Chapter 03

Cassiopeia Feyre POV

I took a deep breath, I didn't expect that to happen on my second day, who would have thought that my boss' fiance would be so violent.

"Sam, I think you're thinking deeply," Chester asked me as we were together today, because Sir Evan made me get coffee.

He didn't say whose coffee I was going to get, "hahaha don't mind me I'm just thinking about something."

"By the way do you want to have lunch with us?" he asked me.

"Alright."

AFTER making coffee, I went up to the floor where my office is, "Evan, this is coffee," I handed him the coffee.

"That was for you," he said with a smile.

I didn't even ask why I had free coffee, I just went back to my desk just as the door to Boss's office opened, "have you eaten?", turning around to my side while pointing at myself, "yes."

"Yes sir, I had breakfast before going in," I smiled, "but it's not lunch yet, but Chester asked me to join them for lunch."

"Chester?" he asked with an eyebrow raised, he didn't know he was his own employee.

"Yes sir, he is from the sales department. I met him yesterday."

"Alright, how about dinner?," of course I'll eat alone with the mosquitoes I haven't told you I was currently living in a squatter area my house is a little dilapidated and close to demolition.

I need to live in that kind of lifestyle because that is what is written in my information, I was a simple girl living in a squatter area because I was a poor citizen.

"Let's grab dinner together the two of us its my treat," he said before re-entering his office.

I went to Sir Evan, "Sir is being treated, it looks like he needs a blessing," Sir Evan smiled at what I said.

"You don't have to worry, that's just to make up for what ma'am Sabrina did to you," said Sir Evan while shaking his head, I don't know the reason why he shook his head, "even though he's scary, he's still kind ."

"As the saying goes you cant judge a book by it's cover," Sir Evan thumped up at what I said.

I just continued with my work until it was time for lunch, I said goodbye to Sir Evan, I went to see Mikaela at the building's canteen.

"Have you ever met Sir Taker's fiancee?" I nodded to Elizabeth's question, "doesn't she look like a clown because of the thick make up on her face."

I just laughed at what she said.

"So it's true that Boss's Fiancee, he said earlier that she wasn't."

"Well, Sir Taker really doesn't want that, but the woman doesn't stop, that's why sometimes we mistake her for a dog because she goes after Sir Taker," Mikaela gossiped, "because their relationship is complicated. let's just say that it was an arranged marriage between their fathers so in the first place Sir Taker really doesn't want to marry Sabsaban este ma'am Sabrina if it wasn't for her father's order. "

"It's really hard if you choose the one you marry. I rather run away from someone that I loved than getting married by someone you didn't even know and love. I also don't want it to be a one-sided love," said Elizabeth.

"Well, it looks like you have a love life if I'm not mistaken, you're still fragile with your Ex, 2021 is now the trend to find someone new," my friends started teasing and we were just laughing as if we were the loud ones in the group at the canteen sometimes the temptation goes to me.

"How about you Samantha do you have a boyfriend?"

"Actually I don't need a guy to be able to continue living. I'm more okay with being single because I can still do what I want without anyone stopping me."

"You have a point, but let's not lead the destiny because I see that you will meet someone who you will love very much but at the same time he will also crush your personality," I did not say a word to what Mikaela said.

AFTER we ate, we went back to our respective buildings, I still can't get out of my mind what Mikaela said.

I continue to shake my head, I'm still thinking if I should believe it or not.

"Is there something bothering you?" I jumped in no time when someone spoke behind me, his mouth was right in front of me so I could feel his breathing.

"Sir please don't do that I almost lost my spirit because of what you did," I said to sir.

"You can't die from just a little shock," it was as if the world stopped spinning because Sir suddenly started shaking, and in fact it was better for him to talk because of his voice. His voice was smooth and made the knees tremble.

"You know sir, you should speak in Tagalog, it suits your voice better," as we talked differently.

"You're brighter than I expected," I didn't notice that I was like beaming right now.

"Pfftt your vibe will be really strong when you smile, sir," I changed my mind because right now I feel embarrassed." By the way, sir, where are you from?"

"I sent outside to meet someone personally," I just ahh out of nowhere, that's all we talked about and we became silent.

Actually, I didn't expect that he also knows how to socialize with other people, or he is just really shy.

I don't know but I feel safe around him, this time I lost my nervousness when I touch him.

"Welcome back sir... And Sam," Evan greeted us when we sat down at his table, Sir just nodded while I smiled.

Sir and I walked together again until I stopped in front of my table.

"Before you forget let me remind you abo-."

What sir was going to say was cut off when I heard my cellphone ringing, I didn't even hesitate to look at who was calling. it was an unknown number but even so I decided to answer it.

'Blind date tonight at 7:00 pm same area.'

That was the first thing I heard when I answered the call. He didn't even wait for me to speak before hanging up.

well, as if there was a choice, I immediately finished my work until it was 4 pm when I put my things away.

