My true mate

Cherly's point of view.

I had always dreamed of finding my true mate, the one who would love me unconditionally and protect me from any harm. I thought I had found him in Oliver, the prince of the Ashenclaw pack. He was handsome, charming, and attentive. He made me feel special and cherished. He was also an Alpha, which meant he could claim me as his mate and bond with me for life.

But today, on my 18th birthday, I discovered a shocking truth that shattered my world. Oliver was not my true mate. He was a traitor who had been secretly colluding with a rival pack to betray me and seize my virginity, which held immense power in the werewolf world.

I found out when I overheard him talking to his accomplice on the phone. He was in his room, which was next to mine in the pack house. He didn’t know I was home early from school, and he didn’t bother to lower his voice.

“Everything is going according to plan,” he said smugly. “She’s so naive and trusting, she won’t suspect a thing. Tonight, I’ll take her to the cabin in the woods and make her mine. Once I break her seal, I’ll have access to her power and use it to overthrow the Alpha king and take his throne.”

I felt a surge of anger and disbelief as I listened to his words. How could he do this to me? How could he lie to me for so long? How could he use me as a pawn in his evil scheme?

I wanted to confront him, to slap him across the face and demand an explanation. But I knew that would be foolish and dangerous. He was an Alpha, and he could easily overpower me and force me to do his bidding. I had to get away from him, and fast.

I grabbed my backpack and ran out of the house, hoping he wouldn’t notice my absence until it was too late. I didn’t know where to go or who to trust. I felt alone and scared.

I ran until I reached the edge of the pack territory, where the forest met the road. I saw a bus stop nearby and decided to hop on the first bus that came along. I didn’t care where it took me, as long as it was far away from Oliver and his betrayal.

I waited for a few minutes until a bus arrived. It was almost empty, except for a few passengers scattered around the seats. I paid the fare and took a seat near the back. I looked out of the window and watched as the trees passed by in a blur.

I tried to calm myself down and think of what to do next. I knew I couldn’t go back to my pack. They would never believe me if I told them what Oliver had done.

I also knew I couldn't stay on the bus forever. I had to find a safe place to hide and figure out a way to expose Oliver's treachery. I hoped there was someone out there who could help me, someone who would understand and believe me.

I felt a sudden jolt of electricity run through my body. It was a sensation I had never experienced before, but I instinctively knew what it meant. It was the mate bond, the connection that linked me to my true mate.

I gasped and looked around the bus, trying to locate the source of the feeling. My eyes met a pair of piercing blue eyes that belonged to a man sitting across from me. He was tall and muscular, with dark hair and a stubbled jaw. He wore a leather jacket and jeans, and he had a tattoo of a wolf on his neck. He looked like a bad boy, but there was something about him that drew me in.

He stared back at me with an expression of shock and curiosity. He must have felt the bond too. He was my true mate, and I was his.

We didn't say anything, we just kept looking at each other, trying to process what was happening. We were strangers, yet we were destined to be together. We were from different worlds, yet we shared a soul.

The bus stopped at the next station, and he got up from his seat. He walked towards me and extended his hand.

"Hi, I'm Liam," he said in a deep voice that sent shivers down my spine.

"Cherly," I said softly, taking his hand.

He smiled and pulled me closer to him.

"Come with me," he said. "I'll keep you safe."

I nodded and followed him off the bus. I didn't know where he was taking me, or what would happen next. But I trusted him. He was my true mate, and he would never hurt me.

Liam led me to a black motorcycle parked outside the bus station. He handed me a helmet and helped me get on the bike behind him. He wrapped my arms around his waist and started the engine.

“Hold on tight,” he said over his shoulder.

I nodded and pressed myself against his back. I felt his heartbeat and his warmth. I felt safe and secure.

He drove away from the station and into the highway. He drove fast and skillfully, weaving through the traffic and avoiding the cars. He seemed to know where he was going, but he didn’t tell me anything.

I didn’t ask him any questions either. I was too overwhelmed by everything that had happened. I had just found out that my boyfriend was a traitor who wanted to use me for his evil plans.

I didn’t know what to think or feel. I was scared and confused, but also curious and hopeful. I wanted to know more about Liam, about who he was, and why he was my mate. I wanted to know if he felt the same way I did if he wanted me as much as I wanted him.
