Luna's POV
I wasn't supposed to come this far into the weeds well, nobody was. Somehow, he managed to lead us into the wolf hunters territory.
As he kept running, I waited behind and spoke to them because I knew there was no way he was leaving that woods alive.
“What are you doing here, Luna?" Harper, the leader of the hunters asked.
“He is a new kid and I need to take him back home. He doesn't know the rules, he doesn't know that he isn't supposed to be here." I said.
“Does your dad know about this?" He inquired.
“Of course, he does. He sent me after him." I told them.
I know it was a lie, but it was technically not a lie because my dad actually knew I ran after someone, he only didn't know the someone neither does he know we were headed to the woods.
“I need to speak to your father, he needs to be reminded of our boundaries. Take care of your rogue and leave here." Harper stated.
“Yes sir." I whispered and ran after him again.
I think he might have thought he lost me, so he was walking slowly and frustrated from all the running he caused me, I jumped on him and landed him to the ground.
“What's your problem?" I asked, standing up from the ground.
He quickly got up. “What's my problem? My problem is the fact that I need to be gotten rid of." he replied.
I laughed hard. “Who is looking to get rid of you? My dad doesn't even know about you. I was just about to tell him about you when you took off." I said.
He sighed and looked at me. “But wait, you guys are packs of wolves?" He asked.
“Yes, and I'll tell you about it on our way back. Right now, we need to leave here, this place is not safe." I told him and grabbed him by his hand.
“I'm not a baby." he complained about me grabbing his hand.
I turned to him. “Well, you've been acting like one." Then, turned back to my direction and continued walking.
“What's your name?" I asked him.
“Talon... Talon Smith." he replied.
“Okay, Talon. My name is..."
“Luna." we both said, and both smiled.
“Okay. I belong to the night-howl pack and my father, Gorus Andrea is the alpha and my brother Marcos Andrea is the heir. The night-howl pack is one of the six werewolf packs, some of the other packs are our rivals. That path of the forest you crossed is the wolf hunters territory and we are not supposed to be seen there." I explained.
“Wow! That's alot to take in." Talon replied, smiling.
“So, what about you? What's your story?" I asked.
The smiling on Talon's face quickly dried off. “I don't want to talk about it. All you need to know is that, I was trying to commit suicide when you found me in the river." he said.
I was shocked, I let go of his hand and stopped walking. “Why were you trying to kill yourself?" I inquired.
“I said, I don't want to talk about it." Talon yelled and immediately his eyes turned blue.
I sensed he was angry and one thing I discovered was that he was a werewolf.
“Okay, okay. Let's just get home." I stated, calmly to ease his anger and we both headed back to the house.
We got to the house and I presented him to my father.
“Dad, this is Talon," I pointed at Talon as I introduced him to my dad.
It was very obvious that Talon was nervous, so I went close to him and held his hand. I don't blame him, if I was him I'd be scared of my dad too.
"Oh, Talon. The one that ran away earlier?" My dad said, jokingly.
Talon gave a soft smile.
"Sorry sir, I got the wrong impression of the conversation I heard." Talon said.
"I'll want to know how you got here or how my daughter found you." My dad said.
Knowing that Talon didn't want to talk about his situation, I quickly cut in on my dad.
"Yes, dad. You guys can talk about it later, but now he needs to know if he is welcomed, so he can take a bath and get allocated to a room."
Talon was mute for the most part of the conversation and all he did was kept on moving his head in approval to whatever I said.
"Okay, he can stay. I'll approve since my daughter chose you because I already denied her of something, but just don't lead my daughter into trouble or drag trouble with you to this house. And we will talk about how you found each other when you are ready." My dad explained.
"Yes sir." We both replied and turned to walk away.
As we tried to walk away, Marcos came walked into my dad's room and dragged Talon back into the room.
"What's wrong with you, Marcos?" I asked, with a frown on my face.
"What are you doing, Marcos?" My dad asked too.
"I sniffed him from the corridor." Marcos said and punched Talon.
"Marcos stop!" I yelled, as I tried to walk into the scene.
"Hold on." My dad said and I stood down.
Marcos kept punching Talon till he shifted.
As he shifted, his claws out, eyes glowing blue, and he howled.
"See? He is not a full wolf, he can't be here." Marcos stated.
Talon in shock or scared, I think. Quickly shifted back to his human form.
I was shocked too, when I saw his eyes glow earlier, I just thought he was like us.
Wolves like that were not to be trusted because they would always have a soft spot for their human side. Not that we hate humans, but we couldn't risk them being around us.
"We don't even know how he got here, we don't know if he is here to spy on us or whatever, but he is not a full wolf and he can't be here." Marcos insisted.
