chapter 6

Yanna's POV

the days passed quickly, when I gave birth to Jaren but now he is one year old.....now his 1st birthday will be held, and my family and Keisha are currently preparing for my Son's 1st birthday....A another year has passed

I'm here now in my room with Baby Ren, I call him Ren short for Jaren just like how I call his father before..... I used to call Jared Red....hayyyst let's not talk about him anymore

Ren was lying on his bed and playing with a pacifier in his mouth ...... thanks to me and he was obedient

I approached it then picked it up and lifted it into the air so it giggled

"my baby is really cute" I praised him.....I put him on the bed and went to the closet to get his clothes, I approached him and picked him up then went to the bathroom to bathe him

After that, I wrapped him in a towel and laid him on the bed to get his prepared clothes, first I put baby powder on his back, then he dressed him in Jumper-shorts and a t-shirt, then he put on his rubber shoes

after that I looked at him with a smile, his clothes fit him, I picked him up and comforted him a bit, he just giggled when I kissed him on the cheek

for a year since I gave birth to him I must admit it has been a bit difficult, you have to wake up in the middle of the night just to breastfeed him, you have to hold him every time he cries

it was difficult but I managed it with the help of my parents and brother

We left the room while I picked him up then went to the Garden.....mommy decided that we'll have a garden party behind the mansion, many guests have arrived, including my parents friend and business partners

when we reached the garden, my brother immediately met us and carried Jaren

"come to uncle Baby Ren" he said softly making my son smile

In a year, I haven't heard Jaren's words, only when he giggled........ I hope I will be the one to hear his first words

I went to welcome the guests first, I also took their gifts for Jaren and put them on a table

later the Party started, my son was being entertained by the guests and taking pictures....it wasn't long before the guests started leaving the mansion

Baby Ren and I went upstairs to rest, I put him down on the bed because he was sleeping soundly, I went to the bathroom to take a shower then went out again

He was already awake when I caught him and was currently sucking his little fingers ... I came closer and loaded him to be stuffed. It was silent when it stopped and stared at me

the way he stares, it's like I see Jared because they have the same eyes......he blinked as he stared at me then smiled....I couldn't help but pinch his cheek so he giggled

"uhmmd~dda" I was shocked when he suddenly spoke, this was his very first word, it makes my heart melt hearing him speaking even if I dont understand

I took my cellphone from the bedside table and opened the recorder

" speak again baby ,,,,, say Ma-ma " I said smiling , she giggled again

" ahhdda ' he said again

"no its ma-ma" i also repeated

" ahhdda ........ dada " he speaks again which made me stop and stare at him ..... your daddy is good because he was the first one you called

"adada dada dada" she said again and again and giggled, I laid her down and lay down next to him....I caressed his soft hair and smiled.....I turned off the recorder

"You're cheating, son, why is your daddy still here, isn't mom?" I pretended to sulk

"baby say mama" I begged

"da-da" he muttered

I just took a deep breath and started singing to him so he fell asleep

Kandice's POV

It's been a year since Jared and I got back together, a lot has happened during that time

before we were still happy with our marriage but since we got back together again our relationship has become an indifferent relationship

to be honest, I was guilty of what happened, when he and Yanna broke up, Im so stupid to come back to ruin them.....Yanna has a good personality, kind and humble to the point that she gave up her love for Jared for just me

now I have admitted what I really feel for Jared, and you are not the same as before...maybe I loved him but as time goes by it is gone

Today, I have decided to end mediation because it has nowhere to go

I'm here at a luxury restaurant waiting for him, I've been here for a while but he's still not there, later I saw him approaching me while wearing his tuxedo, I'm sure he's from his company....he's now in charge of Cordove GOC, uncle Raymong has passed the company and he is the president and CEO

"sorry Im late" he apologized and was about to kiss me on the cheek but I avoided because he was surprised

" what's wrong ? " he asked but I just shook my head

"then,,, why'd you call me for sudden" was his next question, I was about to speak when the waiter brought out the cakes and drinks I ordered

"enjoy your meal" the waiter said and left.....I tasted it first before looking at him who was now seriously staring at me

I didn't hesitate anymore and he straightened up

"let's end this" I said in a serious tone which made him stiffen

"why" he asks

" Jared cant you see... we are no longer happy and like before" I explained so it was silent

I took a deep breath and continued

"JK I know you still love Yanna .... I know that she has the feelings you used to have for me, I can feel it JK ..... why don't you admit that you love her" I said sadly

"oh come on Kandice, what are you talking about" she disobeyed and looked at me with a disapointed look.....from then on our fight escalated

" you know JK you're a coward, why don't you just admit it because ......JK yes I love you but I don't want you to be trapped in a one sided relationship .....JK I know that every time you sleep she is in you dream" I said so he was silent

"I can hear everything JK, from your sleep you are mentioning her name, I will correct you, I admit that I have lost my feelings for you, maybe this is the right time to correct everything" I said to her, she avoided then looked at me again

"yeah, your'e right.... I really still love her after all" I saw that she was guilty, I held her hand and smiled at her

"if thats the case then chase her, find her and make her yours again" I convinced and there I saw a real smile that I only see once

"thank you for making me realize this thing Kan" he thanked me so I nodded as Response

"from this day start finding her, you know there is someone else" I joked so her face got mixed up

" then I'll rip that bastards neck " tiim he said so I just laughed

"what's up.... Happy break up JK, now go search for her" as I said that he kissed me in the forehead

"thank you, bye" then he started to leave, I know by now he will call his connections to find Yanna, I wish I had done it then

I hope he'll find Yanna as soon as possible
