chapter 3

[Serena's point of view]

"Serena sweetie you're the happiness of our family. So Daddy will promise you that he will do everything to protect you. He will not let anyone to hurt you my princess."

Since I was born in this world my father showered me with love and happiness. I'm a papa's girl. We plan that my last dance will be on my 18th birthday.

Because my father is not just my father. He's also my knight in shining armor and my first prince.

How can I accept his deal if I know my father's life is at stake "I-i can't do that, pl-please do something else.." I looked at him begging.

Hoping that he will change his mind and let me go. I know his target is people sitting in the government, but Daddy.

He's a good man. He never stole the people's money. He never showed bad behavior or hurt people.

That's why I don't understand why this criminal wants to kill him too.

"Nah nah nah. I want your dad's life and even if you dont help me I can kill him in just a blink of an eye." I couldn't say anything anymore because I quickly started choking and looked at my two hands that I couldn't move because of the handcuffs that pulled them.

Even my neck hurt because of the sudden tightening of the handcuffs here. It was as if I had become a stone that could not move.

Exodus was holding a small knife when he faced me. He grinned devilishly and I quickly bit my lip when he used that thing to cut the skin on my arm into small pieces.

"You really have a soft skin little mermaid." he whispered praise as he continued to injure me. "S-stop pl-please..i-it hurts.." I could barely see because of the tears in my eyes.

I never thought I would experience all this. I know that tonight I will die.

My body will be on the news tomorrow because I will be among the people killed by this shameless criminal.

I'm weak and I feel like I'm going to run out of blood from what he's doing because after he finished wounding my arms, he went to my leg.

He grabbed my leg but I gathered my strength to kick him which he immediately let go. He tightened his grip on it and was about to bring his knife closer when he stopped.

He dropped the knife he was holding before caressing my leg. I was shocked by what he was doing until he lowered his head and smelled it.

"You smell so good." He continued to smell it while I was shaking in my place.

"Ok since I love your creamy legs I'll spare this." he still kissed it with small kisses before letting it go. I immediately put my thighs together because I was already exposed to what he did when he separated from them.

Apart from the thin clothes I was wearing, I was only wearing undies.

I thought he was about to shake me and leave but I couldn't help but stop when he put a hose on the glass I was standing on.

I don't know where he will use it, but my question was answered when it released water.

"W-what are you doing?" I stammered. "You're a mermaid so you need a water right?"

Water? I was stunned by the smell of alcohol coming out of the hose and not water.

My eyes widened quickly as I guessed what he planned to do. He filled my body with wounds and put alcohol on the glass, which turned out to be an aquarium.

He plans to soak my wounds in alcohol which will cause extreme pain to me and my body.

"Oh. You're scared?" I swallowed one after another. For the first time I felt so angry that I was able to look at him badly even though I was scared.

"I wish you will rot in hell you devil!" I can not do it anymore. If he continues to torture me I will just ask him to kill me.

"Don't worry little mermaid, hell is my palace because I'm more evil than Lucifer." he gave me a smile again. The aquarium completely filled with water and he dropped my hands into them.

I closed my eyes because I didn't want to see him. I don't want to see that devil's face when I die.

Daddy, Mommy, Brothers and Haru. I love you all so much. I'm sorry if I wasn't able to say goodbye to you, if only I had known I would have told and made you feel how much I love you.

A tear fell from my eye before the darkness engulfed me again.

Why? Why am I still alive? As soon as I opened my eyes, that's what I immediately asked myself.

Why hasn't he killed me yet? Why am I still breathing? Is he really going to torture me a lot before suffocating me?

I have been imprisoned here for three days. He still tortures me and treats me like an animal.

The only difference is that I'm no longer in the aquarium but I'm on the ground and I'm handcuffed around my neck like a dog.

Chapter 5

I'm already weak because apart from my wounds that are full of pain and have not been treated yet, my stomach is also growling from hunger.

