The Accidental Wife

KATE'S POV.

It's been a month since i met this kid and still i didn't know his name, well he didn't tell me and when i asked he didn't want to answer me why should i force him? he might even cry. He still hasn't lost his sweetness as a child. Maybe it's in their genes.

Btw, I'm right now in the living room with my friend who is looking at me confused because I have a child with me in my condo. Will ever since because I don't bring anyone here except him so I understand his reaction. And went because he's suddenly here at my condo so he's just like this, I'm the same, I'm still surprised because I brought this kid! .I can't stop myself from feeling sorry for this. I thought it was because there were no parents, but I was wrong!

First time first! I will introduce myself and my friend first, so im kate santiago, 24 years of age and im not that tall because i am only 5'4 hieght and i have a long black hair that goes down to my waist and i am also white and im pretty ok ? We can't call ourselves beautiful so be proud of your own beauty ok? And my best friend is abbygale sarmiento we are the same age and she's pretty with her thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, brown eyes, pointed nose, rosey cheeks and kissable lips. My nose is also pointed, not just as pointed as Abby's nose, I call her Abby and you can call her Abby too!

"It's because of you always being late! You thought maybe it was because of that boy that I called you here! No you're wrong ms. Santiago!" He said this angrily so I just bowed down and then stopped myself from getting angry!

I don't know what to re-react, I can just feel the tears in my eyes that are dripping little by little!

"But that's not possible?" I kept saying that it's because of me that the cafe has grown so it's impossible for him to fire me just like that!

"You're fired Ms. Santiago!"

That's why I went out of the office with a heavy heart and it's like my system still doesn't accept what happened!

I got ready and then wiped my tears that were falling again! I'm just hurting, because since I came here, this is the first person who helped me to earn a living because no one accepted me because I'm from the province so it's okay It hurts that you suddenly get fired just because of that. I don't know if that really counted, I wasn't late for a long time and it didn't even last a month!

I sniffed first then continued walking until I saw vickey, I could see the shock in their eyes, maybe they noticed the redness in my eyes. I just looked away from them and then faced vickey and picked up the child.

"Vickey thank you!" I tried to smile as I tried to stop my tears from falling again!

"There's nothing!" he said with a smile, then he was about to leave, but he stopped me!

"Are you okay, Kate?" he asked, I nodded and hugged him.

Vickey was the only one who became friends here at the cafe, the others didn't like me because our boss said that I would be noticed by our boss so they didn't want to talk to me. I understand them, even so I will miss them especially Vickey!

"What happened? tell me?" I just smiled and left.

"Nothing, I'll just miss you. I'm leaving here.." He was surprised by what I said

"Why are you leaving?" He said sadly that's why I held my breath and put the child down first.

"I want to take good care of this child so I will resign!" When I gave birth, I heard her sigh then hugged me.

"I understand. Take care, I'll miss you so much that I'm not here anymore because you're gone!" I was just surprised because of the sudden reading of my shoulder so I bit my lip to stop my sobs. I don't want anyone to cry because of me!

"Hang on Vickey, I'll be fine, don't worry okay? Besides, I'll visit you here" I said that's why he looked at me with sad eyes and then wiped his tears and nodded!

"Is that a promise?" I just nodded and carried the kid and waved at her saying goodbye.

I was biting my lip while walking, ignoring the heat because of the pain I was feeling! It was like I was crying again!

"Mommy are you okay?" I looked at him because of his innocent question and also smiled because he tried to wipe my tears with his little hand!

"I'm fine, you don't have to worry about mommy okay!" He nodded so I just blew out the air so I wouldn't cry again!

I looked at his innocent face again and smiled bitterly

I don't know if I can blame him for that

I lost my job or will I be thankful because he came into my life?
