We Found Love

I was working on a presentation when someone knocked on my door.

"Come in." I said and my assistant entered.

"Sir, you have a meeting at The regal hotels in half an hour." Manav said and I nodded.

"Where are you? We have to leave." I asked calling Samar.

"I'll be there on time. You reach there directly. I am a bit busy right now." He said and hung up I just rolled my eyes.

Busy my foot!

Well, he's my business partner aka best friend Samar Malhotra.

And his I'm a bit busy means he is busy banging some girl.

I sighed and collecting my things I left for the meeting.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Anand." I said taking his hand in for a shake.

"Good Afternoon, Mr. Dixit. Can we proceed?" He asked pointing towards the table.

While I was walking towards our table I heard laughter ringing from a table where a group of people sat. They seemed young and were laughing too carelessly.

But a specific sight caught my attention,

A girl sat there with her hair open and laughing clutching her stomach.

She was not at all laughing in a very elegant way but I don't know why her laughter seemed a lot appealing.

Her hair were carelessly flowing and she didn't care about it. Neither did she care about the fact that all eyes were on her becuase of her laughter.

"What? Don't tell me you are going to get your love at first sight here?" Samar said keeping a hand on my shoulder and I got out of my thoughts.

"Don't talk nonsense. When did I ever say I believe in love at first sight?" I said and took a seat on our table which was beside theirs.

Great coincidence!

As the meeting continued we negotiated about a few terms & conditions and suddenly we heard a loud bang of the table.

"Can you guys just keep it low!" A man said banging on the table where the group of girls sat.

"We're sorry— A girl started but the previous girl who was laughing too loudly just stood up from her chair and interrupted her saying.

"I'm sorry what? Did you just ask us to lower our voices? That too this rudely?" She asked raising her brows very intimidatingly as if hinting him to take his words back.

"Yess! I did." The man said glaring at her.

"Well, then do you know that you don't own this place. And even if you do we aren't here for free." She said rolling her eyes.

"You're such a brat!" The man said to her.

"And you are such a dick!" She said to him with a sweet smile and a chuckle left my lips which I covered embarrasingly with a cough.

"You— the man started but she again interrupted him.

"I am sorry but I don't want to waste my precious time with my friends arguing with you. Especially a man. So fuck off." She said pissed off and sat down on her chair.

Especially a man?

"So, Can I consider this as a deal?" Mr. Anand asked and I was brought out of my session.

"Definitely." Samar said shaking his hand with him and we got up.

"The girl is definitely crazy." I said looking at their table while leaving.

"Wait! Did a girl actually catch your attention? Wowww!" Samar said whistling and turned around to look at her.

"Wooohooo! She's beautiful. No doubt she caught your attention." Samar said teasing me and I just rolled my eyes.

"Beauty. That's all you see." I said rolling my eyes.

"Dude, I am going to enjoy these beauties while I am young." He said.

"And then what after that specific period of time? You will be left alone in your house reminiscing your beauties." I said rolling my eyes.

"Gladly." He said winking.

"Sana, whatever you said was too much." A girl said to the other one who caught my attention.

"Sana." I muttered and Samar whistled.

"You don't seem to get her out of your mind." He said still whistling and I glared at him.

"What do you mean by I said too much? Whatever I said was the truth. He was a dick. I just stated the fact." Sana said shrugging and I was controlling my laugh.

"What am I going to do with you? You and your rude behaviour. On the top of that if it is man then boom, he's downright insulted." The other girl said.

What is it with her and men?

"Neha. Don't lecture me. Whatever I said was very less insulting. I could've said something worst." Sana said.

And a chuckle left from my mouth.

Fuck!

Sana turned around and I just looked at Samar.

"You look funny, today." I said to him with a fake chuckle so that she doesn't catch me eavesdropping.

"Don't cover up, Mr. whatever. I know you were eavesdropping." Sana said and I turned towards her.

She stood there glaring at me looking absolutely fierce.

I seem to be at loss of words!

"He wasn't." Samar said.

"You can't fool me." She said to him with a smirk.

"And you Mr. Richie rich, learn some manners." She said glaring at me and left.

Wait, what?

"Did she just tell me to learn some manners?" I asked.

"Yeah! Now that she left you decided to open your mouth. Otherwise it was taped." Samar said rolling his eyes.

We got out of the hotel and I was entering my car when I saw her standing before a car.

"Ms. I know everything." I called her and she turned around.

"The day you learn manners, I'll definitely try to show you mine." I said chuckling.

"That day is never going to come then." She said and left.

I just smiled standing over there like a fool.

She's something else!

"Aunty, I'm telling you. You need to start looking for potential girls for him. He is gone crazy." Samar said as we entered my home.

"Just shut up, okay. I wasn't behaving crazy at all." I said in my defense.

"Aunty, he was constantly paying attention to a girl in the hotel." Samar said and all the heads turned towards us.

Mom, Aditya (My younger brother), Ishani( My younger sister), bua everyone looked at me shocked.

"That's not possible." Ishani said waving it off.

"Yeah! The impossible happened today!" Samar said.

"Are you sure you're not sick or something?" Adi asked coming towards me keeping his hand on my forhead he checked my temprature.

"Gosh! You guys are reacting too much!" I said rolling my eyes.

"I've heard something like this about you after a whole year. After Kavy— Mom said but Ishani interrupted her saying

"Mom, you're not taking her name over here. Not now atleast. I am happy that Bhai atleast noticed someone today." Ishu said coming and hugging me with a smile.

I encircled my arms around her.

"This is not something to be happy about you know right?" I asked chuckling.

But now my mind was stuck on

Kavya Singhania.

"Ohh bhai now stop thinking about that bit— Ishana started and I glared at her. She quickly shut up.

"How many times have I told you not to use that word? Not about her you shouldn't call any girl by that word." I said glaring at her.

"Okay fine." She said rolling her eyes and left.

"I can never understand you. She did soo wrong with you then too you can never hear anything against her." Samar said.

"Because, I don't like to. That is just not me. My mother has raised me better than this." I said and left.

My mom just smiled at me.

That's what I want.

Her to be happy!
