Chapter 1 Caught in the act

Maryann

(Four months later)

”I still regret that moment, ” I said, smacking my face with my textbook.

Letty, ever the one to find humor in even the most awkward situations, couldn’t hold back her laughter beside me. She chuckled softly at first, but then her amusement grew, and soon, tears were streaming down her face.

“Letty, this is not funny!” I groaned, embarrassed by the memory.

“I'm sorry, Anne,” she said through her giggles, wiping her eyes. “But you should’ve seen your face. You were so—” She burst out laughing again, clutching her stomach.

A few students nearby glanced over, curious, but I didn't care. We had just wrapped up our final exams in college. Both of us were studying accounting, though I never really understood why I chose it. I hated the class, but I did it anyway, thinking it would be my way into working at my parents’ company.

“You pushed me, Letty,” I complained, still glaring at her, though a small smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

She wiped the last of her tears. “I didn’t know he would… well, you know, react like that.”

“Yeah, right,” I muttered, rolling my eyes. I wasn’t ready to talk about it just yet.

I walked out of the building and toward the parking lot, the weight of what had happened still hanging over me. I was about to climb into Letty’s car when I heard a voice that made my stomach drop.

“Maryann!”

I stopped and turned around, already irritated. “What?”

David stood a few feet away, looking surprised at my reaction. “I— I just thought we could talk.”

“No.” I cut him off before he could say more. “I’ve told you this already, David. I’m not interested.”

I could see his confusion as I slid into the passenger seat, slamming the door behind me. The sound echoed in my ears, but I didn’t care. I just wanted to leave.

David was my classmate, who had a crush on me since our first year , but I wasn’t interested and he doesn’t seem to get it.

As we drove off, the thought of Peterson flooded my mind.

I couldn’t shake the memory of that night—our kiss, the way his hands had touched me. , it was everything I had wanted. The way he had pulled away, and told me I wasn’t ready, that I was still a kid, had cut deeper than I’d expected.

"Kids aren't my thing, Maryann," he'd said, his voice rough and dismissive.

But everything about that kiss told me otherwise. “The way you just kissed me says otherwise,” I had retorted, hoping for some sign that he felt it too. “I know you want me”. My eyes locked onto his.

I pulled the sleeve of my dress off my shoulders exposing my breast. He tensed as his gaze drifted down and his once blue eyes darkened. He slowly grabbed it, squeezing it tightly.

“Peterson” I whimpered moaning.

"These breasts aren't mature enough for me," he had smirked, and I felt humiliated, a hot rush of shame sweeping through me.

And then he walked away.

Letty’s voice brought me back to the present. “Anne, are you crying?”

I hadn't realized it, but I wiped my cheek quickly. "I feel so stupid. You told me to just tell him how I felt, but I did more than that. I... I threw myself at him. I'm embarrassed."

Letty's gaze softened as she turned to face me. "Shh... Look at me," she said gently, raising my chin so I would meet her eyes. “I’m sure Peterson likes you.

I shook my head, not wanting to believe it. "It doesn’t matter," I mumbled. "He’s different now. It’s been years."

“Maryann, you’re just not seeing it,” Letty said, her voice laced with amusement. “You didn't see his look when he came out from wherever you both disappeared to” She chuckled softly before she continued. “Girl he looked like a wreck”

I sighed, closing my eyes in frustration. "He's changed, Letty. We don't know him anymore."

She gave me a playful look, poking my arm lightly. "I don’t know... you might just be in denial. The Uncle Peter we know stays back after parties and we share drinks, he gave you your first alcohol, remember” She tilted her head and glanced at me with a smirk, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

I couldn't deny it as the memories of several parties my family had celebrated flashed in my head. Peterson would stay back after each, caring for me. He would carry me on his lap and make sure I was okay, I guess I was just a baby to him, while I had always admired him.

