Part 4

Ashley’s laughter broke when she saw Lucas holding his junior. It also satisfied him with his brave action, twisting junior Lucas until Lucas was in pain.

 “TSK… Why does it hurt, huh? How does it feel? I hope your junior can still stand straight and not experience premature impotence.” Ashley teased Lucas with a chuckle and squinted his eyes, mocking Lucas, who was in pain.

 It annoyed Lucas to see Ashley chuckling and mocking him. He got up from his crouching position and hobbled over to Ashley while holding his junior.

 Seeing Lucas’ movement approaching her, Ashley turned around, trying to run away from Lucas so that Lucas’s tantrums because of his actions would not hit him.

 “Damn it, watch out for you, Ashley. I’ll get back to you.”

 “You think you can retaliate and catch me, Lulu… Look at you walking like a lame chicken,” Ashley sneered, laughing while demonstrating Lucas’ way with his laugh while running towards the door.

 When they reached the door, Ashley opened it and slammed the door very hard and hit Lucas, who was still chasing him

 “Argh…” Lucas groaned just as he was about to leave. Ashley slammed the door shut and hit Lucas’ temple.

 Matthew just got a phone call from the hospital. The doctor who treated his wife said that her condition was getting worse and asked Matthew to come to Italy.

 Matthew massaged the bridge of his nose, which felt dizzy, thinking about his beloved wife and beloved daughter. He must decide on all of this for the good of his family, especially his wife’s recovery, even though he has to keep this a secret from Ashley.

 Yes, Matthew left tomorrow morning. He will inform Ashley about his departure.

 He returned to the mansion and walked towards his study

 Before Matthew could enter his office, Ashley, who came out of his office with a suspicious face, surprised Matthew

 “What are you doing here? Where is Lucas?” asked Matthew.

 Ashley seemed surprised to see her father. She smiled at her father and showed her white teeth.

“Hi, Daddy is back. I thought Daddy would be gone a long time.”

 Matthew frowned, looking at Ashley, who was still smiling at him.

 “It seems you don’t like it when Daddy is here,” answered Matthew, intimidating Ashley, and he felt strange for his daughter, who was still holding the doorknob.

 Ashley felt nervous seeing her father’s gaze. Over that was a little intimidating to her. “It’s not like that, Daddy,” answered Ashley, trying to convince her father

 “Then, why did you come out, have you guys?.”

In appearance, Lucas cut Matthew’s words off coming out of his study.

 “What’s wrong uncle said my name” asked Lucas, who came out of Matthew’s study after Lucas heard his name being called

 “By coincidence, you came out. Uncle just wanted to go inside. There is something Uncle wants to convey to you two. Come in,” Matthew asked Lucas and Ashley to enter his study again. Matthew entered his office, and a followed by Lucas and Ashley.

 Lucas and Ashley came in and sat next to each other on the same couch.

 “What will Daddy say” without preamble, Ashley immediately asked her father. Ashley did not want to linger in the room with a crazy man like Lucas.

 “What solution did you get earlier? After Daddy left, you both”

 Suddenly, it took them both by surprise. Matthew looked at them both. Waiting for one of them to answer.

 Ashley proceeded to Lucas, who wanted to answer. “Lucas wants to replace my car with a new one, and I’m free to choose whatever car I like,” Ashley answered without thinking about what he said first.

 Of course, Ashley’s answer astonished the two men of different ages, especially Lucas. Lucas had very surprised to hear Ashley’s narrative. Lucas did not believe Ashley could say that to him and his father.

 In his heart, Lucas cursed Ashley. “Damn, if it’s not the child of my father’s best friend, I’ll make sure I kick that girl from this earth,” Lucas glanced at Ashley with an annoyed look.

 Ashley smiled with satisfaction at Lucas’ reaction, who had very surprised and annoyed at his words.

 Matthew watched the two of them, especially his daughter, Ashley, who smiled contentedly at Lucas. Matthew did not believe his daughter’s words, let alone see Ashley smiling mockingly at Lucas.

 Don’t want to bother with their problems. Matthew finally ended the minor dispute between Lucas and Ashley. Even though there was no commotion, Matthew could already judge their gazes on both of them.

 “Are you two going to continue staring at each other like that?” Matthew asked, ending the gazes of the two of them. Both of them turned hearing Matthew’s words.

 “There’s something I want to talk to you both about. I don’t want to see you two face to face like that,” Matthew said after they refocused on him.

 “What do you want to say, Daddy?” Ashley asked curiously.

 “Daddy hopes you don’t scream after you hear Daddy’s words.”

 “Come on, Daddy, don’t piss me off.”

 With one breath, Matthew also expressed his intention. “Tomorrow morning, Daddy has to go to Italy, and you have to stay at Lucas’s place until Daddy comes to pick you up. Lucas will take care of you as long as Daddy is not beside you.”

 “So I have to stay somewhere…What? Can Daddy say it one more time, or my hearing is wrong? Daddy said I’m going to live with the crazy guy beside me,” Ashley gasped when her dad said the crazy guy’s name. Put her in a bad mood. Event, Ashley remembered the time Lucas had kissed her in this room.

 “You heard that right honey, Daddy has already discussed it with Lucas, and Lucas has agreed,” said Matthew, glancing at Lucas to help him speak.

“Why do I have to live with this crazy man, Daddy? I don’t want to,” replied Ashley, firmly. Ashley refused her father’s wishes.

 This attitude of Ashley’s refusal made Matthew dizzy, plus Lucas, who crashed into Ashley’s new car, made Ashley dislike Lucas.

 After much thought, Matthew founded a way to get Ashley to stay with Lucas. “Okay, Daddy doesn’t mind as long as you put all the things you use, plus the two black cards you hold.”

 There is no other choice. Matthew said he would take all of Ashley’s facilities, which Matthew gave to Ashley, and Matthew believed his daughter wouldn’t be able to live without the facilities Matthew gave her.

 It surprised Ashley to hear her father’s threat. In her heart, Ashley cursed her bad luck today.

 Meanwhile, Lucas had satisfied to see the look on Ashley’s face, which turned into annoyance towards his father, especially at himself.

 “No more refusals, and remember our agreement this morning honey,” Matthew confirmed to his daughter Ashley, and reminded Ashley of the agreement between him and her daughter, Ashley.

 It forced Ashley to say yes, his father’s words. It was useless to refuse if his father had threatened to withdraw all his facilities, especially his flagship black card.

 “Tomorrow morning, you had to stay with Lucas, and today you can pack the things you need there, Daddy hopes you don’t make a mess, and remember don’t go to the club without Lucas knowing,” Matthew added his words again and emphasized Ashley, so Ashley didn’t make a mess when Ashley didn’t live with her but with someone else

 Hearing her father’s chattering made Ashley even more fed up when Lucas mocked her with a satisfied smile.

 Ashley really wanted to tear Lucas to pieces and throw him into Antarctica or throw him off planet Earth or send him to Mars, so Ashley wouldn’t see Lucas’ annoying look in his eyes.

 After making sure Ashley accepted his request, Matthew ushered Lucas out of his study, leaving Ashley still visibly upset by his decision.

 Lucas just nodded his head in agreement. He went to follow Matthew from behind. When Lucas glanced at Ashley, Lucas got an angry look from Ashley. Lucas also asked Matthew to wait outside for a while.

 “Uncle, can you wait for me outside? I have something important I want to tell your daughter,” Lucas asked Matthew. Matthew just smiled at Lucas as an answer.

 Getting approval from Matthew, Lucas approached Ashley, and Lucas closed the door to the room without locking it.
