Selena's point of view.
I never thought I would fall in love with a prince, let alone two of them. But fate had other plans for me.
My name is Selena Adams, and I’m a college student and a part-time worker at a local bookstore. I live a simple and ordinary life, or so I thought. Until I met him.
He was Cameron Edward, the Alpha prince of the Black Kingdom. He was handsome, charming, and ruthless. He was also my mate.
We met at a party that I attended with my best friend, Mia. She dragged me there, saying that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the royal family up close. I didn’t care much for them, but I went along anyway.
I didn’t expect to catch the eye of the prince, who approached me with a confident smile and asked me to dance. I was too stunned to refuse, and soon I was in his arms, feeling his warmth and his scent.
He whispered in my ear, “You’re mine, Selena. You’re my mate.”
I felt a surge of emotion in my chest, a mix of shock, fear, and attraction. I didn’t know what to say or do. I barely knew him, and he claimed me as his.
He kissed me then, softly at first, then more passionately. His tongue explored my mouth, and his hands roamed my body. I melted into him, feeling a connection that I never felt before.
He broke the kiss and looked into my eyes. “Come with me,” he said.
I nodded, unable to resist him. He took my hand and led me to his car. He drove us to his palace, where he took me to his room.
He undressed me slowly, kissing every inch of my skin. He made love to me gently, making me feel things that I never imagined. He marked me as his with his teeth, sealing our bond.
He held me close after we climaxed, stroking my hair and whispering sweet words in my ear.
I could feel my heart racing as I looked into Cameron's eyes, trying to make sense of what he was saying. My mind kept telling me that it couldn't be true, but my gut was telling me otherwise.
"You're joking, right?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. "You can't seriously be a part of this."
But Cameron just looked at me with cold eyes, his usually charming smile nowhere in sight.
"It's the only way, Selena," he said, his tone firm. "We need to take your virginity and claim your power before someone else does."
I felt a surge of anger and betrayal coursing through my veins. How could he have kept something like this from me for so long? I thought he loved me, that we had something special.
"Well, I won't allow it," I said, my voice full of determination. "I won't let you or anyone else take something so personal from me without my consent."
But as soon as I said those words, Cameron's expression turned dangerous. He took a step closer to me, his eyes darkening.
"You don't understand, Selena," he said, his voice low. "This is bigger than either of us. Our families have been planning this for years. We have to carry it out."
I stared at him in disbelief. Was he willing to throw away everything we had together for some ancient family tradition? I couldn't believe it.
"I can't believe you would do this to me," I said, my voice trembling with emotion. "You made me believe that you loved me. That we had something real."
Cameron's face softened for a moment, and I thought that maybe he was going to come to his senses. But then he shook his head, his eyes hardening once again.
"I do love you, Selena," he said. "But sometimes love isn't enough. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices for the greater good."
I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I looked at him. It was clear that he wasn't going to back down. He had made up his mind.
"Well, I can't be a part of this," I said my voice firm. "I won't let you or anyone else control me like that."
I turned around and walked away, my heart heavy with sadness and hurt. I couldn't believe that the person I had trusted the most had turned out to be someone completely different. It was a harsh lesson to learn, but I knew that I needed to move on and find someone who would love and respect me for who I am.
I walked away from Cameron, I couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness in my heart. I had trusted him with everything, and he had betrayed me in the worst possible way. It was almost as if everything we had shared had been a lie.
I never imagined that my first love would be so volatile and complicated. I had always assumed that finding someone to spend the rest of my life with would be easy. But nothing, it seemed, had prepared me for the harsh realities of life.
I tried to push Cameron's words out of my head, but they kept haunting me. How could he even consider taking something as personal as my virginity without my consent? It was a violation of my trust, my boundaries, and my body.
It was then that I remembered Asher, the enigmatic Alpha king I had met on campus. He had been kind and understanding and had listened to me without judging.
Maybe he could help me make sense of everything that was happening.
I decided to go find him, hoping that he would be able to shed some light on the situation.
I didn't have to look far. Just as I was about to head out of campus, I spotted Asher sitting on a bench, gazing up at the sky.
"Hey," I said, approaching him cautiously. "Can we talk?"
Asher turned to look at me, his eyes full of warmth and understanding.
"Of course," he said, patting the space beside him. "Come and sit."
I sat down next to him, feeling a bit anxious about what I was going to say.
"It's about Cameron," I said finally, my voice barely above a whisper. "He's been keeping something from me, something that's tearing us apart."
Asher looked at me, his eyes full of concern.
