Session 3

Today seemed like a bright morning so I decided to grab a cup of latte hoping my first session will not be terrible like yesterday.

"Good morning Eunice" I greeted my receptionist at the front desk, "Good morning doctor, how your night" she asked.

"Fine and yours" I replied, "same here ma'am, Ms Sandra is in the waiting room" she said

"This early?" I said a little surprised, "okay then let her in" I said

Few minutes later Sandra walked in "wow you look stressed Sandra" I told her noticing her facial expression.

"You definitely got that right" she said taking a seat.

"So what's the problem?, Is it Chris?" I asked a little concerned cause they are my favourite couple.

"I think Chris is cheating on me" she replied deadpanned, wow was the first thing I wanted to utter out but decided to do a better justice than that.

"Why do you think so?" I asked curiously. "Well he's been acting strange" she replied.

"That statement doesn't justify anything" I tell her point blank.

"I can't seem to know where he's going or what he's doing anymore" she cried out

"You can't keep on trying to be his shadow forever sandra" I muttered

"What do you mean? you don't get it do you, it's a feeling you can't deny. The feeling to make him happy, to spend time and make memories, make sure you don't miss any of his daily details and many more Dr. Vanessa" Sandra replied drastically.

Frustrated, i shouted "what happens when the humanly attitude start, he loves you yes I know, what happens when the calls reduce and the messages do the same. He might be the love of your life but he is human and you and I both know that at one point these things tend to happen"

"Well it has damn well started happening, and one minute I already have the words to speak volume on my frustration but then that piece in me just says he might be busy and I let my words go gently" Sandra said trying to control the tears.

Wrapping her hands around Sandra i whispered "you can give him space and still love him, you don't have to be his shadow physically at least you can be that emotionally Sandra"

Sandra smiled "I guess I found a therapist and a friend, top notch deal innit".

"I guess I can second to that" I said chuckling.

"So are you and Alice still up for the club tonight" she asks me.

"Alice is definitely down, couldn't stop talking about it through out the night, but it depends when I get off work but I'll try to come" I tell her.

"You better do" she says wagging her nails at my face warningly, "Have a great day" she said walking out" "you too" I replied.

Ringing the phone of the front desk after two rings Eunice picked up "next appointment please" then I end the call

Finished pretty late but I knew if I didn't go to the club the girls will not let me hear the end of it.

Searching for Alice in the crowd then i found her, I walk forward in my work clothing thank goodness I decided to wear a gown today.

Greeting them and laughing for a couple of minutes I decided to get myself a drink or possibly shots.

"Well I see you managed to follow orders," I heard a man say but I want even trying to pay attention to my surrounding at the moment.

"Would you mind giving me shots of vodka and lime alongside?" I ask giving my order

"Yes Ma'am"he nods and I wait back against the bar

"Hey pretty" the man who spoke earlier said to me moving closer to where I stood

"Your shots"The bartender says and I grab the tray.

"Can I buy you a drink" he says again, has this guy ever heard of personal space and I've definitely gotten myself shots already.

So I just walked away

"HEY"he shouts stopping me and I turned to give him a peace of my mind

"What's your name?"he asked. "Vanessa... Doctor Vanessa 'I then began to walk back to my friends table
