Chapter 7

After we paid, we went around holding hands again.

"You want to eat fish balls?" He asked and pointed to a shelf where a man was cooking on the stove. There are also people waiting on the side.

"W-what is that?" I looked at him but he didn't answer and just pulled me there.

I was just looking at the woman cooking while one of her male companions put the cooked food in circles on the barbeque stick. Those are the fish balls. I looked to the side and stared in amazement at a customer as he put the fish balls he bought in a plastic cup like a sauce.

"This is what you called street foods. Do you eat this?" I shook my head slowly. He didn't say a word and just grabbed my waist and came over to the shelf.

I closed my eyes when I smelled the hot, boiling oil while there were fish balls drowning in it

"Two cups of fish balls" Psalm said briefly. The woman looked at us smiling. He took two cups and put many pieces of fish balls in them

There was even a stick that made me even more mesmerized. What do I do here? I saw Psalm reach for the payment while I was still staring and wondering how I was going to eat it

"Let's put some sauce on it" He said. I just looked at what he put so I followed what he did.

When I finished I looked at him again. Can I shake your hand? I was about to take it when Psalm spoke

"It's hot Erin. You should use that stick" I looked at her while piercing the two fish balls and took a bite. I nodded and followed him.

I frowned and screamed because of the spiciness "O-oh God! It's spicy!" I complained so he was confused.

"This is her water" The old woman said and handed it to me. I sipped the cold mineral water in the plastic bottle

I finished it while crying and still crying and it seems like I missed it because my mouth is still spicy and it really hurts "D*mn... Why did you put spicy sauce on it if you don't eat spicy?" He asked me.

"You didn't say that your girlfriend didn't eat spicy food. That's it," said the old man, accompanied by the old woman, with a laugh.

"He's my husband. I forgot" I was stunned by what he said. He just laughs while talking to the elders

"That's why. I thought you were just boyfriend and girlfriend. It's not obvious that you're married" I was even more upset because of what the old man said

What?! He's not my husband! I wanted to scream because Psalm had already spoken

"Is your mouth still spicy?" I was speechless and surprised when he touched my face and kissed me. I was frozen in place and unable to move.

When he let go I just stared at him dumbfounded while he just stared at me "Hey! You two are so exciting! I remember my childhood and my husband" My cheeks reddened and my chest heaved as I looked at the couple that we were now happily watching.

I couldn't speak. "He's still dumbfounded. Your charisma is really strong. Don't get tired of exciting your wife," joked the old man. I looked at Psalm and bowed down in shame.

Erin! What?! Why are you blushing?! Why are you still embarrassed?! Psalms! Why did he say we were married?!

Psalm just smiled and said goodbye to the two adults then pulled me and held me by the waist. I couldn't speak and was still dumbfounded.

After a few minutes of walking around we arrived at the display of clothes. I was dumbfounded and wrinkled when I looked at them because they are so beautiful.

The former is colorful and beautiful. There are shoes, bags, and other products on display. It's the same on the other side.

I held it and my eyes widened when I saw the price of 3 for 100

I looked at Psalm who just stared at me then smiled

"Oh my God! There are clothes like this here like this? They look cheap" I showed him the price.

I was stunned when he whispered

"You want to buy it?" I nodded and smiled while others looked.

"Why is it cheap here? It's expensive in the malls? I mean, the price is thousands of pesos while here. You already have a dress for just 100. And oh! They also have a bag like this!" I looked at the beautiful sling bag with beautiful designs. There is something like this in the mall too

"Sister. How much?" I asked him

"350 po ma'am" My eyes widened even more and I stared at the bags on display. Beautiful. Their bags are just beautiful. There are shorts, underwears and more.

"Sorry about my wife. It's her first time here" I heard Psalm promise. I stopped and looked at him with a frown

"Choose what you want. I will pay. Even if you ask for the whole world, I will give it. For you"

I laughed for a moment and looked at him.

"You're so funny" I said laughing while he just stared at me.

"I'm just curios. It's not obvious from your looks that you know how to stretch" He grinned and took a bite of rice while staring at me.

"I learned it from Luke" He said briefly. I was stunned by him for a moment.

"Your cousin? My God!" I laughed and bit my lip. I won't be surprised anymore. It's obvious that Luke taught him that. There is nothing in his appearance to stretch like that.

"Yeah. He also told me that it can make a girl smile and I think he's right" I stopped laughing and stared at him. I was suddenly embarrassed

"Smile Erin. It makes you beautiful" He added. I looked away and turned away. I don't know why I'm excited

"Tell me what do you want. I will pay" He whispered making me swallow. Psalm... Get away from me. Just please

"This... Besides this. This too... And this" I stammered and pointed everywhere. I was stunned by his laughter so I fought back even more with shame

"Love. Are you going to buy everything? Then fine. I'll even buy the store just to win your heart" I was stunned again and couldn't move when he grabbed my waist and whispered like that

"Don't pretend Erin. I know I have an effect on you" He whispered. I couldn't move and remained dumbfounded

"Hey! Really young people! Flirting everywhere! What about us singles?!" The shopkeeper muttered while still fanning himself. It frowned

I don't know if I can laugh because of what he said. Psalm tightened his grip on my waist making me frown.

