I can feel Dara's malicious glance behind me. I know how badly she wanted to come to me but she need to stop herself because Levi is still in our office. Somehow, he was still ashamed even though he almost did the job of pimping me with Levi.

"I'm shaking, Mare!" her messenger head chat popped out from my phone.

“Don’t start me, Dara. I have so much more to do, ”I replied and I heard her giggle from the back. I just ignored him and just continued working while eating.

“Ugh! Finally, ”I blurted after sending the last file we needed for the clarification of our submission.

I stretched out. "Let's go home," I said, turning to Dara. The two of us were the only ones left because the rest of us said goodbye first, because it was almost one o'clock in the morning.

“Finally,” Dara muttered, gathering her belongings.

I didn't comment and just turned my computer on again. I started logging out of my email and closing all the tabs I used, after that, I shut down my computer.

Dara was now turning the printer and the lights. I stood and helped her.

"Who will take us?" I asked her while I'm unplugging my computer.

She shrugged. "Wait, I'll chat with Ma'am Jessie."

I nodded and let her. I said that despite that we're done, so they're definitely fixing that as well.

"There are already, we're just waiting for the two of us," Dara said after a while. It was still focused on his cellphone.

"Come on," I replied after turning off the lights.

We went out and to my horror, there's no car available aside from that black Raptor. I turned to Dara, scandalized but this woman was just smirking at me.

“It seems that we are the only ones who will be delivered. They were embarrassed to call the driver, ”she explained immediately. He noticed my hesitation and instead of understanding, he grinned even more, teasingly.

“Oh, why? Are you two afraid to be alone? ” he added.

I scolded him immediately. “Why should I be afraid? I'm just embarrassed because I'm so out of the way when he goes home, ”I replied.

"Really?" she teased some more.

"Yes!" I replied annoyed. It was half-meant though.

I'm really scared, firstly because I don't know him very well and secondly, I'm not comfortable with him. To be alone with him in the small space. I know that the words that Dara is trying to plant in my brain will only eat me.

"Come on, Sheena!" Dara said, pulling me with her. He even opened the door of the passenger seat. "There you are, I'm just in the back," he said and then opened the door for the backseat.

I could do nothing but follow, shaking my head and closing the door.

I sat there uncomfortably. I was even stunned when it started and stopped at the gate to be checked by the guard.

“Seatbelt please,” Levi said.

I realized and easily pulled the seatbelt from the side. "Sorry."

"You can take a nap if you're really sleepy," he said.

I immediately recovered. “It's not okay. I can still do it, ”I replied.

"Me, I can't do it anymore so please, bring me," Dara butted in, and in the tone of his words, you knew there was teasing in what he was saying.

I was just shaken again. Why did I even become friends with this one?

"All right," Levi answered as he stepped on the gas and drove to Dara's address.

Dara's home isn't that far from the office and with the help of a traffic-less road, we were able to drop her home within twenty-minutes. Levi stopped in front of her apartment's gate.

"Thank you, thank you." She said, pulling off the car. “Bye, Sheen! Fafa Levi! ” it says more. I didn't say a word and just stared at it, he laughed before closing the door.

“Iglip ka muna,” Levi said, breaking the silence as we drove our way to the now quiet road of Quezon Avenue.

“It’s okay. There is no traffic, we can get to us quickly, ”I replied.

"Your eyes are falling already," he said.

I was surprised by what he said. Shocked because he still noticed that.

"Let's slang me," I insisted, not even glancing at him.

It didn't say anything and just continued to d-drive. And since it was early in the morning and there were only a few vehicles to keep up with me, we quickly reached my apartment.

"It's just over there," I said. He nodded and parked his car; right opposite the gate of the apartment.

"Thank you for the delivery," I said and then opened the door of his car so that he could suddenly speak.

“Engineer,” he called out.

I turned to look at him but didn't say anything. I was just waiting for him to say what he wanted to tell me.

“I have something to say,” he began; showing a ghost of smile in his face. He looks shy though determined.

"What's that?" I asked, getting tense the way he looked at me.

"I just wanted to say I like you," he said without even blinking. “I know it's very random and you may not believe it — or you may not really believe it — but I still want you to know that I really like you. That if you give me a chance, I would want to woo you, ”he added, his face full of hope.

But I could not give him what he asked for; I can't believe what he says. So, I let out a sigh and then looked straight into his eyes.

“I’m not interested,” I said in the coolest tone I could.

His lips parted and his breath caught; shocked by my answer.

I sighed again and said, “I’m not interested in being in any kind of relationship but friendship with anyone. I have goals and that's where my head is head. Just turn your interest to others because you will not be blessed if you want me. ”

I went out of his car after that, not turning back to him again.

I wasn’t even interested before, especially in him.
