ARLETTE

I stared out of the car as I was taken to the Alpha King's pack. I sighed and touched my bracelet, which Mama gave me as a souvenir because she wasn't sure I would return to her. As for my father, for the first time he let his feelings out, he embraced me with guilt, bitterness and regret, which completely melted my heart.

"I'm sorry, I hope you find the heart to forgive." He whispered.

I will miss my home, even though I was stuck in a room for years, I will still miss it.

Alpha Gareth stood in front of his office window and stared out thoughtfully.

He remembered what happened at the congregation meeting.

*It's weird, why did I notice cinnamon chocolates and strawberries.*

"Isn't it obvious?" His wolf win said. Strange right, so it was said.

"Mate." He said mockingly.

"She comes." said Wins, wagging his tail happily. He rolled his eyes and pushed him into the back of his mind.

The air filled with her scent, soon the door opened, the guard came in. He bowed

"She is here."

"Bring her in."

Immediately we entered, our eyes met, we stared at each other and spoke the unspeakable.

"Mate." whispered my mind. I mentally rolled my eyes. He clenched his fist and looked away.

"You will pay for disrespecting me" he said coldly.

The chill in his voice sent chills down my spine.

"Take her away."

Later I was taken to the dungeon where I spent few days in the dungeon, then I was taken to the slave house where I was assigned to work in the pack factory.

Which I had never done.

“I could hear whispers as I turned the wheel.

"Hi" I heard next to me

"Hi" I said without looking at her

"You must be the new girl they brought yesterday." She said I stayed silent

"I'm Marie, what's yours"

"You don't belong here." she said suddenly. I stared at her

She smiled before it turned straight.

"You were never born for it, but it is your destiny." She said before setting to work.

"Why does she speak in parables?" I thought and stared at her.

Alpha Gareth stood in the shower and remembered the letter that had been sent to him that morning

The letter was about one of the small pack who was attacked by unknown forces.

Research will know what they were

"What could it be if they weren't villains."

"Whatever it is, it will be hunted down and dealt with.

Still thinking about it, his mind suddenly wandered to Arlette

"The goddess must be making a mistake."

"Mate is for wimps." he thought as the water poured down on him.

After a few minutes he turned off the shower and wrapped the towel around his waist.

As he exited the bathroom, he found his favorite mistress lying seductively on the bed.

"What do you want?." said his deep voice.

"Gareth." she cried, biting her lip. He turned his back on her and searched his closet for what to wear. She got up and walked towards him, hugging him from behind. Her hand snakes to his lower part

He growled with sharp breaths, she smiled.

That's why she's his darling, she knows what he wants and she's always there for him.

He turned to her and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her roughly. One thing she likes about him was his roughness.

In an unknown cave.

"She is here." said an unfamiliar voice

Mistress Nicole, the Alpha King's second mistress, was once a witch, also a slave of the King, who agrees to be powerless to become the Alpha Mistress.

She was taking a walk round the pack, when she got to the factory she saw Arlette

"She looks familiar." she thought and stared at her.

"Who is she?" she asked the maid next to her

"She's the new slave."

"When was she brought?"

"Hey, you follow me." Said one of the guards watching over us, pointing in my direction. I stared at him. He is one of the flirtatious guards who sleep with slaves and promise them to do housekeeping. He's been trying to hit on me since I was brought into the factory, I always ignored him.

"Are you deaf? Follow me,” he said, pointing at me before walking away. There was a murmur as I followed him.

"I wish I could be in her shoe* I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

I followed him wherever he took me, suddenly we stopped in front of a cave.

"Why should I, is there anything I can do?

"Yes," he said. I rolled my eyes as I walked in and scanned the cave with my eyes, it was a large calming cave to relax in.

"Does this look like a factory, you're stupid." whispered my mind.

"Then why am I here?"

"He wants to go down with you." Said my subconscious. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"I can't... I hadn't finished my statement when he pinned me against the wall with his hand on my butt.

"What are you doing?" I asked angrily, slapping his hand away from my butt. I really felt offended.

"Do my will and you will be one of the maids." He said. I scoffed, irritated.

"I'm not desperate, nor do I want to be." I said. He smiled. I rolled my eyes.

"Nope." I said trying to push him away.

"Let's go at each other, I'll make sure your tasks are easy."

After what happened between the guard and I, my work was heavier than before, my meals were reduced.

I was also sent to work in the mine, where I almost fell into the pit bowl.

I was sitting on my bed in the slave room when two palace guards walked in

"Who is Arlette?" they asked.

"The Alpha King is calling you." The first said.

"Why?"

"If you come to him." The second answered. I got up and walked out with them at my side. I hope I haven't done anything wrong.

As they walked toward the Alpha King's office, the scent filled the air

"Can you perceive that?" I asked the guard on my left, he glared at me.

“Why is this scent getting stronger and stronger as we get closer to the Alpha King's office?* I thought as I was ushered into the Alpha King's office.

There I saw him sitting in his chair, with a guy with strawberry blonde hair and to his right a lady in royal attire who looked very familiar to me. I don't know why I suddenly hated her, maybe the fact that she had her hand on his shoulder or the way she looked.

"Maybe she's his Luna," I thought. The thought broke my heart to pieces. I suddenly felt the urge to kill to touch what is mine, the urge tried to get uncontrollable but I tried harder to control it and I succeeded.

He waved his hand to the guards who brought me, they stepped out.

"Can you both excuse us" he said. They stared at me, then at him

"But........." the lady wanted to say something.

"Now," he said icily. They got up and walked out, but not without her staring at me.

I stared into his office without looking at him. I felt him get up from his seat.

"Look at me." He said . I stared at his face, his eye color flickering.

Green and gold color, he is trying to control his wolf

He clenched his fist and stared at me

The space suddenly becomes unbearable with the heat between us. I'm attracted to him, the urge to jump into his manly arms was uncontrollable.

He growled and looked away

"Do you think I will accept you?" he said icily. I stared at him confused.

"I know you knew we are mate, you gotta stop pretending nobody's here."

I felt weak, shattered and broken by his statement, I almost cried, but I controlled myself, what do i expect, he can never accept me, he's a king, an alpha king to be precise.

She was angry when the Alpha told them to excuse him how could he, she is his darling, the future Queen Luna, not just a mistress.

She puts her ear to the door and tries to eavesdrop on their conversation.

She suddenly gasped