"Psalms?" He huddled behind me.

"Don't move Erin..." He ordered me authoritatively which surprised me.

"Huh?" My eyes widened when I felt something hard on my ass. I froze in place

"You're butt is seducing me D*mn it. I feel h*rny" He said hoarsely and simply pinched you.

"P-psalm... You're rude" I reprimanded weakly but he remained huddled behind me "W-wait me there... I'll just go to the restroom" He let go of me and ran to leave. I was stunned and couldn't move where I was standing while my face was red.

Even if he didn't say, I know what happened to him. I felt even more suddenly.

When he came back he was drenched in sweat. I was stunned because he was handsome because of his looks. His hair and even his body were wet so his big arms stretched out in the t-shirt he was wearing.

Other people looked at him, especially the women who smiled and seemed to be thrilled while looking at him. I suddenly got irritated and raised my eyebrows

"Where have you been?" I firmly promise that he stopped it. He looked away and his face turned red.

"S-stop asking Erin..." He stammered. I was stunned and simply looked at his shorts with a scratch and I saw it

"P-psalm please... Cover that. I can wait here if you're not done..." He stared at me and shook his head.

"N-no let's go..." He pulled me and was about to walk when he approached the shopkeeper

"I will go to buy all of this! Send it to this address and this is my payment" The shopkeeper was dumbfounded while looking at him and holding the credit card he gave

"The handsome..." I heard him whisper so I pulled Psalm. Carried by my annoyance and all I wanted to do was look at it with disdain

"That's my husband." I firmly promised that his eyes widened. I pulled Psalm who was now dumbfounded and obviously heard what I said

"I can't imagine you being my wife" I was stunned and also stopped eating ice cream because of what he said. I swallowed and didn't say a word

"did you hear that earlier? It was just a joke" I laughed a few times while he had a serious face while staring at me

"Have you experienced having a boyfriend Erin?" He suddenly asked so I looked at him for a moment and returned my gaze to what I was eating

"O-yes... I-I love you so much" I smiled bitterly when I remembered Shawn. I can feel his deep gaze on me.

I was dumbfounded as I looked at the melting ice cream in the cone.

"How did you know him?" I smiled as I remembered the first time Shawn and I met.

"Well, I have a crush on him... I was actually the first to have a crush on him. He's handsome. Famous, and rich too" I stopped as he continued to listen

"He's a varsity player so I always cheer for him every time they have a game. Not until he noticed me..." The smile on my lips never disappeared

"I was surprised because after their game he came up to me. He smiled and said thank you. Until we became friends and that's when he lost me..." I took a deep breath and threw away the ice cream cone

"We're almost dating for just a month and after that I answered him too. We're in a relationship for just 3 years. He became my best friend, became an ally with everyone, I can tell him about problems and he's also my favorite enemy, but sadly... We're not meant for each other" I felt the bitterness running through my chest.

"Why? What happened? You two broke up?" He asked me seriously. I smiled and then shrugged

"I'm getting married to my sister" I laughed while looking at him but he just stared at me with no emotion

"I don't know... Until now I'm just thinking why he agreed to marry my sister. Even though he explained me his reasons, I feel like that's still not enough. Maybe he just wants to get rid of me . Maybe I'm fed up with it. I'm irritated or I've lost my will... That's the way it is" I'm not sure I promise.

"He's a j*rk then" He said coldly so I stopped and stared at him for a moment

"He doesn't care about men. That's a lame reason Erin. He's too shameless to make you cry and leave you. You're worth it Erin. Stop crying over a man who chooses to leave you behind than staying at your side for the rest of his life. Find a man that will cherish and protect you forever. You're such a lovely person and you're a precious gem any man could wish" He made a long promise while staring into my eyes.

I was stunned and could not speak.

"Stop thinking about him. Think and focus on your happiness instead. Learn to be happy on your own without begging for anyone's love" He added and slowly held my hand.

"In case you can't move on. Tell me. Come to me and tell me all the pain you feel. I'm all ears Erin. I can be your shoulder when you cry, my hands can wipe your lovely tears and you can use me until you forget him" He said gently and seriously while staring into my eyes.

"And if you fall, I'm ready to catch you and appreciate you as you deserve" He held my hands tightly before kissing them gently

"Because you're precious more than you think you are" My heart pounded as I stared at him. I don't know what to feel. Happy? Sad?

I kept staring at him and could not speak.

"Let's go. It's getting late. Let's go home" He stood up slowly while still holding my hands.

I stood up and couldn't look at him properly.

"Act normal and forget what I say. But always remember that I mean what I said earlier" He whispered making me nod.

He slowly kissed my senses and walked while holding my hand tightly

"I have something to buy for you" He grabbed my waist and entered a jewelry shop.
