Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2: BAD WOLF

A meeting is taking place today in the Hellburg pack. The pack is led by their Alpha Zoren Hellburg.

But Alpha is not there. He is huddled in his house because he has not yet found his Luna. The only ones present at the meeting were the elders and scholars in the pack. The former Alpha and his mate Zoren's parents were also there.

"We must stop Alpha from killing the rest of our comrades. If that continues we may be gradually exhausted," an old wolf said anxiously.

"That's right! We will not be consumed because of the enemies but because of our own leader," said another wolf.

"I'm apologizing for what my son is doing," Mr. apologized. Zacarias Hellburg.

"Our son is just like that because he hasn't found his mate yet. Luna..." Mrs, Saorina Hellburg said.

The werewolves in the meeting were silent for a moment. Suddenly the door opened and a handsome man was spit out. He is tall and has an elegant posture. He bowed in respect to the people there. He walked in and sat down next to the empty center seat.

"Beta, is there any news about Luna?" asked the old sage. The man who arrived was Beta Gray Hollander. He is second to most leader. Follow by the Alpha.

Everyone is waiting for him to respond. They are all hoping for the good news he brings.

Gray just shook his head quietly and seriously. The werewolves' shoulders fell at the meeting.

"Then Alpha will still continue what it is doing. We must think of a way to stop Alpha's crooked work," the oldest wolf said disappointedly. Some made suggestions. While Beta thinks differently. "Where are you, our Luna?" question in the mind of the troubled Beta.

Siah blinked in front of her laptop. Is it just imagination or did someone really call her name? She shook her head. That's just fantasy. She was just hallucinating especially and she hadn’t slept yet. She was busy thinking of a new story that she would do.

She went to the google website and typed the word “Warewolves” Very few results came out. "Persevere with it." shrugged Siah then pressed ‘see more’.

She knew very little information. Just like warewolves are half human and half wolf. It can look like a human or a wolf. They come together as a tribe or pack. In each pack there is a ruler. Alpha and his mate they call Luna. Each wolf has a designated mate they call a mate.

Like humans, mates are the ones destined for them. But with wolves, when they encounter it, they immediately feel the 'special bond' that binds them.

There are good wolves and there are bad ones. These are the wolves without a recognized leader. They also don’t live in packs. They just roam the forests and look for prey. They are known as Rogue Wolves. Werewolves often live in forests that have not been much visited by humans. There is a chance that they interact with people but because they can look like us so we do not notice them.

"Forest?" She said in absence. A smile flashed on her lips. If she gets a little information on google, she will look for other information herself.

She picked up the cellphone next to the laptop and dialed.

"H-hello..." replied the person on the other line. Its hoarse voice is a sign that it is just waking up.

"Kent? Are you just going to wake up?" she asked her boyfriend.

"Uhm... y-yeah, why'd you call babe?" Her boyfriend ask.

"Didn't you say you want me to relax first and have quality time with you? I agree. And I want us to go to the virgin forests. I want some nature adventure," she said with a smile.

She will adventure in nature with her boyfriend and at the same time she will be looking for information about warewolves. Its like hitting two birds in one stone.

"Kent hurry up! We might spend the night on the road, the mountain province is still far from here!" Siah seemed impatient to shout at her boyfriend.

"Wait up babe, I'm just arranging your stuff in the compartment. Didn't you forget anything? You brought your whole apartment," Kent said sarcastically then approached Siah.

She just roll her eyes. "Is that over? Let's go,"She said.

"You're so excited babe. Hop in my princess," Kentsaid after she opened the door. She smiled at him before getting into the car. Turn it around and get in the driver seat. It has already started the car.

A few more moments and they are on their way. She was still sitting in the Indian seat while the laptop rested on her lap. Kent, on the other hand, is just serious about driving.

Eventually he turned to her. "Babe can you sleep first? The place is still far away," he said.

“Wait, I’ll just finish this prologue of my story,” she said without looking back. She heard him sigh.

