"Leave." As cold as an ice, she says as Vincent opens the door of the vehicle for her.
She managed to somehow stop the bleeding by pressing so hard on her own hand. They are now at the parking lot of The Atelier in Manhattan where she lives while she is here in New York.
The tall handsome guy just looked at her like what she said is the stupidest thing he'd ever heard. Gabrielle rolls her eyes and started walking to the building now.
She has no time argue more with this stranger. She's getting dizzy probably because of the wounds... but more than that, she's getting dizzy because of how her father is interfering her life again.
Closing her eyes tightly as she begins to have tunnel vision, Gabrielle leans on her side on the wall of the elevator for support. Her right hand is shaking, her top and pants are spilt with her own blood.
"Which floor...?" She hears Vincent ask her before feeling his huge warm hand on her bare shoulders.
"You're cold..." He says before catching her as she gets weaker.
The cut must be really deep and she cursed. If it could kill her, it would've been fine. But it isn't as if a couple of cuts could actually cause her death which she wouldn't mind as her life is just so hateful.
"I'll be fine.." She rolls her eyes pushing his hands away only to lose balance.
"I told you I'll bring you to the hospital!" He says as he catches her and carries her again. This time in a bridal style.
"You're heavier than your weight.." He Scoffs in German, his mother tongue, which she just frowned to.
"Penthouse... No hospitals.." She says softly letting him carry her.
Right now, she wouldn't admit but she needs someone to just be with her. Someone who could care for her. She's at her most vulnerable, not because of the cuts or the blood she lost.
But because of the turn of events that are pulling her back to the life she hates the most. A life under the roof of her father. A robotic life that ruined her...
Her dreams... and her own mother...
Gabrielle hides her face on his chest ass once again, the horrible memories of how she lost her mother flash back to her mind. The elevator finally opens and he starts walking them out of the suffocating room.
Vincent looks at the young woman in his arms. Her eyes are tightly closed so are her fists. He could almost give in to the urge to kiss her forehead as she hides her face on his chest. He can feel her breathing through the fabric of his shirt which pulls him even closer to just holding her tighter and giving in to kissing her. Right at this moment, they are still strangers to each other, yet...
They are not.
He feels as if his body could recognize hers being next to his like this, her warmth feels like home. Vincent shakes his head.
This is horrible!
He'd only met her couple of hours ago. He shouldn't feel this way for this brat! He shouldn't be trapped in her stunning beauty like this.
He had never been this close to this young woman. The only times he'd seen her were those times when he'd secretly follow and watch her from afar-to see what kind of a girl he is bound to tie himself into.
Not this close... Not to this point when he's already seen her like this. Like the vulnerable girl that she's covering up with her strange personality through the scandals she's involving herself in.
Right now, Gabrielle is nothing more than a girl who is bruised... A girl who is hurt... A girl who needs love and protection. Be it from her own father or someone else... Right now, all he wants to do is uncover and break the image she is covering herself with.
She couldn't be that all bitch... She can't be that all hateful towards her father for no reasons. Something must've made her this way. And not that he would admit, but he wants to know and understand where she is coming from.
After all, he will have to spend his future with her and give her his name.. He stops in front of the door of her penthouse and adjusted her a bit on his arms.
"O530..." She says ina whisper and got surprised that she just gave him her password.
It's just that, right now, she's already too tired to argue and oddly, she never thought of asking him to bring her down.
"You can't just give your password like that to a stranger. You know that don't you?"
"Says the man who steals cars and carries a woman he has no business with." She whispers now on his neck as he adjusted her again so he can key in her password with the same hand that is cupping the back of her tighs.
"I will of course give you back your car key. But your password, I will always have your password now. What if I'm a serial killer?"
"Then you're most welcome to come in and do your killing." She says which made him look at her face.
She looks tired with her eyes closed like that but more than that, she looks sad with the little frown on her face. Gabrielle opens her eyes and meets his blue ones. Vincent, as he calls himself has the deepest blue eyes she had seen. The way he is looking at her is making her look at him more deeply.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
He asks raising an eyebrow at her as he steps in to her lavish house and finds his way to her bedroom... Trying his hard not to shift his gaze to her luscious devil red lips he is so eager to kiss.
"Will you kill me, Vince?" She asks in a desperately sweet tone, if that is even possible.
Vincent was taken off guard with that question... and the way she called him using his nickname... like she had known him for long.
Before he knew it, her hand is already touching his cheek. He can smell the blood on them but he couldn't care. Like a vampire, he closes his eyes and feels the warmth from her blood covered hand before he opens them again only to find her eyes staring at his lips.
"Will you kill me?" She repeats as she darts her chocolate brown eyes back to his blue ones.
Her beauty is hypnotizing him... and even before he could do anything to stop himself, he leans forward and stops her from saying another silly word by sealing her lips with a kiss..
Gabrielle stayed still as he pressed his lips gently on hers. He is kissing her!
This stranger is actually kissing her!
And even before she could make a fool of herself when the first instinct she had was to push him, she instead hold on to the back of his neck and kiss him back.
Fuck being righteous this time!
She never gave a fuck kissing stupid arseholes in public just to piss her father off knowing that photos of her doing so will be on papers the next hour. Why would she give a fuck kissing this handsome stranger who could very well irritate her father more had she go out dating him in front of his face.
She is sure as hell her father would hate the fact if she dates one of his employees who obviously hates him given how he helped her destroy his luxurious car awhile ago.
For all she knows, Vincent is one of heer father's pawns to either look after her or one of his paid robots to do jobs that they hate. It would be so annoying for him if she can turn this stranger to her side while slapping her father on the face how much of a disgrace she could be to his name by dating just a paid bodyguard or whatever.
And damn! He kisses good!
It isn't a bad idea after all!
