you already, I don't want to." He complained walking out of his office with his suitcase in his hand.
"You have no choice, you have to go. You are 30 for crying out loud, no arguments meet up with her in Disney Diner by 7 pm." Brett's mom said before ending the call on him. "Ah! I don't want to, why does she always come up with ways to make my life hell." He complained, he was not angry about it he just felt dates were not for him.
