"Kee!!"
The elevator halted at the 8th floor. The door opened itself.
Her heels-worn foot stepped out of the elevator, her anxious face released a deep sigh, and she walked along the hallway where there were no people. But ten people were waiting in front of the interview room, which was 6 metres away from the elevator.
She headed to that area and sat next to the man who had come here for the interview as well.
There was a beautiful woman in a neat officer's dress sitting inside the little, raised-temperature interview room; she was the woman, the mother of the god of fire, who had carried baby Hajoon in her hand from the river. Her name in the modern city was Ha-Eun.
And there was a young boy next to her whose age was 20 and who had a handsome square jawline, normal Irish eyes, a little dark eyebrow that suited his eyes, and a straight nose. He was Hajoon's brother, working as an assistant to CEO Hajoon because he hadn't finished college yet. His name was Haneoul.
Ha-Eun asked Haneoul, "Where did Hajoon go?"
Haneoul lifted his shoulder and lowered it instantly, showing an empty palm as if he had no idea where Hajoon was.
A few minutes later, the interview started.
Ha-Eun selected Cho-Hee and Sae-Rom.
Sae-Rom was a charming girl with a round-shaped face, mirrored Irish, short hair with bangs, and a thin, perfect body, and she always chose a little modern dress.
Ha-Eun informed them after getting the sign in the contract paper, "Wait outside for a moment."
Then they came out, while Haneoul stood up to go and pick up Hajoon.
Outside the interview hall,
"Hi, sister!" Sae-rom greeted a relaxed, smiling Cho-hee as Haneoul passed them and walked along the hallway.
She smiled genuinely and shook her hand. She greets back, "Hi, I'm Cho-Hee."
"I'm Sae-Rom, sister." She asked, and they sat next to each other.
"Don't call me a sister!" Cho-Hee said as they smiled at each other.
"I'm kind of excited to meet Hajoon, sir. Did you ever see him in person? Everyone says he is the most handsome man and too handsome to be a CEO." Sae-Rom praised him in a wonderful tone, as if he were explaining a great idol.
"No, I didn't." Cho-Hee hesitantly replied.
"Did you also come here to be a personal assistant for Hajoon?" SaeRom asked with a shocked expression.
"Oh, my god. Please say no!" She moaned in her mind as her bargaining stare ferreted out Cho-Hee's reaction.
"Yes," Cho-Hee replied shortly.
"No!!"
SaeRom screamed in her mind, and Cho-Hee shook her from her statue position.
"Can you stay in the high-temperature room? Why do you want to be an assistant to him?" Cho-Hee asked and advised, "I saw you sweating in the interview hall. You can't even stay in the little high-temperature hall. Don't hurt yourself for the work!"
SaeRom sighed disappointedly as Cho-Hee's advising words slid away and spread in the air when they were about to reach her ear.
"Don't hurt yourself for work. Just stay with Haneoul!" Cho-Hee massaged her shoulder, which was facing downward with a depressed face.
Cho-Hee was stunned when her eyes met the two people coming along the hallway.
There was Hajoon and his brother. Hajoon's face had tiny scratches, and his suit had been torn like it had been scratched by a sharp edge.
Cho-Hee took her hand from massaging her as SaeRom straightened up after hearing Hajoon's voice.
Just as Cho-Hee looked at the way two people were coming, her eyes widened and she hid her face with the file in her hand. He mumbled as if she were doomed, "What is he doing here? Is he Hajoon?" She asked herself.
Instantly, SaeRom unseated and bowed as they went inside without even minding her.
"How many times do I need to say that I don't want PA, Mom?" Hajoon complained as soon as she entered the interview hall.
"Just for one year, I can't look after you this year. I have other business to do." Ha-Eun asked a favour in a request-like way.
Hajoon annoyingly sighed before sitting between his mother and brother.
Ha-Eun rang the bell, which was on her table.
SaeRom pulled Cho-Hee in forcefully, whose feet pressed against the floor, but she refused to go in, and she kept the file in front of her face to hide her face.
After so many efforts, SaeRom pulled Cho-Hee in and shut the door.
Cho-Hee nervously lowered her file from her face as her eyes were seen by them, and SaeRom sat in the seat in front of them.
Cho-Hee's guilty stare looked directly at Hajoon, who was surprised to see her eyes.
