chapter 5: Visiting his Office.

Hazel's point of view.

What does he think of himself? How can he purchase me like this, he bought me to be his wife and my family still looks happy except for Roxane who is sad because Mr. prefers. velasquez to marry me instead of him. But on the other hand, he also looks happy because there is no love to mediate our marriage. I knew that man was just retaliating for the slap I did to him.

wearing a long skirt with a simple top, I took a taxi to go to Velasquez Enterprises here in the Philippines. I did not expect my family to stop me from marrying Mr. velasquez, meaning no one else can stop this deal and this love less marriage but the only Mr. Velasquez. After uncle told about the deal offer of Mr. Velasquez, I could do nothing but stand there in shock. I don’t know what I will irereact to. I have my own dream of my future prince and my future marriage and it's not in that man's vocabulary so I just decided to follow that man after he left home.

a taxi driver stops the car in front of the Velasquez Enterprises standing in its glory. I quickly pay the driver for his service and move toward the main gate of the building only to find guards stopping the visitors like me who don't have any ID card or any appointment.

"Do you have an appointment, miss?" the guard stopped me when he caught me almost getting through.

What can be said? Should I say that I can come here to say no to their boss about the purchasing deal? No Hazel! By this you will make a fool of yourself.

"I'm here to meet your Boss, Mr. Liam Velasquez." high forehead I said. I tried to walk into the building again but he immediately stopped me as well.

"A lot of people come here to meet with the boss. I'll repeat, do you have an appointment?" when I did not answer it grabbed me by the shoulder and turned around once pushing away.

I looked up again and frowned as I spoke.

"I don't have an appointment but tell your boss that Hazel Castillo is here and I'm sure she'll let me in." the irritation was obvious in my voice. first Roxane in the morning, followed by the deal offered by that bwiset man, then now it's the guards who are wasting my time.

"You're Hazel Castillo?" at once the guards shouted and looked at me in shock. their eyes moved to look at me from the top to the tips of my toes as if I were an alien. "We know the boss expects you to come today."

Finally they allow me, but why does Liam expect me to come? maybe he knew I was going to come here to say I wouldn’t. I moved towards the reception area and saw a woman standing who was about to undress because of wearing it. How can a girl like her who is showing her cleavege to every visitor be appointed as a receptionist?

"I want to know what Mr. Velasquez's floor number is. He is expecting me."

"Your name please." he asked looking uninterested. Why would he be interested in a simple woman like me? A girl who is complete opposite to her.

"Hazel Castillo."

"What ?you are Hazel? "he asked while sitting upside down in shock. Why is everyone here looking at me in shock?

"Yes, I'am Hazel. His floor number please." I asked again as I tapped my fingers on the reception table.

"His office is at fortieth floor.turn right and you will find the lift. Once you're already on the fortieth floor go straight and you will see his office at the far corner. "While saying he was obviously inspecting me from top to bottom but I just ignored him.

I quickly went in the direction the receptionist pointed out to me and entered the elevator once hitting the fortieth floor. The elevator is completely empty except for me. I look around to find myself enjoying the view outside from the fully glass made lift. The view is truly magnificent.

when the elevator signaled that I had reached the floor I was supposed to go to, I immediately walked out to get to Mr.'s office. Velasquez. Weird! I didn't face any obstacle standing at his office door. without a word I opened the door loudly and was obviously ready to rush him but I just caught up with him sitting calmly in his swivel chair.

"Welcome Zel I was waiting for you!" He dropped his back on his swivel chair while looking at me.

"How dare you Mr.velasquez? How could you decide to purchase me? I’m human and I’m not something to buy. ”I grit my teeth in anger while throwing angry daggers in his way.

"I have the power and money to use to buy everything from anyone, and you are the example." he was hunting.

"And why me? If you want to show the world the power and money you have, you can buy Roxane. I'm sure you have the same temperament and that's making another person's life a living hell." I said bitterly.

"But I selected you as you were the one who dared to slap me." he said seeing the anger in the eyes that made my hair stand on end. He got up from the seat and slowly walked in my direction. I backed off from him, fearing the worst.

Very superficial reason.

"You know what, I hate you so don't try to come near me." I shouted and tried to remove the emotion from my face but the truth was that nervousness almost enveloped my whole being with every step he took.

"You know what? I hate you more. I hate you to the core." he is so close to me and my face can feel his hot breath that makes me shiver in fear. "What did you say that night? That I can't get you for a night?" an evil smirk appers on his face. "See, I will get you for me for a lifetime as my purchased wife and you will regret all the bad desicions you have taken in your life."

I was more frightened by the coldness of the voice coming from him. I tried to push him but he was stronger than me. now I regret what happened that night. It was the worst decision of my life to slap him. What on eart was I thinking?

"I know you are thinking that you shouldn't have slapped me and trust me it was worse on your part and it will be worst for you if you try and skip away from this deal or try to tell anyone that I have purchased you. " he applied his finger close to my lip which caused me to cringeI.

"Six days babe and you will be mine. I shall ravish you the whole night and no one will be able to stop me." he darkly remarks and my whole body starts to shiver in fear.

"H-you can't a-your plan." I stammered. "I'll tell anyone about it."

"Go tell everyone." he said and backed away slightly. "Tell everyone you see that I bought you and the wedding that will take place is just a deal. Don't blame me when I bring down Castillo's Group...I know your father worked hard to grow your company and it will be so much fun watching Castillo's Group going down. Just go. "He crossed his two hands on his chest and looked at me obviously determined by what he said.

How can he do so? and why he would overthrow Castillo’s Group.

"You won't do such a thing!" I warn him.

"I can do and I can. I hold such a big power.so the decision is all yours. "then he calmly walked to his swivel chair and leaned back while a file was being opened." And yes my grandma will come to your house tomorrow. Be a good girl and say yes for this alliance if you want to save your company. now you are excused. "he dismisses me.

"You!" angry I said once stabbing him.

"Go on Zel, say more and I will send these financial reports of Castillo's for liquidation." he showed me the file with Castillo written on the front.

How can he do so? how did he get that file? I know he won’t have a hard time getting everything. I think I can do nothing. I can't gamble the company just for myself. Daddy worked hard for that and I will never let those hardships go in vain.

"So what's your decision Zel?" I looked in his direction and the mokong just smiled at me looking annoyed. And what Zel? I'am Hazel!

"My name is Hazel not Zel." I said angrily.

"I know Zel, but you see, you will be my wife and maybe it would be nice if I gave you a nickname so for me you are my Zel." he says with a cool and calm look like it didn't matter. "Anything as Zel. Now you are disturbing me and I don't have much time to waste not even on my purchased wife.I know you're smart Zel and I'll wait for your decision. "He winked at me and let me out.

The nerves of this man.

Arghh!

Even with a broken shoulder I just chose to get out of the cabin. I thought it would be easy to escape this deal but I didn't think he had any talent. My visit here would be such a great mistake. I just hope his grandma is a human being not a devil like him.
