Chapter 4

The Rumor

Theirs a lot of students in the canteen but at the back part no one tried to step their or should I say to take a sit, they seemed afraid in something? Is that reservation? Theirs a lot of questions that keep coming to my mind. Why they are be treated like this ok given that they are kind so they are respected and because of the position so the students are scared to them. But if you fought with them, they will not just back out when you hit them. Because they will fight back in any way.

But I can sense that they still something  hide from me. I stop thinking when I realized that  we reached the part where there were no students, Renzyl and Kathy sit immediately as we arrive, Liam followed as if he was used to it, I remained standing.

"Hey? Stella its not bad to sit" Kathy joked so I just sat down because its also awkward to stand up for long. "Why do students seem to avoid this part" I asked out of curiosity.

"You don't know much Stella, but because you ask me too I will feed your curiosity" Kathy started at me intensely as if she saying to me listen carefully, I just nodded as my response.

"Because this is the place for highest students, famous or otherwise have responsibilities to take off because if you come here without permission, if you are just an ordinary students you will receive a corresponding penalty from the owner for violating the rules of the university for sure your not going to like it and beside who would right? That's why no one has guts to violate the rules of the school, and someone also said that no one ever seen the owner of this university. Took a long time to investigate this school because they said the owner of this university is so powerful and ruthless, you know what they said that he can kill without even being imprisoned and he was freaking rich, he can also buy of a country without any hardship, so even if you see the students here how rude and shameless they are but no one tried to violate the law of the school because they still do not wants to disappear like what happen to others"

I couldn't speak for what I even heard. For a months I studied here but I don't even know or heard about that. How naive I am for not even bother me to asked about this. Hmm maybe because the months passed I don't cared about the issue or something not related to me, I will not know everything if Kathy did not tell me. So if I don't asked Kathy I will not know this until I graduate huh?

"And one more thing Stella. McCarty will know if who is violate the law because they a lot of eyes here. Were even don't know if who is their spy. McCarty has a lot of spy here we don't know if it is one of us.

I shocked when Liam engage to our conversion. "You know what Stella do not scare your self to much. It is just a rumor that no one can prove if it is true" Liam explain. So Liam knew about this? If I not mistaken he was a newbie here.

"And beside rumor is a rumor we don't know if they are making a story just make the student follow the rules and its not true that no one can seen the owner of the university, because I'm the living proof I already seen the owner right Liam?" And she looked at Liam. "And beside Kathy too, she already see the owner even Eleanor and Shyryl right Kathy?" What? "So why you need to tell that rumor to Stella? You just scared her. You know the rumor was opposite how they describe the owner because he was a goo-" Liam cut her.

"Just don't believe in rumor. An accusation without evidence is just pure assumption" Liam assured me I just nodded because I couldn't speak, she just scaring me and I just let her scared me the heck.

"Oh here just eat" I looked to them their are eating. So they buy a foods while were busy talking about that rumor without I notice because my whole attention was on Kathy. "How do you known Liam?" I asked without thinking but when they stopped eating and they looked at me that the time I realize as if I care if they known each other or not. How stupid are you Stella

"You don't need to answer yu-" I withdraw what I just say earlier but Renzyl cut me off. "Because our parent they are in one circle of friends, you know they are business partners too" Renzyl answer. "Ah. Ok" I just reply. To transparently that I cared. "By the way Stella are you free today?" Liam asked me.

"Yes. Why?" I asked out of curiosity. "Can I invite you in our house, their are a party arrange by Andrei for my welcome back party. If it is ok to you?" Liam shyly invite me, for sure all of his guest was a rich people and beside I don't have to wear.

"You know what Stella don't think to much because we attending the party too and I am the one who can take care of what you wear on" Kathy engage as if she was reading my mind "I'm the one who put a make up on you and also who fix your hair. So were not take no for an answer" Renzyl demand.

"Ok fine. This is will be the first time I will go into the party" this is will be one of the best memories I we'll be shared with them so who I am to spoil the moment. 'Then good to see you later girls. I have to go I need important to do" Kathy said before she leave.

After class we decide go to the house of Kathy I call to my parents and I told them that I just need to finish my thesis. This is my first time to lie in parents but I promise to my self this is the last and besides this is my first time go to into a party.

After they dressed me and fix my make up and do my hair we decide to go in the event. As I expected a huge and elegant like Kathy's house. Liam approach us when he see us coming.

"Good evening beautiful" Liam greet me. "So you only see Stella huh? Were here Liam on earth" Kathy said in doleful. "Oh my bad. I'm sorry girls by the way you look so great specially Stella, you look lovely in that dress it really suit in you but you are an eye catcher by wearing that" Liam said that make me blushed. "You know Liam if you don't want to have a black eye in no time You should stop that" Renzyl warned him.

They just laugh but, I'm so nervous I really felt ashamed because I'm not belong in this place. "Stella are you ok? You look pale?" Renzyl worried asked. I just nodded as my reply.

"Your nothing to ashamed off because you don't know how georges you are" he snaked his arm to my waist that send me a heat, I smelled the alcohol and mint to him. As we entered their mansion, I shyly step at the carpet because it might I messed up.

"What's wrong?" Liam asked me. "I'm f-fine" I answer. Renzyl step closer to us. "Lets go at the back, Stella doesn't want to a crowded places. It is ok to you Liam?" Renzyl asked Liam good to know Renzyl know me well because if I Socialize with them I might collapsed in so nervous. "Ok. Lets go"

When we arrived to the part was not crowded people, we sit on the sofa their is a coffee table in the front. "What do you want?" Liam asked me. "Anything" I answer when he looked at me. "Yeah. Anything" Renzyl answered too.

"Ok just give me a second" before he go, he give me a pecked a kiss in the cheek, that's make me blushed when he go that was the time I breathe proper.

For just a kiss he can my breathe take away. It is possible?

And why my heart beat so fast?

What that kiss for? Is he just a drunk?
