Chapter 3: Valentines day

Today is not so important day, instead of scrolling my social media accounts, I decided to rest and lay down on my bed, I don't want to look bitter in checking my friends posting how they are enjoying this day.

"I'll be home at 8 in the evening," Alona said while brushing her hair.

I rolled my eyes, she'll have a dinner date with her boyfriend.

"Yeah, yeah," I answered.

"Warren might visit you later, so instead of lying down, go take a bath," She said and stood in front of me.

I covered my whole body with the duvet.

"Nah, he won't come, I told him I'm sick and I need to rest," I lied, I really wanted to see Warren today.

"Okay, I'll go now, what do you want?" She asked.

"Peace of mind," I answered blankly.

"TSK, I'll bring you chocolates later, Happy Valentines my best friend," She said and finally walked out.

I took off the duvet and sat on my bed. I was just sitting when the doorbell rang.

I am not expecting anything today except for Warren, but he doesn't really need to do that, he knows the password of the door so he can just walk in.

I went down to check, as I opened the door I saw a delivery guy holding a box of cake, human sized teady bear, flowers and a paper bag.

" Sir, these are for you," He said.

"Ow, sorry, I did not order anything, maybe you knocked on the wrong apartment," I said and was about to close the door.

" That's impossible, your room number is 204, and it was clearly written on this paper, look," He said and handed me the paper.

The apartment number is my room, but who gave this one?

I came back to my senses when he asked me," Yohan, right? "

I nodded as a respone.

" So these are all yours, "He added and handed me the gifts.

I took it and thanked him.

The stuffed toy was heavy. After putting the things on the living room, I immediately run to my room and chatted Alona.

" Did you order these items? "I asked and sent her the photos. It didn't take long when she replied.

" Of course not, you know that I cannot afford those things, check everything, there might be a letter, "She said.

I opened the paper bag and saw a letter.

You are one of the best thing I had, please don't change.

             - - Secret admirer.

I took the gift inside the paper bag, I slowly opened it and was shocked when I saw a Sotus Boxset.

Now I know where these things came from. I dialed Warren's number, it took only two rings when he answered the call.

" I told you not to buy anything, right?" I shouted.

"What? I did not order anything yet, I'm still here in the market buying fruits for you," He answered. I can hear background noises.

"Then who brought these things?" I asked.

"Don't know? And what are those things by the way?"

"Nothing special," I answered.

I didn't wait his answer when I dropped the call.

Who the hell gave these?

I put the cake inside the fridge and left everything in the living room, I went back to my room and decided to play my favourite mobile game.

I was about to start when I received a message.

Did you liked my gifts?

So it was Pretty boy who sent those stuffs?

"How did you know that I like the Sotus boxset? "

"I saw your post,"

"What? Are we friends in Facebook?"

"No, I just saw it, you haven't accepted my friend request, so did you liked it?"

"I did but, those are too much, where are you from? I'll give it back, besides we haven't knew each other, why did you ordered those?"

"Secret, just enjoy this day, I'll invite you for a game later," He said.

I did not reply after that, I was about to take a bath when I heard Warren shouting outside the window. I went there and saw him waving.

I went down and opened the door.

"Happy Valentines," He said and handed me a bouquet of roses.

"Sorry, this is the only thing I can offer today,"

" I told you not to buy anything, but still thank you," I replied

"Are you not mad?"

"Why would I?"

"Because I only gave you flowers,"

"TSK, these are lovely, and besides, having you here is the best gift I could ever received," I answered.

He went directly to the living area, I saw how he smiled. He looks cute.

" These are from? "He asked.

" Pretty boy, the one who keeps on inviting me to play mobile legends, " I answered as I put the flowers on the vase.

" UHHM, why you did not put these flowers in that vase earlier? "

" Why would I?  I don't even know that guy, To be honest, I want to give it back but he doesn't want to provide his address, so I decided to place it in the table, I'll just give it to Alona, by the way, have you eaten already? "

" Not yet, "

" Okay, stay there, watch movies first, I'll cook food for you, "

I went in the kitchen to prepare.

" It looks like you are my wife today,"

" What? Wife? Why? "I laughed.

" I look like your husband who just came from work and you are my wife who will prepare the food for us, what if we get married? "He asked.

I was stunned on what he said.

He wanted to get married to me?

" Hey, I was just joking, "He said.

I shook my head and smiled.

" Yeah, please, stop joking it makes me wanted to vomit, "I said and faced the stove.

My heart was beating furiously, I can also feel how hot my face is, I know it's turning red now. How can he say those words straight forward.

" Warren, please don't say those words in other people, okay? "

" The what? "

" The marry, thingy,"

"Why not?"

"Because they might fall and believes in you, you should only say those words to the person that deserves your love,"

"Then marry me,"

"I said stop,"

He stopped talking and I continued cooking, Warren was busy watching Anime.

I should have listened to him, if I believed his statements, maybe I am happy now.