"I thought this is going to be our quality time together? How can that happen if you're always in front of your laptop?" melody plays he says.

She stopped typing then turned to her boyfriend. His face was serious as he just looked straight at the road.

Oops! Angry kid! In her mind she could say. She saved the notes and then turned off the laptop. She put it in the back seat then leaned slightly in front of Kent. She quickly give a peck on his cheeks.

This was obviously surprised.

"I'm sorry okay? Promise not to do it again. Forgive me please? All right, I'll go to sleep. Should I wake up you're not angry okay? I love you!" She said at once sitting up and turning a blind eye. She smiled when she heard him sigh. It means she is forgiven.

It's up to you later. I'll just hide from him when I type again. She said in her mind. She did not realize that she was slowly falling asleep. And because she was awake, she was completely asleep ...

Siah was walking in the middle of the forest. She could not understand but even when she was alone she felt no fear. She is just complacent.

Until she saw a dog in the distance. She walked closer to it. As she approached, the beast's appearance became clearer to her.

This isn't a dog it's  a big wolf! Her eyes widened and she stumbled to the stand. Its plumage is so black that when exposed to light it turns blue-violet. On the side of his neck there is a thick white fur round. It walked closer to her. Every step of it makes her retreat.

As it walks, it also changes its form into a human being!

It was a  away from her when her back hit the tree. She was cornered. It is also exactly that it has changed as a person. It's a man. A greek-like God with handsome men. She was wearing only knee -length jeans with freckles. It has no top so she can see the beautiful shape of his body.

She sees the fine fur below its navel towards,  She can no longer see because of the denim fabric covering there. Next non is the flat stomach and his 8 pack abs.

Suddenly her throat went dry so she swallowed. Her eyes traveled up to his wide chest with thin hair in the middle, to his elegant shoulders up to his neck. She stared at his bulging adam's apple. Suddenly he moved so she looked up at his face.

Its beautiful lips are a little red. The nose is also pointed, his eyebrows are quite thick which is in line with his masculine color --- his skin is golden. She doubted if he was just a farmer or a hunter. Even just being naked doesn’t seem difficult. He looks even more like a model. Model of the briefs and jeans...

She looked him in the eye. Suddenly her heartbeat quickened so she was held there. Chocolate colored eyes. His gaze is enticing. It was as if his eyes were absorbing all his strength. She felt weak. Helpless. And she badly need him.

In an instant it was in front of her. His face dropped closer to hers. She closed her eyes thinking it would kiss her. But the feeling of his little kiss on the side of her neck made her dizzy. Wait! Is it a werewolf or a vampire? She asked in her mind.

She was startled by it licking her neck. She closes her eyes, the heat of her tongue and it feels good.

She whispers something every time a kiss touches her neck.

"My Mate..."

"My Luna..."

"MINE.."

"ONLY MINE...."

"Babe? Wake up! Babe!"

A weak slap on the cheek woke Siah up. She stared then blinked. She turned to the man who was looking at her while the expression on his face was as if he were a three -headed animal.

His forehead furrowed.

"Why do you look like that?" She asked crookedly.

She shrugged. "Suddenly you growled. Then your growl was weird, it was like it hurt and it was delicious. I thought you were having a nightmare so I woke you up. I'm just worried," was he long reply. "Are you okay?" its posthumous question.

She nodded and nodded. She must be very red now. Embarrassing! Her boyfriend saw how she fantasized in the dream. Even the thought of it makes her nightmare.

When her embarrassment passed, she looked up. She first noticed that their car was stopped.

"Kent, why has the car stopped? Did it run out of gas?" She asked one question after another.

"No. We stop because we're already here," he said then went down.

She was in a hurry to follow it. The cold wind greeted her. She closed her eyes so as not to wake up. "Mine..." whispered softly in her ear. She blinked then looked around. She didn't see anyone else so she just shrugged.

"Babe, come over here! Help me with our things please," Kent shouted from the back of the car.

"Okay just wait!" She shouted back then ran closer to it.

His adventure of finding information about werewolves is about to begin.
