Hey thanks! Our very long report to the general is also over! Hell! Day off day off I will preach.

I fixed my clothes but I felt a pair of two eyes. I sighed.

"Look so pretty Captain Perez," He smirked

If I'm like other women I'll probably swoon to this stupid asshole but A BIG NO!

I confidently step out from that place heading to my apartment. I hop in to my car when my phone vibrates.

I put the phone down on him. Hmmp! Why men don't just go away when you said them so?

I head to my apartment. I parked my car first before I went inside.

"I MISS MY BED!" I shouted happily

I get my gun and point to the man sitting at my couch comfortably. I narrowed my eyes when I recognized him.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE SCOTT ?!" I shouted

"Didn't I tell earlier that I'll be on your doorsteps or inside if you hang up the phone? And you did!"

He looked at me and gave his dying killer smile. I almost swoon but I don't show it.

My blood suddenly heated up at what he said.

"Don't call me THAT! It's gone if you don't want your head to explode!"

"Who did you fool?" He asked calmly

My lip is flattened. He won't be afraid of my gun? He can be ready.

I go near him and used my combat skills. I twisted his arm.

"SHIT! DON'T DO THAT!" He hissed

"Are you leaving or will I break you ?!"

"OKAY !!!,"

"What ?!"

"Okay. I'll stay,"

I frozed when he smirked. In just a seconds he pulled me to the couch and hover above me.

"F-f*ck you! Get out of there!"

I cheeks heat up. His face was so close to mine. He pressed our foreheads together.

"Don't you know? I like tough girls. I like you,"

I can feel my cheeks heating up from the closeness of our face. His nose touch to mine. His lips were about to touch mine when I kicked him.

Of what he was proud of.

He writhed in pain as he held the part I kicked. I bit my lips.

I narrowed my eyes at him. So will he hurt me? What a gentleman! I stood up and crossed my arms.

"WE'RE NOT GOING TO HAVE A CHILD!" he shouted

My jaw dropped on the floor. Did I hear him right? MALAMANG! I can guess that my face is already red with anger!

His eyes widened as I slapped him on the vase on the table. He stepped backward.

"What the hell? You were really going to hit me with that ??!" Tristan

"YES! IF YOU DON'T LEAVE MY APARTMENT!"

"Tss! I will leave but I won't never come to have you," Tristan

He gave me his demonic smile before walking out the door. I released a breath.

"Bwiset! He's so ..... hot,"

Audry's POV

"Damn !!! Whatever you do I won't do what you want !! Just f*ck off! We're been arguing these thing over and over again!" I heard Ace shout

The day I waited for him to return. He came home late. I did not show up to him when he came. He looked so exhausted and mad. I want to ask him but ....

He forbid me to do that

I just bent down from where I was hiding. I feel some pain every time I think .... I'm just a toy. I sighed. I was about to leave when I heard him say my name.

"Audry,"

It's not a question. It somehow like a command. I looked at him. He's just starring right at me.

"What are you doing here? Is everything all right?" He asked

Does he care for me?

"Y-yes. I just passed by. J-just want to check if you're .... okay," page after page I said

I heard him sigh before he sit on his swivel chair. Tiredness was clearly visible to his face.

"A-are you okay?" I will ask

Question that I have long wanted to ask him. He gestured me to come near to him. And I did. I approached until I came in front of him. He pulled me and let me sit on his lap.

"You can tell me Ace," I said softly

I felt his lips kissing my neck. Electricity hit me once again. I released a deep breath.

"Just work Audry. How's you anyway?" He asked

"I'm fine," I replied

His chin rested on my shoulder while his hands were on my waist. He sighed. His eyes were closed.

"Aren't you bored here? You're been here for almost 1 month now. You're not going out. I told you to go shopping with Tristan," Ace

"Things don't make me happy Ace,"

"Most girls do," she said quickly

"Can I ask something?"

I want to regret what I'd just said. He suddenly fell silent.

"What is it?"

"Why so cold?" I whispered

Silence answered me. I cleared my throat. I touched his face and presented it to me. His cold emerald eyes greet me.

"It's okay if you don't want to. Besides ... I'm not allowed to do that," I smiled at him

"Something just happened before Audry. And it was the most painful yet remarkable event that happened on me. It was the day everything had changed. It was the day everybody left me. It was the day I lost everything. And it was the day when everybody started hating me, "Ace

I can't even read his emotions. I knew in myself that Ace was miserable and hurt. He's a very tough man. Whatever that happened in his past. It was probably the worst day of his life.

"I don't hate you Ace,"

“But you told me you hate before,” Ace

"Maybe yes but not now anymore,"

"Then you must know what you are entering Audry," His eyes darkened

"Would you mind to tell me what is it?" I whispered

"It was something dangerous to handle. So frustrating. Very addicting. My Audry,"

His lips were so close to mine. His grasp tighten on my waist. He loosen his tie without looking away.

I know where this would go ...

But I hope this thing may change him after

That maybe after after this I could save him.

"Let me handle it,"
