CHAPTER 3: WICKED INTENTION [SPG]

Ayla's POV

No matter how hard I try, I still couldn't believe how his words changed the direction my peaceful life.

Why did he pick me?

Why me out of all people?

My heart was beating rapidly that I wasn't able to control the pressure from it. Eventually, I decided to close my eyes and inhale a deep breath.

"Ayla, stay away from him!"

It was a rare occasion for my wolf to tell me that I should avoid someone, but maybe I am truly in danger given that I'm sharing the same space with the pack's Alpha and I shamelessly tried to beg for my freedom a while ago.

"Please, Alpha. I’m begging you. My family committed treason during the Creeze Bloody War, that reason was enough to tell your greatness that I am not worthy of playing a prominent role in your pack."

My heart started thumping from the possibility that he'll just kill me and feed me to his beasts.

They say 'two alphas could never share the same bed,' and that was indeed applicable to me and Alpha Liam.

At that moment, I tried to step back, moving away from him.

I know I should listen to my wolf because it's better to have the idea of a fated mate off of my mind than to face an unknown threat because of him.

He glared at me menacingly.

"You're not leaving!"

Alpha's cold and domineering approach made my soul tremble.

How I could ever marry a man like him?

Anyone could even tell that he hadn't experienced the mate pull from the ceremony just by the way he's staring at me now.

Last night was probably only for a show.

But why?

I mustered all the courage to question him, feeling so upset about what was happening.

"Why did you lie to everyone about me being your mate?"

My heart was beating so quickly that it may explode at any moment despite my best efforts to remain calm.

"You can't change anything, my decision is final and irrevocable."

I lower my head, hoping he'll listen to me if I submit myself. "P-Please. Let me live a normal life, Alpha Liam. I told you that I am contented with my happy and peaceful life as a servant."

He fixed his eyes on me, and I had to turn my gaze away from him because it was so terrifying and overpowering.

Later, I sensed Alpha Liam getting closer and closer to me, and eventually, I felt his warm, heavy, and deep breath near my ears.

I had to bite my lower lip secretly in order to maintain my composure.

"From now on, your life will change. You are going to be my mate for the rest of your life."

My mouth dropped.

"I don't want to, Alpha."

I know it's disrespectful to reject his strong desire to claim me as his Luna but he should also consider that I am doing this for his own good.

Instead of listening to my plea, he shook his head. "This is your destiny, my Luna. You can't escape from it."

The realization hits me hard.

How can I decline a path that was given by the moon goddess? Is there anything I can do?

"Aren't you listening to my concern?"

"I am…" he said in a rich voice.

I clenched my fists, try to keep my emotions at bay. "Are you not afraid of the consequences, Alpha Liam? Everyone will hate you, just like what they did to me. I'm afraid your name will be tainted too."

His expressions became gentler. "Trust me, that will not happen."

"Your mate's family wiped out more than half of the country's werewolf population. Are you fine with that?"

"I didn't pick you for nothing, my Luna."

I could definitely feel my heart began to race as Alpha Liam gazed upon me. His eyes were truly stunning, and his presence is making it difficult for me to move my body out of where I am right now.

Almost immediately after getting picked out as the Luna, we had to go through the tradition of preparing for the wedding.

All these happened in the span of few weeks. Who would’ve thought?

I was just minding my own business, serving Beta Damian’s family but now, here I am, caught in a whirlwind of emotions with the Alpha.

After several appointments, he drove me somewhere. I guess it will be the honeymoon place chosen by him.

"Are you ready to face your new world with me, my Luna?'

"Y-Yes, Alpha…" My stomach churned as I realized that I've been lying to myself since we arrived at our destination.

He led me to a room. It was spacious, with a king-size bed in the middle of it.

"Such a lovely location for a honeymoon, Alpha."

"Do you love it?" he asked.

I stared at him with a smile. "Y-Yes. The flowers in the garden were stunning, I couldn't take my eyes off them. I guess, everything in this villa looks breathtakingly beautiful, Alpha."

"You are more beautiful than they are, my Luna." His deep voice was enough to rattle my bones.

"Please stop making me blush, Alpha."

