Chapter 1

Yell here, yelp there, yelp here all over the court. Everyone is cheering on the boys' basketball team. The sport fest is going on now so different schools are competing now.

"Go my boys! You can do it! There's still plenty of time. You can do it!"

I covered my ears because of the loudness of the scream of the person next to me here on my left, she is Valorie Esperanza we call her Val. He is the loudest in our group.

"Can we eat?" Val's suggestion. "You should feed because the winner is the winner."

"Of course, we got tired of cheering you on so you should feed us." Tyra agreed.

"If you want to eat, let's go. My treat." Kyler said. I looked at him but immediately looked away because he was still holding Shiela's arm.

"Let's go!"

"Someone to feed!" My friends said happily.

Val grabbed me and pulled me next to him. Shiela was also pulled by it. "I'll tell you something later." Here to us.

"Get it." Val said with a smile.

I just smiled and listened to what Val was saying.

Someone called me turned around. I held my head because it hurt from waking up suddenly.

"Just until there?" Tyra asked.

Kyler's eyebrows met. "Yeah, is there anything else? Come on, don't think about anything." He said. Does he not like Shiela?

"Fucking shit!" Ken was so cheap that we turned to him, he was shocked while looking at his cell phone.

We heard the bell ring so they stood up, we said goodbye to the three boys because they were in another section.

"Can I sleep with you later?" Shiela asked me as we headed to our classroom.

"Of course." I consent. "Did something happen again?" I will ask.

"Mommy and I had a fight." This is it. "I want to buy something, a newly released bag. It's so beautiful, I don't want to buy it." It said.

I closed my eyes. "Shiela, not everything you want can be bought, maybe your mommy can't afford the price." I said. It's always like this because when he sleeps with us, he and his mommy are sure to fight and the only reason they fight is the unsatisfied wishes of this friend of mine.

I always tell Shiela not to spend too much especially if she won't use it, but she is stubborn. If he wants something, he has to give it immediately because otherwise he won't talk to you or he will get angry with you.

Shiela stretched and yawned more. He straightened up when he saw Ma'am Ysay in his carapace now.

"Woke up to chat." Val said loudly that's why our classmates teased Shiela.

Wait...couldn't he be chatting with Kyler? Because Kyler said earlier that he stayed up late...so it means he's the one he's chatting with?

"Stop it! Stop it!" Our teacher is loud. "Are you still proud that you stayed up late because of your chat? If I were you, I would think that I have work the next day so I would go to bed early! Try to sleep again, minus points for me, you're flirting." Ma'am Ysay said annoyed.

Why is it so annoying? Is he bitter or does he have a crush?

"The exam is coming up, you're about to graduate, so I hope you take your studies seriously and don't think about having a boyfriend." He said and continued writing on the blackboard.

We looked at each other as friends and shrugged at the same time.

"Don't get angry when I tell you." I said to Shiela who was already lying on my bed. He went straight to the house, he didn't come home to them. It's really good that he has clothes here.

"Don't worry, I won't be angry." He said while busy on his cellphone. I've been talking about this for a while now, I told him to negotiate and apologize for what he said to his mommy.

He listens to what is said but he does not follow it. He is really stubborn, but even so, I love him very much.

I stood next to him and peeked to see what he was looking at on his phone because he was smiling.

"Did you see Kyler's new post? He's so handsome." He said it excitedly. He showed me Kyler's picture. He is really handsome. I haven't seen that yet because I haven't opened yet.

"You really like him what?" I asked him.

It nodded. "I'm already in love with him, and I think he also likes me because of his actions. He just won't admit it." It said. It leaned on my shoulder. "I will do everything just to get him, you know me if I want something I get it." It said.

He straightened up and looked at me. "Promise me that you won't fall in love with him." It told me.

I was speechless for a while. I laughed so hard. "What are you doing, I can't fall in love with him. I'm just a friend there.." I said almost in a whisper.

"It should be." It said. Because when you become a rival to a man, let's forget about it." He said.

I swallowed.

It's really serious. The only pain is that she can forget our friendship for the man. All right, for him, I'll forget about my feelings for Kyler. I don't want to break our friendship with Shiela. I don't want to lose him because we've been friends for years.

I don't have any hope for Kyler either, so I'll just give him to Shiela.
