Chapter 4 Becoming a Vampire Duke's Maid (I)

Emma continued to urge." Hurry up and drink it; it'll make you beautiful."

Emma was satisfied as she watched Olivia dutifully drink the liquid from her glass.

What followed was dress-up after dress-up, and Emma seemed to fall in love with the game of "Miracle Olivia," trying on each outfit, nodding her head, and then changing into another outfit, satisfied and nodding again.

I have to say, it's a good thing to be good-looking, you can wear any costume.

Finally, Emma chose a cosplay maid's outfit for Olivia, which was exquisite and valuable at first glance, with golden cat ears clinging to Olivia's head and a cat's tail at the back that swung around with her movements as she walked around.

Olivia looks at herself in the mirror and suddenly realizes that the world seems a little funky.

After changing, Olivia topped off her shame and walked to the front of the hoard of maids.

Emma categorizes the group of maids into two types: one is in charge of ordinary chores, there are those who welcome guests at the door, and those who are in charge of cleaning; most of these maids are average-looking. The other is the senior maids who appear at the banquet and are responsible for "serving wine and pouring water" to the guests.

I don't know if they were really serving wine or just showing off the maid.

Olivia, who had been given the assignment, looked at the scarlet liquid in the glass and the rusty odor, and she didn't want to explore what it was anymore.

Physiological regurgitation makes Olivia want to throw up. But at the end of the day, in order to make Olivia look like a waifish, Emma hasn't given Olivia anything to eat at all, and she now has a stomach ache that makes her want to throw up.

Emma saw how hard she looked and gave her what looked like a peach.

Here you go. You humans are a pain in the ass. You're always hungry, sleepy, and sick."

Olivia takes a bite and realizes that the fruit that looks like a peach tastes like an orange.

???? Well, at least she kind of likes oranges.

Olivia thought optimistically, then swallowed the fruit like a rabbit.

It was only after feeling her stomach fill up with food that Olivia felt as if her stomach wasn't so bad anymore.

Outside the window, the sun was slanting in the west, the scorching heat finally becoming mild, and the party finally welcomed a few guests.

Emma didn't greet them; as one of the top aristocratic hotels in Breckenridge, it wasn't like she hadn't seen nobility before, and these people in front of her didn't seem to have enough status to be greeted personally.

Olivia hung her head honestly by Emma's side like a maid, trying to hide her face.

I don't know how long it took, but finally, three men came through the hall door. The leader had long green hair and red eyes, and he surveyed the entire group before looking at Emma.

As soon as Emma saw it, she immediately yanked Olivia's hand to her, a winking smile on her face.

"Duke Mateo, it's been a while since I've seen you look this handsome."

Mateo glanced disdainfully at the winking Emma, the contempt in his eyes undisguised.

"Duke Samuel isn't here yet! Damn it, it's not like I'm the grand finale!" Mateo said hatefully.

Emma pretended not to see the contempt in the other party's eyes; after all, she wouldn't have dared to say anything if someone of this status looked down on her as someone without noble status.

I don't know what this Duke Mateo is thinking. He's obviously just a Duke who hasn't grown up yet, but he has to come out last and try to make a splash.

Olivia remained with her head down, looking at her toes.

Hopefully, Duke Samuel had suddenly run into some kind of emergency when he arrived, so she wouldn't have to be sacrificed. However, she also knew that even if she wasn't sacrificed to Duke Samuel, she'd be sacrificed to some other Marquis Count or something.

"Who's this kitten? Lift your head."

Mateo's meaty eyes couldn't stop sizing up Olivia; he was not sure what she looked like, but the body did look good his type.

"Honorable Duke Mateo, this is just a humble human, so be careful not to define your eyes." Seeing that Mateo's interest had been aroused by Olivia, Emma had no choice but to politely stop her.

What a joke! This was dedicated to Duke Samuel; if Duke Mateo grabbed it, then Duke Samuel might not blame Mateo, but he would definitely find trouble with her, and she would definitely be in for a rude awakening.

"Che, human." There was no longer contempt in Mateo's eyes but naked disgust, and his first reaction to hearing that Olivia was a human was to rush away, like avoiding the plague, instantly moving meters away from Olivia at speeds no human could ever hope to achieve." Only that Samuel guy likes this, tsk tsk. Hurry up and take it away; it's disgusting to look at."

Mateo ignored the stares of the others and took the seat that was supposed to belong to Samuel, sitting directly at the top of the entire party.

Everyone else didn't dare to speak and turned a blind eye; anyway, the Duke and the Duke fought; if they could hide, it was better for them, the little people, to hide.

"You go down first," Emma said to Olivia." Duke Mateo is here, and you will offend him if you are not careful; wait until you see Duke Samuel coming in a few moments before you go over."

After that, Emma left in a hurry, looking as if she had something urgent to do.

As soon as Emma left, the other maids began to play hard to get with Olivia. They grabbed everything and acted like they were afraid Olivia would steal their thunder.

"Fuck off. Can't you see how much Duke Mateo loathes you? Get as far away as you can." A sweet-looking vampire maid rushed towards Olivia, baring her sharp teeth.

Olivia rushed away from her, not realizing that she was the only human in the entire group until she saw the sharp teeth of the vampires; it was as if she was a lamb to the slaughter that had accidentally wandered into the territory of the wolves, to be teased and eventually eaten.

Olivia was now incredibly grateful for the maids; at least she didn't have to stay in front of the red-eyed wolves.

She walked to a corner near the entrance to the party, trying to narrow her presence.

These so-called vampire nobles seemed to be very satisfied with the attendants prepared by Emma, and some of them had already enjoyed it without caring about the others; their red pupils were particularly conspicuous in the brightly lit hall, and their sharp teeth savored the delicious food with impunity.

They are indeed not a race.

Olivia's body was already shaking with fear; she could barely tell herself to calm down; being scared wouldn't help, but she had never seen such a scene before, and the vampires that were being enjoyed had a slight blush on their faces and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well.

It's so weird.

Duke Mateo above was clearly not interested in eating, as he looked bored at what was going on below.
