Aiden dragged her out. There was something about her tears that he hated the very sight of it and even though she didn’t cry, the redness in her eyes said all about how much those words had hurt her.
Aiden knew that Caden wasn’t living an easy life like him and Amira. His childhood was hard living away from his family and their father had something to do with it but he couldn't use it as an excuse every time he hurt people.
"Hey" Aiden mumbled at her as they stood at the backward of the mansion that was filled with trees.
"He is an asshole" he spat angrily.
"I am fine Aiden" she smiled but there was sadness in it.
"You are not" he spoke stroking her hairs.
Next moment tears flooded through her big eyes and he let her cry. Crying was a way of getting rid of all the pain she felt.
"Aiden" she breathed out.
"Shh..shh... I am here for you" he spoke kissing her hairs as he held her in his embrace.
She sniffed for few more minutes, happy about the comfort she felt that she hasn’t felt before.
"I bet I look like a damsel in distress right now. Such a cry baby I am" she laughed in his chest.
"Don’t cry for him, he isn't worth it" he told her.
"Back to the flirting aren’t you?" she laughed escaping his arms.
He looked at her in adoration. In his whole existence he had never seen anyone like her. Her simplicity was her beauty. The way her grey eyes twinkled, the way her cheeks flared with embarrassment. The way her long nose fitted just right in her face. He had given up on finding the reason about why it was her.
He just knew that he felt something for her and he didn't want to see her crying ever.
But with all those looks and money, He still couldn't bring it in himself to tell her about his feelings.
"Hey" she called out touching his cheeks.
"Are you ok?" She asked.
"Yeah" he replied smiling.
Kristen stood up on her tip toes and kissed his cheeks lightly before mumbling a small 'thank you'.
"Anytime" he kissed her forehead as they sat down in complete peace.

Amira was mad at her brother for the way he treated her best friend. Not just some moments ago she justified him and now he was behaving like this.
"I am asking you something, baby sis" Caden repeated calm.
"Well Caden. She is my best friend so it has nothing to do with you" she replied in the same calm voice.
Rivera's knew how to control their emotions that ran into their blood.
Caden clenched and unclenched his fist trying to control his anger. First the thought of someone troubling her, then Aiden being alone with her and now Amira’s defiance, he was losing his calm.
"Do not test my patience baby sis" his voice so threatening that it even scared Amira.
"Fine... it was her old, pesky and perverted landlord trying to get into her pants" she shrugged.
"WHAT" he shouted.
His jaw clenched as he took a vase from the table and smashed it.
"Why are you so concerned about her" Amira couldn't help but ask.
When she didn't get any reply and Caden started to leave.
"Who are you? You are no longer my caddy" she muttered defeated.
Caden suddenly stopped after hearing his childhood nickname but he couldn't find it in him to turn and look into her eyes, Those eyes that once held adoration and trust for him, looking at him with disappointment.
He didn't wanted his little baby sis to see the broken man behind the mask of a monster he had turned into.
He couldn't tell her that only the sight of her best friend made him feel things and emotions he buried deep. Looking at her made him crave for her attention and smile. Her smell drives him crazy whenever she was near her.
"Why did you changed into someone like this?" Amira asked with pain.
"I think Mr. Rivera will able to answer the question much better" he replied as he walked away from her.
Amira stood at her ground hurting. She wasn't sure what her father did to her brother but she surely hated him for whatever he did.
She walked out and saw Kristen sitting beside Aiden and looking at the woods ahead of them.
Amira knew that Aiden had feelings for her best friend but she also knew that her best friend was completely unaware of his feelings and just considered him a flirt.
Why Caden, why not Aiden? Was the question she always asked herself?
There was nothing wrong with Aiden but she was still too much in love with Caden. Even though Caden and Aiden had both been twins, they were entirely different.
Aiden was warm and loving but 10 year old Caden was warmer. Aiden was always self centered and concerned, it was always about him but Caden had always had her back. Caden never let any harm reach her.
Even when Aiden ran away from the 15 year old boy from the fear of getting beaten up, Caden stood up and beaten him down and got hurt just because the boy dared to call her a bitch.
She always wondered what kind of a person Caden must have turned into if her father didn't send him away.
The way Caden screamed and was concerned about Kristen shocked her. Obviously his words hurt Krisy but that wasn’t caddy, it was her father's Caden.
She decided to walk towards them still wondering if her other brother has also started falling for her best friend.
