AMARA'S legs turned into jelly so she leaned against the door until she fell down on the cold floor. She suddenly felt the rage that was ready to come out from her insides. She's mad, too mad actually. Her heart beat fast and her blood boiled in anger. How the hell could he do this to her? Just... how the hell?! He just locked her inside the four corners of this room, for Pete's sake!
And where does he get his guts to act like he owns her?! He's just a mere stranger to her! That thicked-face man!
Amara tried to look at her surroundings once again, hoping that she could find a solution to get out. She needs to think quickly because she needs to escape as soon as possible. There's something in that man that she couldn't resist and that's really dangerous for her. He's just... too gorgeous for her and she's afraid that if she'll stay here longer, her heart will be at stake.
And then, she saw the veranda. She smirked when she realized that it was open, that's why the cold wind was freely entering the room.
Amara suddenly thought that that man is so stupid to even left her with thr veranda wide open for her. Is he even thinking?
She clapped her hands mentally because of joy. She will escape no matter what. And she needs to do it because Helios is not yet around because he'll definitely stop her once he knows her plan to escape.
Amara took a step until she reached the veranda and went outside. She immediately hugged herself when the cold breeze of the wind kissed her skin. Her lips almost tremble because of the coldness. She held onto the terrace and looked down.
She gasped when she saw that it's a bit high from where she is. If ever she jumps to escape, she will get broken bones in the end. It will be the cause of her death and it will be really bad for her. She doesn't want to die just yet!
She shivered at the thought. No, she won't jump. That's still too dangerous for her.
She goes back inside the room and thinks of a plan again. She thought about something she could hold for support to escape. Something strong that could support her weight. And then she glanced at the comforter on the bed. Yes, that's right! The comforter!
With one swift move, she grabbed the comforter and tied it at the bottom part of the terrace. She double checked it and made sure that it wouldn't be untied. She will use it to bring herself on the ground below.
Her face turned frowning when the comforter didn't even reach the ground. It should be longer so it won't be hard for her to jump.
And then she looked at the man's closet. She almost ran to go in front of it and immediately opened it and grabbed some shirts. Damn, she didn't even care when the shirts became messy because of her fast movement.
The shirt that she got was now scattered on the floor. She almost cursed herself when she smelled the man's scent on his shirt. She knew because she smelled him a while ago and it's almost the same as the smell of his shirts. Why does her clothes smell like this? It's impossible to even have a laundry shop here! She likes his smell. And she didn't get the chance to pay attention to the shirt she's wearing right now because she's too focused on other things.
She slapped herself mentally because of her own thoughts. Seriously? This is a freakin' serious situation yet she's thinking about that man's smell?! Goodness! She must be out of her mind, thanks to that man named Helios.
She really needs to focus. That man is... poisoning her mind! Call her OA or overreacting but that man is somehow tainting her mind. That man's smell is suddenly occupying her mind making her think about something... wild. It's turning her on, she must admit it.
Her movements are fast. She tied the shirts on the comforter again and double checked it. She went outside again and threw the comforter with the shirts on the end of it below. She also threw her bag and other things she got when she climbed the mountain.
Amara took a breath to brush away her nervousness. It seems like she suddenly felt scared because she's really afraid of heights because basically, this is also a matter of life and death situation. One wrong move and she'll fall on the ground. She's also silently praying that the comforter and the shirts that she tied won't be untied.
But she tried to erase what's running through her mind right now. It's not the right time to feel scared. She needs to escape as soon as possible!
Amara carefully lifted her foot and placed it at the top of the terrace. Her face crumpled when she felt the coldness for the ninth time. The air is fanning her most private area! What the hell!
It's too cold!
She almost forgot that she wasn't wearing anything underneath the oversized shirt she's wearing right now. It slipped her mind earlier because that man barged inside the room with her wearing nothing so she grabbed a shirt and covered her body without thinking that she's not wearing a panty.
When she successfully lifted herself, she carefully took a step downward and held it properly at the top of the terrace. It was a slow movement but this is better since if she'll move fast, there's a possibility that she'll fall on the ground.
When she finally landed smoothly on the ground, she observed the surroundings first and made sure that no one saw her. She doesn't want to think that maybe Helios is not alone here and maybe he got an ally. That would be too difficult for her.
But when she saw no one, she grabbed her bag and wore it on her shoulder. And before she knew it, she was already half running away from that house.
Amara caught her own breath because she ran too much. She's too far already from that house and her foot is already aching. She ran barefoot and it didn't even shock her when she saw that it was already bleeding.
"A-Aww..." She almost cried at the mere sight of her own blood freely flowing from her wounded foot. She tripped and it was painful.
She found a big tree so she sat at the root of it that is almost bigger than her. She rested there and clutched her chest because her heart was really beating wildly.
She glanced at her own foot again and cried at the sight again. She closed her eyes because she's too weak when it comes to blood. It feels like her stomach is churning, she might puke all of a sudden.
She leaned on the big tree's root while thinking. He won't follow her, right? He won't know where she is instantly.
She closed her eyes to feel the fresh air but opened it again when she heard something on the leaves on the ground. She tried to look where it was coming from and almost screamed in shock at what she just saw.
It was a snake that was coming towards her, ready to attack. It looks like a cobra because she recognizes the head of it. It's tongue is coming out from time to time.
Amara couldn't move. She couldn't move her own body and she's certain that one wrong move, this snake in front of her would definitely eat her to death.
She couldn't help but cry again silently. Is this it? Is this really the end of her own life?
Because of crying, she sobbed unconsciously that made the snake alert and was about to bite her so she screamed!
That's it! It's coming near her! The snake is coming!
She closed her eyes and waited for the painful bite of the snake but... it didn't happen. Nothing bit her and she didn't feel anything painful at all.
Amara opened her eyes again and got shocked by what she witnessed.
It was Helios. He's choking the snake with his bare hands until it's not breathing anymore.
But that's not the thing that shocked her.
It's because she saw his eyes turn a deep color red and he also got sharp fangs!
And then she thought that her life was more dangerous with this man around than the snake that was ready to attack her a while ago.
