Chapter 4

Velove arrived at Richard's Star Entertainment office precisely at nine in the morning. Upon arrival, the receptionist immediately escorted her to Richard's office.

Richard warmly greeted Velove. Standing up, he politely invited her to sit on the sofa.

"Thank you so much for agreeing to my offer, Velove. To be honest, Rayyen's scandal has given me quite a headache."

Velove smiled, understanding Richard's frustration. It must be incredibly stressful dealing with numerous questions and media reports about Rayyen's scandal, especially since he is currently in the limelight. A single misstep in his statements could ruin the good reputation he's worked so hard to build.

"I should be the one thanking you," Velove responded. "You should know, Richard, I'm a huge fan of Rayyen. Just talking to him yesterday made me so nervous that I dreamt about it all night."

Richard laughed, amused by Velove's honest confession. For some reason, he felt that the girl in front of him was genuinely nice and would be beneficial to work with in the future.

"Well, we both benefit from this arrangement. What makes me even more impressed is that you can defend yourself. That means if Rayyen ever faces danger again like last night, you can help protect him."

The two engaged in light conversation for a while until, a few minutes later, Rayyen finally arrived. The man, wearing sunglasses, took a seat directly opposite Richard.

"Hurry up, Nick, where's the contract? I don't have much time today. You know I have to read the script and then shoot until late," Rayyen complained.

As a rising star, Rayyen's schedule was indeed packed every day, with almost no breaks or days off to enjoy. Even if he wanted to relax, his time was limited.

"Calm down a bit, Ray. Besides, I need to explain this contract to both you and Velove first."

"Alright, just read and explain it now. Aren't you the one always reminding me to be punctual?"

Richard then grabbed the contract documents he had prepared. He took out two sheets of paper and handed them to Rayyen and Velove.

"You both can read through the contents and the key points. If there's anything you disagree with or want to add, just speak up."

**Contract Agreement between Rayyen Maximus and Velove Sharon**

1. The relationship contract will last for six months. If an extension is needed, the male party must confirm one month in advance.

2. Both parties must behave like a normal couple when in public.

3. Both parties must be friendly and maintain good chemistry with each other.

4. The female party must be available to accompany the male party whenever needed.

5. This arrangement must remain confidential.

6. Neither party should interfere in each other's personal affairs.

7. No physical contact of any kind is allowed. Violations will result in a fine as agreed upon.

8. Neither party should be seen being affectionate with others in public, which could cause a scandal or speculation.

9. If either party decides to terminate the agreement before the specified time, they must pay double the initial fee.

Rayyen and Velove seriously read through each clause, digesting and understanding the key points they must adhere to during the contract period.

"I'm personally okay with all the points in the contract," Rayyen said, still focused on the document.

"What about you, Velove?" Richard inquired, curious if she had any objections or revisions.

"I'm the same as Rayyen, Richard. There's nothing that needs to be changed or revised."

"So, you agree with all the points in the contract?"

Velove nodded confidently. Everything written seemed manageable for her. She was sure she wouldn't resign, which would require her to pay a hefty penalty of one billion rupiahs.

"I agree," she stated firmly.

"In that case, please sign the document you're holding."

Richard handed two pens to Rayyen and Velove, waiting for them to sign, then he collected the documents to have them notarized.

"Is everything done now?" Rayyen asked. "If there's nothing else, I'll head to the filming location."

Richard nodded, allowing Rayyen to continue his activities. But before he left, Richard reminded him of one last thing.

"Don't forget, Ray. You have a press conference tomorrow. Don't be late."

Rayyen nodded, then left, leaving Richard and Velove alone in the room to finalize the payment process.

"Velove," Richard called. "Here's a 500 million check. You can cash it anytime. Please take it and keep it safe."

Velove immediately accepted the check from Richard and quickly stored it in her bag.

"Thank you so much, Richard. If there's anything I need to do, just call me."

"Of course. Don't forget, tomorrow afternoon or evening, you need to be ready for the press conference. I hope you'll prepare yourself. I'll send some important information for you to study so you don't make any mistakes when answering the reporters' questions."