As soon as Ha-Eun read Cho-Hee's mind, 'Is he Hajoon? Oh God, if I beat him like that, will he accept me as his PA? Please God help me; I can't do any other job except this. Please.' She turned her gaze to the place where she was looking.
Ha-Eun stares at Hajoon, rubbing his forehead embarrassingly and lowering his eyes because he knows that her mother is God too.
Is she the reason for your condition? Ha-Eun's mind asked him to embarrass Hajoon.
"Yes," his mind replied.
"Oh, my, are you hearing my mind?" She was also surprised since it was his first time hearing her mind's voice as Hajoon.
"Did you regain your memory too? Did you meet her too?" She kept asking questions in her mind's voice and mentioned Eun-Sook.
"Yes, she is!" His mind's voice answered as his pupils moved towards her.
Haneoul and Saerom tilted their confused heads to one side, watching them talk through their eyes.
Ha-Eun turned to her and smiled in her mind, but it didn't show on her face. So she acted like a real chairman and ordered, "Move away the file and sit!"
She nervously sat and refused to meet Hajoon's and everyone's eyes, while Hajoon's eyes didn't even move away from hers.
"Mr. Cho-Hee, you are PA to Hajoon. Mr.SaeRom, you are for Haneoul," she revealed, closing the file.
"Can I ask for a favour?" Cho-Hee hesitantly asked. She folded her lips anxiously before asking, "Can I be PA to Haneoul?"
"Really, Sister?" SaeRom's eyes beamed with excitement as she turned to her.
"Yes, I want her too!" Haneoul agreed instantly.
His mother and brother rubbernecked at him as soon as they heard him say it, while Cho-Hee smiled nervously.
"No, I can't change it! You two have already signed," Ha-Eun mentioned.
"Please." Cho-Hee stuck her palms together and pleaded.
"No," she strongly said, leaving the room with a split warning, "you two should take care of my sons carefully!"
Then Hajoon unseated himself and flipped his hair handsomely, which made Searom fall for him at first sight. He ordered as he passed Cho-Hee, "Let's talk in my office!"
She sighed disappointedly and followed him back without a second thought.
After that, Haneoul unseated himself and came closer to Saerom. He informed her, "You don't need to look after me. You are free to enjoy yourself because I have school to attend. Come only when I call you."
"What if Madam finds out?" She whispered as his face came closer to hers.
"Don't worry, I'm a pro at it!" He asserted in a whisper voice as their lips were closer to each other.
Her smile peaked through her lips as he left the room, and she looked back at him and wondered, "What a nice CEO!"
Cho-Hee followed Hajoon back to the room and shut the door for him.
"I didn't even think that you would be here." He giggled as he looked at her from bottom to top and at her neat dressing sense.
She frowned at his silly laughter.
"I don't want to work with perverts like you. I'm going to quit!" She turned back furiously.
"Who do you mean by pervert?" He raised his voice at her.
"You!" She stomped her words on his chest as he glared at her with confusingly raised eyebrows.
"You are the one who looked back at me after I called you Eun-Sook!" He declared her wrong and added, while she wryly looked at him, "Why did you respond to that name?"
"No, you called me Cho-Hee!" She raised her voice to equal his.
At the time, curious Ha-Eun came near Hajoon's office, her pupils looking left and right of the empty hallway once, and put her ear on the door after noticing that there was no one in the hallway.
"No, I didn't!" He strongly refused and stood for his justice.
"Yes, you called me Cho-Hee; that's why I turned!" She vociferated.
Hajoon warned her, "Anyway, you can't resign for two months. You have signed up for two months of training without vaping!"
He chuckled with a little smirk and put an end to the conversation.
She lowered her face as the furious burning in her eyes heated the upper corner of her ear. Her tension raised, and she folded her wrist tightly.
She always used to throw things at the person who made her tense. She always did it to her father at the house. But this was a business company, and he was the CEO.
However, she couldn't hold her anger, so she threw the file at him while he was trying to look at her face.
That file's upper corner edge punched his forehead forcefully, and he fell to the floor as the papers scattered on the floor. He uttered in pain and wrinkled his face out of pain.
Fluttered Ha-Eun (his mother) opened the door shortly and asked, "What happened?"
