CHAPTER 1

"Uncle widower, let's get married!" said Amel in her flirtatious style while winking at Raffa.

"What did you say, Short Legs!" Raffa grumbled anxiously, he came closer and poked Amel's forehead.

"Ouch... Uncle Widower, how dare you, no one will want to be Uncle Widower wife," Amel nagged while rubbing her forehead and playing with her lips.

"There, you're asking me to marry you. That means you want to be my wife," said Raffa, annoyed by Amel's lips that kept answering.

"Ihh... so confident! Who asked for marriage, huh... Uncle Widower can't stand it anymore, that's why you're fantasizing," Amel sneered, making Raffa round his eyes and stare at the girl in disbelief.

"You...!" Raffa growled, Amel who began to feel there was danger rushed to her house, not forgetting to stick out her tongue to tease Raffa.

"That little girl, watch out for you," Raffa growled, clenching his fist and then choosing to enter his residence to rest after jogging.

Amel immediately entered the house without knocking on the door, making the mother who was about to go out shaped by the long object. The middle-aged woman snorted at Amel's annoyance. She leaned in with an angry look at Amel, who only grinned.

"What a long time! I was going to follow you, you know," the mother scolded and grabbed the groceries in Amel's hand.

"It's normal mom, I met a widower uncle earlier so it took a bit longer," Amel replied and then went in and landed her butt on the sofa.

"This is you! You're so ignorant, don't make it clear by using that nickname. Call Uncle Rafa, ke, inimah even Uncle Widower," scolded the mother while the one who was advised only grinned.

"It is indeed a widower, Mom. Amel is not wrong," said Amel defending herself, making her mother snort.

"You're so hard to tell! I'd better continue cooking," Sekar said, looking lazily at her son as she stepped into the kitchen to continue the delayed cooking.

"That's what you've been saying, don't comment on my nickname for Uncle Duda," Amel grumbled as she felt her mother leave.

"What are you saying, Amel!" Sekar screeched in a booming voice, causing Arumi to round her eyes and rush into her room to escape her mother's wrath.

"Oh my gosh, Mom's voice just makes me shocked. I'm glad I didn't get sick," Amel complained, rubbing her rapidly beating chest.

"Huh, I better watch Korean dramas," said Amel, throwing her buttocks on the sofa and then starting to watch her favorite movie.

Elsewhere, Raffa chose to do his work in the room. The man even forgot breakfast, he instead filled his stomach with just a cup of coffee. He was making his mother a little annoyed.

"Raffa ... let's have breakfast first," pleaded the mother knocking on the door of her son's room.

"Later, Mom," Raffa refused without opening the door.

"Geez, Raffa, don't push yourself," coaxed the mother trying to open the door which turned out to be locked, making her sigh and then choose to give up.

"Since the divorce, he has become a workaholic like this," complained the mother landing her butt on a chair and looking at her husband and Raffa's younger brother.

"Eh, just match with my friend, Mom. Our next-door neighbors, they're good. Just in case their quarrel raises the seeds of love," suggested Shilla grinning, she imagined that if her brother married his friend it would be fun.

"Ahh ... that's right, right, they've known each other for a long time, even Mom and her mom are close," replied Wulan, making Shilla who was in the middle of imagining fade away and rounded her eyes at her mother's words.

"Mom, you're right, you're accepting a ridiculous proposal, Shilla," said Shilla, causing Wulan to raise her eyebrows and look at her daughter in surprise.

"So what, La. They're good together, and your son is handsome, he still deserves a wife who is the same age as his sister," said Wulan, causing Shilla to pat her forehead, choosing to fill her stomach with food.

"You're weird, La, you're giving advice and now you're saying something ridiculous," Wulan grumbled and devoured her food.

"I miss your father, La. I'll take you there later," Wulan pleaded, making Shilla look up at her mother and nod in agreement, starting to devour her food again.

A week passed, and now it was time for Amel to go to school. Now that it was her graduation day, she was all dressed up with her mother. When she was about to leave, the girl's motorcycle couldn't start, making her very upset.

"Huh, it's such an important event and the motorcycle's not starting!" Amel growled, hitting the seat of the motorcycle.

"What's wrong, Mel? Why did you hit the motorcycle?" asked Sekar as she approached her daughter, who was already dressed to go with her.

"Here, Mom, the bike broke down," Amel complained, landing her butt on the motorbike, a sad look on her face.

"Then come with us, let's go!" someone said, making Amel and her mom turn their heads to the origin of the voice.

"Seriously, Wulan? It's so inconvenient. But thank you very much," Sekar said as she approached Wulan and then turned back to her son who was still sitting on the motorcycle.

"Mel put the bike back. We're going with Aunt Wulan," said Sekar, who was already at the same level as Wulan, standing in front of the fence of the inviting woman's house.

"Yes, Mom," Amel replied, putting the bike away and hurrying over to Sekar and Wulan who were talking and getting into her son's four-wheeled vehicle.

Wulan quickly called Raffa to come out. She exhaled when she heard her son's answer. Finally, he chose to turn off the phone.

"Auntie, where's Shillanya?" asked Amel when she saw Wulan finish calling Raffa, even though she could go in and ask directly Amel was too lazy to think about it.

"Ohh ... Shilla, she already left first with her boyfriend," said Wulan, turning to look at Amel with her lips curled into a smile.

"Ohhh ...." Amel just nodded her head.

"Auntie, why do you keep looking at me," Amel said reprimanding Wulan who kept looking at her.

"No, you're beautiful when you're dressed up like this," Wulan threw out, causing Amel to scratch her head.

"Mom! I'm ready," said someone who had opened the car door making everyone look at him.

"How come you're here," Raffa exclaimed when he saw Amel playing with her cell phone.

"What the hell, you better hurry up. You'll be late," scolded Wulan looking at her son.

"Sekar, I'm annoyed you know, when my son is still happy alone," complained Wulan when the car was already driving, making Raffa turn his head briefly with an annoyed look while Amel sounded about to laugh but he was restrained.

"Let's just marry each other, Wulan," Sekar replied with a small smile, which was returned by Wulan's nod and then the woman turned to look at Sekar.

"Let's marry Amel and Raffa! They look good together. After all, about a week ago, I heard Amel asked Raffa to marry you," said Wulan giving an idea, making Amel round her eyes in surprise while Raffa grinned.
