7 - No Plans

"So, It's you.?''

Lianne was stunned while locking the shop. Her two friends were out, she was not prepared by the presence of a man, none other than Captain McCluskey. He was leaning on the wall while his two hands were in his pockets. He was wearing a cap, she didn't know where he was looking, maybe on her.

"What do you mean?" Lianne answered with anger. She continued locking the door. She did not let him see that her hand was shaking.

"That one who ki-"

"I'm going. Have a goodnight, Mr. McCluskey." she didn't let Zyd finish what he was going to say and started to walk. It doesn't matter if he will stand on the wall forever or if he wants, he can be a wall forever. All she wants is to go home now! As in now if she only has wings to fly.

"Not so fast, Elhouette." He quickly grabbed her hand.

"Elhouette? Lianne was stunned. This is what Zyd calls her when they are still chatting on social media. Her head suddenly heated up for no reason and angrily threw his hand away.

"Can you please stop, stupid! May pa Elhouette ka pa nalalaman, close tayo?! Bwesit kang lalaki ka. Maliban sa wala kang ibang ginawa kundi ang saktan ako, pinaasa mo pa ako! Gusto mo makatikim ng sampal? Tadyak? Nanggigigil ako sa pagmumukha mo. Kuuh pasalamat ka, hindi ka lang mukhang unggoy! Mukha ka rin tipaklong bagay kayo ng jowa mong kalansay!" Why are calling me Elhouette, are we close? You stupid boy. You did nothing but hurt me, and also you made me hope. Do you want to taste some slap? Kick? She shuddered looking at his face . Kuuh be thankful, you dont look like a monkey! But you look like a grasshopper and look good with your skeleton girlfriend! She glared at him but Lianne remembered that Zyd cannot understand her, she rolled her eyes at him.

"I understand all of it." it's complacent, he said and crossed his arms in front of her. She blinked. It means.......

"Yeah all of it. I never used that language here since I'm not into that. It sounds awkward and boring, he simply said," and I never hurt you. I don't even know you, frankly speaking."

She just stared at Zyd with annoyance.Unknown, Wow! He just mentioned my name and he dont know me? Earlier she was so nervous at the highest level , but for now it is the opposite. She just wanted to beat him even though she's just like a doll in front of him right now, but who cares? She doesn't really care if he knows the language that she uses. It's better that he knows it so that she can talk to him some sh*ts. Stupid man!

"Here." Zyd reached something to her. When Lianne looked at what it was, it was her cellphone. She quickly grabbed Zyd's hand but she also withdrew her hand quickly. He smiled. " After browsing your photos earli--"

"What? And who says that you should interfere with my gallery? Give me my cellphone, give it to me.!" She tried to grab the phone but Zyd just raised his hand and smiled even more.

"Correction, you gave it to me. So, this is mine.''

Lianne was taken aback by what Zyd said. Wait, did he just speak tagalog. Shutaness! Lianne suddenly held her chest with such a fast pulse that she was almost deaf. The captain that he knew and also her chatmate didn't know how to speak tagalog, and also can't understand tagalog.

He's not really joking, he really understands her, but he sounds awkward when speaking tagalog. His words had an accent and she almost burst out laughing.

''What? Do you believe that it's not me?'' he said seriously.

Lianne refrained herself from laughing but she ended up bursting into laughter. He was so slang, he is like a foreign man that migrates to the Philippines.

''What? Dow yow believe that it's naat meee?'' she mimicked what Zyd says and starts to laugh again. Lianne cant move on. Her face could not be painted and she seemed ready to be swallowed up by her imitation.

Lianne was amazed for 10 seconds. But then she remembered that they weren't close, she immediately calmed herself and straightened up. She coughed and fixed herself and stared at zyd. Why did he laugh in front of me?

''I'm going. If you're done with my cellphone, you can give it back to me.'' she turned her back and left without bidding a goodbye. She also ran into the nearest bus stop just to get away from the man's presence.

What was that? She felt her heart for a moment when she got on the bus stop. Her heartbeat almost competed during that time. She frowned and banged on the bus window wondering why she was laughing. He might be thinking that she was cute and one more thing, it hasn't changed her mind that he ghost and scam her heart.

Cheater! She stared into the air and calmed herself.

Zyd just laughed as he drove down the road that night. He didn't know what the laugh was all about, but he still laughed at the misfortune of the woman he knew Lianne Elhouette Vergara because of her phone, before he didn't pay attention to this because of the professional status that he has. Many sought to get him despite the fact that he had a fiancee.

Zyd just shook his head when he remembered the kiss and slap he got from the woman when they were in an Elite's Bar together. The first thing that came to his mind was that she was a die hard fan of his who wanted to be noticed so she got drunk, but when he was slapped and cursed, he was threatened and told that he was a cheater.

He just made sure it was serious and that hurt her so much. But he didn't know what she was talking about and even more he didn't know this girl. The kiss was unexpected and to tell you honestly, only Kate was his first kiss, first girlfriend, first sex. I guess he did everything first on the woman so it is impossible to accuse him.

He followed the girl. He would take back the kiss she had taken from him and he wanted to laugh in those moments, she was cursing him in the language that he knew. It's okay with him because his cousins and crazy friends used to talk to him in Tagalog and it's not that difficult. He just isn't used to it when he's in Pennsylvania because no one understands him and he just looks like he's trying hard to be a filipino by heart.

The woman was beautiful, sexy and he knew that she was a Filipina. On his first glance he followed her on the road. It's just funny because he didn't do this before, but in the end he just forgot what happened. He also forgot that he had her cellphone which he also gave to Kodi but when they met again at the party, he seemed to want to know something about it.

He took the phone from Kodi and swiped the lock to open. He was digging in the gallery and looking at the selfies of it ugly and not presentable. He laughed as he recalled its plastic smiles on the camera. Kate is a beautiful and sophisticated woman named while Elhouette is the opposite. Women who are not his type.

Zyd found in its gallery that there were screenshots and convos of conversations of a person it thought was him. He laughed. Why did she suddenly believe? There were a lot of screenshots and it was probably a poser but when he went to the video recording, he was shocked out of time. They look very similar and vocal. He was shaken at the thought. The woman is a victim so he can't blame her for being so angry with him.

He has no plans to return her cellphone. He also has no plans to return to the shop. They need to focus on their upcoming game next week, it's 3 times in a row so hard practice is needed. He's done recognizing the woman who stole a kiss from him and he'll think it's one of his fans.

A year from now, he will marry the woman he dreamed of before but their wedding was always postponed because their schedules are not the same. They are both busy with their chosen professions but now, they are both getting older. She is 31 and Kate is 30. He was out of breath and became serious about driving. He wanted to go home and rest.