I gasped, but all I saw from his face was a playful grin.

"What’s the matter? Do my words make your heart flutter?"

I choose not to answer and anxiously scanned my surroundings because I was afraid of the enormous murals and wolf-like figures.

He saw my restlessness. But instead of getting comforted, I was greeted otherwise.

He gritted his teeth and growled, "You're mine and mine alone, understand?" he said, as he progressively closed his eyes.

I stared at him in shock at how quickly he plunged into things. My heart sank as I saw him playfully grinned at me for the second time and pretended to be patiently waiting for my response.

Do I really have to respond to him?

I mumbled, "Y-yes, I am your Luna."

"I’m not talking about that…"

It was too hard to find the correct words to say as Alpha Liam was exhaling heavily in front of me.

I'm not sure if this is really happening, but I noticed him looking down at my body.

"I am your Alpha..."

"Your mate..."

"Your life belongs to me now..."

"Do you understand?"

Then all of a sudden, he briefly placed both of his hands on my waist before slipping a hand down my top and onto my skin.

"A-Alpha Liam, shouldn't we wait until the wedding day?" My voice quivered from the fear.

He shook his head and cupped my face. I was trying to persuade him not to do this things, but it left me speechless as I felt his thumbs lightly stroking my cheeks with his intense gaze on me.

"Wed or not, I want you to surrender everything to me,” he spoke in a soft voice.

The moment I heard him say those words, I nearly passed out.

"E-Everything?"

He nodded. "Yes, my Luna…I want us to have a deeper connection."

Does that mean that he passionately desired me to be his Luna so that he could explore my body and satisfy his irrational desire?

As I watched him move in closer and closer to me, a frightened gasp came out of my mouth.

"It would be special to do it after the wedding. Don't you agree, Alpha?"

I received no response from him. As if he didn't care about my desire to stop him and he's not listening to me anymore.

In a short while, he tore off the shirt that had been covering my upper body. I was partially naked. I tried to cover my chest with my arm but he stopped me.

I still have my brassiere on but that also got torn and pulled off me.

"You are the most beautiful outcast I have ever seen."

I was becoming more and more nervous and my breathing became erratic.

Are we really going to do this?

As in right now?

I saw how Alpha Liam smiled, like he's admiring the view in front of him.

"They're begging to be touched and sucked, Ayla.”

His voice was making it hard for me to concentrate. He was seducing me to give in but I was resisting.

"I want you to be honest with me. Are you pure?"

I draw a deep breath. "Y-Yes, I am…I've never been in a romantic relationship. My life was solely centered on survival."

He sighed. "But you admire someone. Is it Beta Damian? Your one and only savior?"

"Let’s not talk about that, Alpha."

I chose to evade his question but his cold and domineering glare was enough to squeeze out my words.

"Since the day I stepped out from the Beta's house. My emotions simply melted away, Alpha. Because as your Luna and your destined partner…I should devote myself to you alone."

Unconsciously, I reached for the fur blanket in an attempt to cover my body and hide from his seductive gaze.

"But that’s not the only case here, my Luna. Did you not hear what the elder said at the session? A Luna should please, pleasure and prop up her Alpha."

As though playing with a flower, Alpha Liam slowly moved his right hand, making circles around my peak, squeezing and molding the pink tips.

And when he lowered his head to suck the right one, I flung my head back and closed my eyes.

Not only was it difficult to resist, but I also believed I was going to pass away from the overwhelming pleasure he gave me.

"A-Alpha..." I was becoming incoherent.

His tongue played and explored my upper body, leaving me breathless and shivers all over me. And as he got closer below my belly button, the strange feeling I got became stronger.

"A-Alpha..."

"It's even more pleasurable thanks to your moans, my Luna."

He blew soft kisses around my navel then below.

He looked at me and smiled like a cunning man he is. Alpha Liam continued to tease me by kissing me, which I honestly don’t know how to respond to.

"Alpha…"

I couldn't help but call for him as my blood started to boil from the sudden rush of heat.

"Alpha…P-Please, stay away from me!"

My eyes started to shift color as though my wolf was defending me from him.

He suddenly screamed, "Fuck! Those eyes..."
