Chapter 5

It's been two weeks since Alina killed the goddess, though it wasn’t easy, it was a tough one and she nearly died but she succeeded.

Drake found her in the forest and brought her back into the back claiming she was attacked by wild animals. She was severely injured but she had recovered.

Drake knows that Alina had drawn war upon herself but he is willing to help her succeed and overcome all, a suddenly thunder claps as the whole pack shook, windows shattering and doors breaking, it suddenly stopped and everyone rushed outside including Alina, Drake just followed behind like a puppy, he knew it was going to happen anyways.

Fire was thrown like balls as the pack members took cover, a god descended, though the face couldn’t be seen and the cloth was only shining in pure gold but it was clear that it was a god,  the whole pack dropped to their knees bowing down.

Other gods descended in the same manner till they were complete fours.

"Alina, you shall be punished, your crime is unforgivable, you have angered us, you have committed a crime of brutal murder, for this reason women are not allowed to be alphas anymore." The first god spoke, everyone gasps in shock as no one knows what Alina had done.

"Listen up, you are to seize her and kill her tomorrow, let every pack be there, let them witness her death" The second one spoke as they ascended up just the way they came.

They all stood up immediately as guards seized Alina and dragged her into the Dungeon why the elders prepared for her execution, though they still don't fully understand what had really happened but disobeying the gods would bring the wrath of the gods upon them and they don't want that.

Alina sat down on the cold floor of the dungeon, for one reason she isn't scared. In fact she is angry at the gods, the only thing she can think of now is a means to escape, and get her revenge but the prison gate is made of silver.

Drake makes himself invisible as he walks into the dungeon, he opens the locked cage, he had actually caused the guards to a 10minutes sleep that they won't actually know they slept, everything would seem normal to them.

Alina looks up to the sudden opening of the cage, "Go, I caused the guards to sleep already." Drake ordered still invincible, Alina looked around "Who are you?" She asks in confusion.

"It doesn't matter now, you will know who I am later, just go and do it fast, you will have to figure out a way to escape by yourself as your cave has been found out," Drake replied.

Alina nods as she rushes out, noticing the guards were truly asleep as the voice had told her, she runs as fast as her legs could carry her.

The first house she sights was Jake's fathers house, she sighs, she has to do this anyways or she will die. She sneaks into the house, finding herself in the kitchens she picks up a knife pulling off all her clothes and picking up a coat from the stand, she turns the knife in the pocket of the coat and heads inside the senior beta's room, who happened to be Jake's father.

Beta Andrew had sensed a presence and he was prepared to fight whosoever the intruder was until he saw Alina walk in naked with only a coat round her body, he got lost in lust as he gulped down his saliva. Alina, noticing the effect she had on him, moves closer to him planting kisses on his neck making him lost in his moment of fantasy before stabbing him right at his back.

She had flirted with him enough to rub his scent on her body, she got into his wardrobe and pulled out a shirt and trouser to wear in disguise and to completely have his scent over hers. Sighing in satisfaction she heads outside to leave through the dungeon Unicom in the beta's home. It was located right in his library and she had found it mistakenly when she was a kid.

Getting out of his room and wanting to end up at the library, she froze in shock as she met Jake sitted in the living room.

"It's okay Alpha, I am loyal to you, you saved my life even when my dad left me to die, he disowned me a long time ago and I understand the need for this" Jake said before Alina could explain anything, she sighs in relief as she would hate to kill Jake.

They both headed towards the library as they successfully pushed the hurdles and got into the dungeon unicom running straight to escape.

It was morning and also time for the execution,  the guards burst into the field rushing.

"She escaped" One of them blurted out, trying to catch her breath, all the wolves there gasped. "How is that possible?" they all thought.

Still very confused they all decided to focus on their Alpha, "Alpha Thomas" Till they get any other message from the gods, the gods had told them he was alive after Alina was thrown to the dungeon and they had healed him to stabilise the Alpha's position.

Alina and Jake didn't know how many hours they used but they bursted out in a forest by the time it was morning and decided to sit down for rest, one thing was sure they were definitely far from the pack already.

"Your father got out of the cave, it was actually discovered, and additionally, he has been healed by the gods" Jake said breaking the ice, Alina only gritted her teeth in anger.

Now the gods have angered her and it is time for her own battles, she is going to avenge the punishment of the gods, she is going to challenge theocracy, the gods shouldn't be the one to rule anymore, until her last breath she is going to abolish this.

Black Frog smiles at her thoughts, he was still invisible as Drake and had been with them all this while but silently feeding on her thoughts.

He was also going to help her succeed in this, no matter what it cost.
