Chapter 4

Every eye followed the voice and spotted a teen girl, probably in her seventies. She introduced herself as an Alpha's daughter from the neighborhood pack who came to represent on place of his father. White skin like ice, light blonde hair cascading down, the girl carried a heavenly aura, so different than wolves here. Some even called her ' moon goddess' because of her white skin. But no one knew whether it was the truth or not as she didn't shift yet.

Everyone was awed by the girl's presence who walked forward to make her voice clear very elegantly,

"Ravenwood was cursed to not find their fated mates among werewolves. But Alpha Yuna, you have a vampire mate here. Perhaps, the moon goddess thinks differently for you. We never know what a goddess thinks."

Her words awakened their thoughts. Moon Goddess was the ultimate power holder over werewolves. If she thought about changing the fate of Yuna, this wasn't impossible at all. Even Luna didn't retort her words. When all the guests were whispering to each other, she looked up at the sky to murmur under her breath,

" Goddess, are you showering your blessing on me finally?"

Exhaling, Yuna had another fear across her mind since no wolf of her pack found their mate. Would they accept her mate friend?

The host on behalf of the vampire kingdom tingled his glass to take everyone's attention on him. He exclaimed happily, looking around the crowd,

" It's a happy day for our kingdom. I think this discussion should be kept for later. Let's toast for the king and the new queen!"

Once again, the hallway erupted into thunderous applause along with soothing music, played in the background. But Yuna wasn't at ease especially being consistently watched by Kaden, who didn't even falter his eyes for a second.

Yuna's eyes mingled into the crowd, peering at each corner to find Ryder hereby. She needed him to deliver the news to her pack as she was the Alpha herself. Ryder was gone from the hallway.

Was he outside?

Hesitating, Yuna stepped out to head outside when a pair of strong arms gripped her,

" Running away again?"

Her skin ached in need under his fiery touch. Whipping her head back, she saw Kaden gawking her way, already showing off the claim on mate. She gritted her words out, disappointed to have a vampire mate,

" I have to find my male friend. He needs to check.."

" No!", Kaden refused at once. Stepping closer, he spatted his words out, straight at her face,

" You aren't going near the male. I haven't even marked you yet. I don't want any males around you."

Yuna rolled her eyes and offered to jerk off from his grip,

" Then come with me! I don't mind! It's not like I am going to fuck him."

Such a dirty mouth but he liked it very much!

A malicious smirk appeared on his lips and he snorted breathing into her ears slowly,

" You better not because I will be the only one to fuck you!"

Yuna felt an aching throb between her thighs but she was forced to ignore her feelings. She had better things to focus on now except flirting with her hot mate.

Everything was feeling like a mess inside Yuna's head. She was marching without caring about Kaden whose face held a grim expression. Her eyes searched around the woods to spot, Ryder who was proceeding to walk into the woods.

" Ryder!", her voice stopped him and once, Ryder turned around, his expression sank immediately because Kaden was accompanying Yuna closely. Yuna started speaking as soon as they became closer,

" Ryder! Why did you leave? I need you to take over my pack temporarily."

Ryder blurted scrutinizing his brows at them,

" Why should I? Your mate is a king. He can handle everything or can't he?"

His words were like a cold slap to Yuna who never heard his harsh voice. She concluded the fact that Ryder didn't like her having a mate from a different creature. His words made Kaden angry who had already marched forward to growl at Ryder,

" Why don't we check it ourselves? I am sure that Prince Ryder has the guts to fight with me."

" Who is afraid of you?", Ryder roared back, approaching to join in a fight with Kaden. Wordlessly, Yuna's eyes shifted between them and she was trapped between her friend and mate. Unleashing her wolf power, she squeezed past them and pushed away each other with a growl,

" Shut the fuck up! I don't need help from any of you! I can take care of my pack alone. Just go!"

Shooting another glare at Kaden, Ryder took his leave with a scowl on his face. Yuna breathed in relief finally and turned to walk by herself into the woods. She couldn't bother to be here with her mate when her entire pack was waiting for her.

" Where are you going, Yuna?", Kaden shouted, already getting desperate in fear that she would leave him again. Yuna responded without looking back,

" Going home! My pack needs me!"

There, Kaden was angered over Yuna this time. He was doing everything to please her but all she cared about was her pack. Even this boy, Ryder was so important to her that it made him insanely jealous. Growling in rage, Kaden started dragging her back into the castle, shouting on the way,

" You aren't leaving me ever! You are mine now, YUNA! We can rule it together peacefully."

Yuna yelled back, not liking her stay in this castle,

" Nooo! My pack won't welcome a vampire! Let me go! Kaden! Fuck! Let me go!"

She struggled into his grip, throwing her arms to scratch him but vampires are naturally fast with actions. Kaden caught her throwing arms and went over to throw her on his shoulders,

" Now, you will be tied forever on my bed!"