I had my first masturbation at sixteen while thinking about him. His face made me cum that night, I had imagined myself grinding on his cock while seated on his lap. My clitorial began to pulsate, and I sighed in frustration, drawing my legs together.

“Look, I am sure Uncle Peterson is just trying to protect you” Letty continued unaware of my trembling pussy. “I mean he is twenty years older than you, what do you think society would say?”. She looked at me softly, her eyes pleading I understand.

I glared at her, 'Why don't you become a psychologist since you now read people huh? Instead of wasting time with accounting”.

Letty burst into a fit of laughter. “Uncle Peterson really did you bad”.

She turned to look at me before concentrating back on the road. Letty was a good driver and this is how we have been since high school, my parents never let me drive and I don't know why, even when I came of age, they never got me a car and my brother still dropped me in school, after he graduated Letty continued up until college.

"How about we go out tonight? We deserve a break, don’t we? Celebrate the end of exams—get some fun in the mix and forget about Uncle Peterson for a while.

I smiled at the idea. "Yeah. Maybe you're right. It’s time I let go and start living for myself."

*********

An hour later, I stood in front of the mirror, admiring my look. The V-neck of my dress exposed just enough, I had decided not to wear any bra and my nipple poked through it. I let my hair fall in soft curls over my shoulders like a waterfall.

“Peterson is so blind,” I muttered, then shook my head, scolding myself for even thinking of him.

A familiar scent washed over me as I stepped out of the room. Letty had already texted that she was waiting outside for me. I turned around only to freeze in place.

Peterson stood there leaning casually against the wall, his room was also on the top floor, I guess he was going there before he saw me. His sharp gaze pierced through me, his eyes travelled all over my body, lingering on every exposed curve, and when our eyes locked, the air between us thickened.

“Where are you going, dressed like this? He said, his voice low and dangerous, the kind that made my knees weak. “Showing what is mine?”

I swallowed hard, my heart thudding like a drum. “Excuse me?” I forced out, trying to keep my voice steady. “Last time I checked, kids aren't your thing. Or did you change your mind?”

He pushed off the wall, closing the space between us with deliberate steps. My breath hitched, every nerve of my body screaming for me to step back, but I stood rooted in place.

His hands shot out, grabbing my waist and pulling me against him. My body betrayed me, and my head began to spin with the closeness. “Maryann” —

His hand caressed my arms and he tilted my face to meet his gaze. “You are playing with fire” He said, his voice sounding hoarse.

I could see the burning desire, the intensity melting me. The vibration of my phone snapped me back to reality and then I remembered Letty.

I shoved him with more force than I thought I had, fumbling to answer the call. “Hello, babe!“ I said breathlessly, trying to steady myself.

Before I could say another word, Peterson snatched the phone out of my hand and ended the call with a calm infuriating click.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” I snapped, my voice rising with anger, “Give me back my phone”.

His lips curved in a dangerous smirk “Go back inside and change”. He ordered, his voice low and commanding.

I stepped closer, fire blazing in my eyes. “You don't get to tell me what to do. You are not my parent, and you are definitely not —

“Not what, say it Maryann?” he interrupted, leaning down so his face was mere inches from mine. “Do not test me, I don't play with what's mine” he said through gritted teeth.

His words sent shivers down my spine, but I refused to let him see how much it affected me. “You are delusional.” I spat trying to snatch my phone.

He caught my wrist mid air, holding it firmly but gently. “Delusional?” His gaze dropped to my gaze dropped to my lips before meeting my eyes again, his voice dropping to a whisper. “You’ve always been mine”

My breath hitched and for a fleeting moment, I thought he was going to kiss me. But then my mothers voice shattered the moment.

“Maryann, what in God's name is causing the noise?”.

I spun around, my blood turning ice. My mother’s eyes widened as she took in my outfit and her shocked gasp sent my heart somersaulting.

“Maryann! My goodness!” she shrieked.

Mortified, I bolted back Into my room, slamming the door behind me as realization dawned on me.
