CHAPTER 3: CURIOUSITY
Siah secretly left the rented house. She took the laptop and went to the back of the house. She sat on a chair, bamboo attached to a mango tree. She sneaked in so that she could continue making the story. She's hiding from Kent because she's sure Kent get angry with her again.
She has already started typing. But she lost her focus when a strong wind blew. It flew her loose hair while whispering to her.
"My mate..." the wind whispered to her.
She looked at the dark part of the yard.
The caretaker of the house told them that no one can enter the Sierra forest. It is a private property that is forbidden to enter. It was also mentioned earlier that strange creatures live here.
Siah didn't know but she seemed hypnotized to walk closer to it.
She suddenly thought that the wolves might live here and they are the so -called strange creatures in the forest.
She was getting closer and closer to entering the forest. She stopped with a glare in the dark. Two red lights.
She realized that it was a pair of eyes.
She looked at her earnestly, as if she was waiting for her to come to him on purpose.
Siah was consumed by her curiosity. She stepped closer to it.
A little bit and she can see his face. She was suddenly close when suddenly someone grabbed her arm.
She returned to the courtroom and looked at the one holding her arm.
Kent frowned at him.
"Are you okay?" He worried question,
Siah did not nod.
"What are you doing here? It's ready late." He let go of her arm then walked towards the bamboo chair. She remained in her place and looked around the forest. She hadn't even seen the red eyes.
"No, it's windy," she replied then approached it. She was shocked to see her boyfriend looking at her open laptop.
Disappointed it turned to him.
She hesitated to smile. "Babe? I can explain," she said hesitantly.
Her smile turned to a grimace as she turned around and walked quickly into the house. She sighed and arranged her belongings. It must have contributed to her again. Why is she spaced out? She was caught in no time. She had trouble entering the house.
"Alpha, where have you been?" one of his disciples asked Zoren. He complained about it. "None of your business!" He shout. The disciple bowed in fear and shame. He passed it and entered the private room for the leaders. There he caught up with Beta Gray who was busy reading a book.
"Gray..." he called Gray.
Gray looked at him then removed the wearing glasses.
"Zoren! it's miracle that you come out of your cave. I thought you were there for life," he said then stood up.
He went straight to his own table.
"Gray, I've seen her," he replied seriously.
"Really? To which pack does Luna belong?" its a fun question.
He sighed violently.
"She's not like us. She's a HUMAN BEING," he said emphatically.
"W-what?" Gray asked incredulously.
"Are you sure? Maybe you're so desperate that you even beat people up?" Gray question.
He stared at it so it became silent.
"I'm sure it's her. She's the one I saw in my dream. I smelled her and I felt the special bond between the two of us," he explained frustrated.
Gray sighed. He did not know what to say to his friend.
"And I saw her with others," Zoren added dejectedly.
"What are you going to do now Alpha?" Gray asked.
"I will take back what is MINE. I will take her, whether voluntarily or compulsorily."
To be continued...