"Oh Sam where are you going?" Sir Evan asked me.

"I'm going home, I have an important appointment so I'll go ahead," I promised with a smile.

"Wait, did you forget that you're having a dinner tonight with our boss?" Yes, I forgot. inform our boss what your reason is.

"Actually I have a blind date today," I said,"so I need to leave, maybe my cadet is waiting," Sir Evan did nothing but nodded.

i still have a time to spend before i go to the said location, so i decided to go in a bakery and buy a strawberry shortcake it was my favorite so i can't live if i don't eat it.

EVENING I didn't waste time and immediately went to the previous meeting place, as soon as I entered the restaurant my eyes immediately found Val. I didn't make a mistake, he arrived earlier at our meeting point.

you heard it right it was Val who I actually gonna meet today, blind date was our code when we want to meet and exchange information.

"Val I'm so-."

"You don't have to, it's a big miracle if you come earlier than me," he looked at me badly so I just gave the peace sign.

"So?" I waited for him to speak again, the two of us stared at each other as if we were challenging each other, but after a while he sighed.

"I'm going to enter there," my forehead furrowed as my face and aura became serious.

"Are you insane? You know it's dangerous to go in there, are you totally lost your mind Val?" I wanted to make him angry but I just remained calm.

"I have no choice, I had to Feyre, you know it's very difficult to get the names of the members of the 7 rulers outside that's why I need to enter their territory," he held my hand."and beside I have my own reason why I'm desperate to enter there, I know you know what it is."

val's father was actually a part of Supreme Godfathers their was the higher and powerful person outside and inside of the underground world aside from Seven Rulers who serve as the heirs of the Supreme Godfathers they are the most powerful of all.

but because Val didn't want to become like his father and choose his own career right now he ran away from his father's hand.

he has a little brother that's why he wants to enter the underground world to search for his little brother and save him.

I let out a long sigh,"alright as if I can stop you from doing what you want to do," he smiled but I kept his face and eyes worried about him, "but please Val be safe, if I don't receive any calls I will come to find you there."

"Thanks but no thanks I can handle myself," he said.

"Are you really sure about it?" I asked again in case he changed his mind, he just laughed weakly with a look of desperation on his face.

"If I died there, nothing can be done if it's my time Feyre it's her time."I was silent when he said, "but don't worry I'll try to survive, and I know someone there that will help me gain information about the 7 rulers."

"Just survive Val," I told him sparingly, "you know that I hate losing important person to me and you're one of them.

"Hahaha I said don't worry," he laughed that's why I glared at him. "by the way how's your mission?"

"Will I don't know if there is any progression on it, it's just I can't tell if my boss trusts me or not, he's too elusive especially that he doesn't accompany me on his personal journey," I started to eat because my stomach was still boiling.

"How about dating habits?" he said with a smile to me and I stopped at what he said.

"Will that work?" I asked.

"I'm sure it will especially since it has been tested so I know if it will have an effect."

Val actually had a point.

"Alright I'll try if it doesn't really work then it's up to you."

"Even if someone is cold, they will give and they will give, just trust in your charisma, Feyre," he said happily.

"I hope you have the same fighting spirit when you get in there," Val just closed his eyes and smiled.

"It's alright, I'll be alright, everything will be fine as long as I'm breathing. I'll be fine, I will find him no matter what the cost," when he said that he widened his eyes and smiled.

Of all the people I knew Val was the strongest and bravest of them all.

I held my breath again, "have you told dad about what you're going to do?" I asked later.

."Yes, at first he didn't allow me because it was too dangerous for me to deal with," he looked into the distance, "but he didn't do anything anymore because he said that we are both stubborn if family is involved in the mission, even that he doesn't want to do anything, personally and if I don't survive, a war will occur between the two groups, they said, "I'll be here to finish them off."

I couldn't stop laughing, "I thought dad said something like that, but I'm sure he can't do it," Val and I laughed at the same time.

After we talk we continue to eat until our paths diverge.

I looked at the sky the moon was bright and there are a lot of stars.

there were few people around, i started humming while walking.

I kept walking until I stopped when I saw a familiar face in front of a bar.

He seems in a hurry because he keeps on looking at his watch, that's why I hurriedly approached him and surprised him.

"Sir, what are you doing here?" he wasn't surprised, but his brow furrowed.

"It's none of your business but what are you doing here where is your date?" he asked me, he was really rude.

"That's right, I sent him home and told him I want to be alone first," I lied, "so I go ahead sir see you tomorrow."

I was about to pass him when he suddenly pulled one of my arms, "I'll take you home. It's dangerous to go for a walk tonight alone."

"Alright, sir, why not-."

"Dino what are you doing here?," I heard a low and modest voice from a woman with a face like an angel and her face was very sweet.