He only feeds me once a day. I don't seem to have a voice anymore because he makes me drink water and I feel like it runs out immediately every time I cry.

I was stunned for a moment when I heard the door open. From there I could hear his heavy footsteps approaching me.

"Eat." he ordered authoritatively before dropping a tray containing food in front of me.

I immediately wiped my tears before slowly sitting up and looking at him "B-why haven't you killed me yet? P-kill me now." I seem to be whispering because my voice seems to be exhausted.

I saw his lips rise again because of what I said. I just noticed that he was also holding a cigarette.

He smoked in front of me while looking at me hard with his red eyes.

This is actually the first time I've ever seen a red eye. I can't even imagine that such an eye color exists.

"It seems like just last night you were scared to death. Tell me little mermaid, do you really want me to kill you?" I was still stunned when he spoke Tagalog.

From his looks and speaking English, he seems to have a race, so it never occurred to me that he could speak English.

"If you're just going to make me suffer, just kill me, I-I'd rather that than being with or seeing a demon like you every day." I don't know where I got the strength to say that to him despite my fear.

But I thought this is the end of my life, so I'll be with you for a while.

The smile on his lips disappeared and his aura seemed to get heavier. I immediately stepped back and gasped as he quickly came to me and grabbed my arm hard.

He held it tightly causing me to scream because of the pain. I have so many wounds that he is also responsible for. Now with the tightness of his grip, my wounds that are still bleeding are being pressed.

"Don't worry I'll really go to kill you but before that I'll kill your father first so that the two of you will go to hell together." he pulled out a gun from his pants.

I thought he was going to shoot me in the head but I only screamed when I felt the impact on my neck after he shot it there.

I almost lost consciousness when the handcuff fell on my neck because it was damaged by the shot he made.

He quickly pulled me upright before we walked out of the basement. I immediately started crying while crying.

When I was sitting for a long time, it was difficult for me to walk because my knees seemed to be stiff.

I couldn't take it anymore that's why I sat down because of the pain "D*mn! Stand up." his order is full of emphasis. I looked up before shaking my head.

"Hi-I can't." I agree. I don't know what his reaction was behind his mask, but I was quickly surprised when he sat down before the groom carried me.

I just looked at him in shock but his eyes were only focused on the road.

We are inside a big mansion. But even though it's big, you won't see anything because apart from a sofa and TV in the living room, you won't see anything else.

You won't even see helpers or guards. I'm still trying to ask them for help, but if there is, will they help me?

I'm a captive of their demon boss so maybe even if there is an assistant here, they won't be able to help me escape.

Demon and I entered one of the rooms here. The big room with its own balcony opened up.

A large white bed and a few things. The demon approached one of the doors before suddenly releasing me.

I moaned because of the pain in my ass when he suddenly let go of me. He is really bad.

He knew that my body was in a lot of pain but he still acted like I was a stone without feelings.

"Go take a bath." he ordered coldly while staring at me. He also opened the bathroom door so I saw that there was still a bath tub inside.

"W-what exactly are you planning?" why did he bring me here? Why is he bathing me? Yes, I know I smell bad because I smell blood, but won't he kill me too?

Why do I need to take a shower?

"Just obey me, you don't want if I f*cking get mad again." what he said seemed like I should really be scared, that's why even though I was struggling with the situation, I forced myself to get up to take a shower.

When I entered the bathroom, I quickly leaned against the door before crying and hugging myself.

I'm so scared that I don't want to go out from where I am now. Daddy said he will protect me?

He said he won't let go of his only princess? But why until now no one is helping me? Why am I still here?

Is there really no hope? Should I really accept that I will die at his hands?

I stood up trembling before taking off all my clothes. I got into the bath tub and the water seemed to turn into blood because of my wounds.

Every time I scratched them little cries came out of my mouth.

They mommy didn't let my skin have a small wound. It's worth taking care of, but the skin I've taken care of for a long time was quickly destroyed by that man.

I closed my eyes before resting my head on the tub.
