Why do some people won't get the fact that you want them out of your life? That they have to be someone you despise for forcing themselves to you.
That's pathetic.
I swiped my ID on the biometrics and walked to where he was standing.
I have enough of him and I want him to understand that I won't allow him to be in my life again.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, I was looking at him sharply.
"Sheen," he called out instead.
"I'm asking you, what are you doing here Anton? Don't you understand that I don't want you anymore and you can't come near me anymore?" I asked.
I saw how pain crossed my eyes but I'm so over caring for his feelings.
"Baby ..."
I rolled my eyes. "Oh, please, Anton. You're ashamed of yourself," I said. "We're done and I don't want to see you again, so can you leave me alone?"
He shook his head. "No. I can't. I can't afford not to have you," he said.
And I can't help but cringe on that.
Like, what the hell?
The audacity, my god.
"Do you hear what you're saying?" I asked. "Anton, you cheated on me. Why do you still think that I will take you back after that? Do you really think I was that stupid?"
He shook his head again. "No. I'm sorry. I know I'm wrong, but promise, that's the last. I won't do it again," he said.
"You knew it was wrong but you still did it. You did it over and over again," I said. "Anton, you cheated on me five times, remember? I'm not too stupid to accept you yet," I added.
Tears formed in his eyes and he tried to hold me but I immediately backed away.
"I don't want to see you ever again so, please, have some self-respect and stay away from me," I said again before turning my back and walking away.
He even tried to chase me but a black Raptor pulled over to my side. Its window rolled down, showing Levi in the driver's seat.
"Hop in," he said.
My brow furrowed in confusion but Dara's head peeked from behind him, she was in the backseat.
"Hurry up, Sheen. Anton is behind you," she said, her voice was so low that I almost didn't hear what she said.
Panicking, I immediately went to open the backseat's door but it won't open.
"Tomorrow," I said.
"Girl, you're here in the front," Dara said again.
"Huh? Why is that? Isn't that right next to you?" I asked, but then, I heard Anton calling for my name. So, without thinking, I jogged to the other side of his car and opened the door of the passenger seat.
"Where are you?" Levi then asked, rolling up his window.
I glanced at Anton and I saw how he was confused and pained at the same time.
Whatever.
"In the South. I'm Scout Borromeo, then Sheena in Fairview," Dara answered.
"Alright," Levi answered.
My eyes widened and I shook my head. "Just take Dara. I'll just be there at the MRT," I said.
Fairview is so far from Kamuning and the traffic in the commonwealth, hello.
"It's okay. I'll drop you off at your address," Levi replied.
I shook my head. "Not anymore. Please take me to the MRT, there's a bus there," I insisted.
But he continued driving until we reached South. He dropped off Dara first.
"Thanks for bringing, Levi!" Dara said before getting out of the car.
He just nodded and started driving again.
He took the Quezon Avenue route and I asked him again to drop me off in the side where the busses stop but still, he didn't listen.
He continued driving until we reached the Quezon City Memorial Circle, there was traffic. It took minutes until we passed through that, then was trafficked a few more times in the commonwealth.
"Is this really how you traffic here all the time?" he asked when we were trafficked again when Litex arrived.
"Yes," I replied and then directed the vehicles to Rizal.
He nodded.
"Thanks for the ride, I said when we finally reached my address." Be careful going home, "I said before closing the door of his car.
He left after that.
That night, I received a lot of messages from Anton, he was asking who Levi is and what our relationship is. I didn't answer any of those and just blocked him.
I don't want to hear any bullshit from him anymore.
The next day was like the usual day. I busied myself on the project I was holding while Dara pestered me about Levi.
I really want to fuck him because I'm really irritated by her teasing.
"You know, stop that. I'm going to bite you here at the printer," I asked her.
We were at the printing office, printing the other documents needed for the new project she will be holding.
"Eh, because it's a girl. He seems to be interested in you," she replied.
"It's just your imagination," I said.
Dara pouted. "It doesn't seem like it. He looks at you differently," he said.
I rolled my eyes. "You just think differently. You're giving meaning to what you shouldn't," I said.
He would have answered when Levi and Andra, the beautiful one in the purchasing department, suddenly passed by us.
"Look, he has a girlfriend," I said.
"Girlfriend?" she said, laughing. "They are just friends," she added.
I arched my brow. "How sure are you? Are you even close to him?" I asked. "Besides, whose friend holds her friend like that?" I added.
Andra was holding Levi's arm, a hold a girlfriend does to her boyfriend.
"We're not sure about that."
"You're also not sure if it's not his girlfriend," I replied.
"That's not it, swear. Trust me," he said.
But I just raised my eyebrow at him again when the afternoon came and we saw Levi with another person. This time, it's Clarissa from the HR department.
"It looks like Andra isn't his girlfriend. But I'm sure he's a playboy," I commented while shrugging.
