Chapter 2

Amber's Pov

I crossed the road to my school. I am currently in my 2nd year of college at the school I'm attending. I am a scholar so it costs very little and my part-time at the bar is somehow helping me financially.

"Amber!"

I turned when someone call my name and saw Areal. She has been my friend here since I got into college.

"Ahhh— what happened to you?" I winced as she stared at the middle part of my body.

When Dad fucked me earlier, I couldn't move my legs much. I tried to close my leg but it wouldn't budge, "Uhm, are you okay? You look lame."

I thought of a good excuse for Areal's words, "Ah ... yes! I fell down our stairs."

She just nodded at me and clinged her hand on my arm. The two of us walked to our class. Areal's status is different.

They are rich. We are poor.

I really don't know why we became friends, we have different states in life. Every time I go to their house, I am still welcome there.

"It looks like you have sex with someone ha? Hahahaha. You look sore."

My eyes widened because of what Areal said, "Y-you're wrong—"

"Just kidding ..."

When we got to our room the two of us sat down. We sit side by side because not everyone follows the alphabetical seating arrangement.

Hey, Kley!

Omggg! What are they doing here?

Omy Hades!

I looked out the window because almost all of my female classmates were looking out. Kley and I both looking onto each other's eye. Kley Strorch.

"Amber! Gosh! Kley and I are looking at each other!"

I was brought back to reality when Areal struck my arm. Ohh— she was the one he was staring at. I still thought I was.

But that's really me.

I like Kley. Yes, I admire him that much. He only showed up here at school once and I don't know why. He seems irregular but I don't know.

I looked outside again and he had already passed our section. I sighed. I can’t tell Areal that I like Kley because she likes him too. I'll just let it go.

"He's really cute, right?"

I just nodded to Areal and I ignored her when our class started.

"I can't believe it really, Amber! We're staring! Yay!"

Honestly, I've been annoyed with Areal's voice for a while now because she has nothing else to say but the way she and Kley stared earlier ... Even though I'm the one he's staring at.

We sat in our usual spot in the canteen. She always ordered food for the two of us so I just let her and I always stayed to our place.

Our seat was on the far side where I could see the passing cars because it was a glass wall. This school is private so that's it.

Kley, what are we doing here?

Shhh ... Leewier is here.

Huh? Where?

Look.

I turned to the little voice I could hear behind me. My eyes widened when I saw it was Kley and Hades.

Hades turned to me and waved before looking back at Kley. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. Very perfect.

"Hey!"

"H-huh?"

"Why are you not answering?"

I turned my back and saw that they were no longer there. I just shrugged my shoulders. Maybe they already left.

"Look Amber, what do you think I'll do to get closer to Kley?"

I stopped drinking because she asked, "Go and talk."

"Eh how is that?"

I was caught up in my senses. She was very naughty, "Talk to him and then make friends. It's just like that. Don't be overwhelmed by nervousness."

Her face lit up because of what I said then she stood up in her seat, "Omyyy! Thanks for that, Amber!"

I was stunned as she walked away from me and headed to the table where Kley is currently sitting. I watched her as she happily talked to him.

I know they are snobs but I was surprised when they made Areal sit at their table. Kley took a glance at me but he immediately looked away before talking again to Areal.

I sighed when the bell rang. It's dismissal. I looked at my watch  and saw it was about six o'clock in the evening. I started to pack all my things and glanced at Areal again.

I walked out of school without her. They're having a happy conversation and I don't want to contradict my friend's pleasure.

When I got home I immediately got ready. I also found out that Dad was not there so I was confident that nothing bad would happen to me now.

I looked to the mirror as I put an earring in my ear. I also put on the lingerie that Areal gave me and I put on the short dress.

I looked at my whole being in the mirror. I'm wearing it too badly but I have to do it otherwise I can't live now.

I grabbed my little sling bag with the zipper that's still broken before I got out of our hut and started walking. I turned to my wristwatch, "It's ten o'clock."
