Chapter 6

Mom was still making dinner, so Debi came to help her while Dad and I sat at the table and talked.

“You should be proud of the help you've given your sister,” Dad said.

Debi and I set the table a while later while Mom and Dad brought dinner. We chat about what Debi does with her home life and she gets more advice from mom and dad while we eat.

When we were done Debi and I fired Mom and Dad told them we'd be done from here. Debi takes care of the leftovers, while I clear the table, then I start making the dishes.

Debi dried them and put them away. It's strange that we, like our parents, are intentionally spending time in the dishwasher. Then we went with my parents to the living room.

We chatted for a while and Dad told them about my girlfriend, which became a major topic. I told them it was okay and it had only been two days, but they told me I could invite her out to dinner if I wanted to. Then mom and dad called it a night and went to bed to say goodnight to us.

With all the help I gave my sister earlier this morning, all the sex with Teri that morning and all the errands I did to find my dad's things, I already drunk.
