Pheromones

Kaden ~

These girls were so fucking dumb! What on earth were they doing in this den of dangerous wolves?

And now they would be sharing a room with me these wild animals.

I despised these boys, in fact, everyone hated everyone in this school, but cliques and packs had to be formed for added protection from more dangerous people.

Anyone without a pack here was seen as an easy target for others to use to prove themselves and instill fear on others.

We were all cruel, of course I was not excluded.

The clique that currently ruled the school— The Vicious boys— had dragged me and forced me to be their alpha because everyone could feel the sheer power that emanated from me the very moment I stepped into the school.

They needed me on their side because they knew if I entered any other pack they would instantly be dethroned from their spot as Alphas of Alphas.

I liked the violence they brought to the school, it ignited my overabundamt reserves of adrenaline and I was able to let out years of anger on unsuspecting victims… sick? Yes, I'm well aware.

Now these foolish girls would be my next victims, whatever plans they had coming here would go down the drain, I would personally make sure of it.

Dahlia, I tried to remember her name, her soft looking pink lips parted as she tried to come up with words.

I enjoyed seeing how intimidated she was, I just wanted to ruin her innocence and eat her soul, she looked every bit like the cornered prey she was.

“Hey Kaden!” Silas said as he threw a heavy hand over my shoulder pulling me closer and nudging his chin towards Dahlia who looked as though she wanted to murder us both with her glare.

“He looks quite odd doesn't he?” Silas continued as he stepped towards Dahlia.

“Looks like a girl,” I added and watched with keen eyes as the panic crossed her pretty doe eyes.

I enjoyed it, more than I was willing to admit even to my crazy self.

“Well, its obvious we are your new roommates so I guess we should get to know each other better.” It was Sienna that spoke this time.

She looked identical to Dahlia but her eyes lacked innocence and hidden timidity.

“I’m Caleb and this is my brother Theo,” she gestured towards Dahlia.

I couldn’t help the heavy chuckle that escaped my lips. Everyone turned to look at me and I immediately straightened up.

“I’m Kaden,” I said plainly.

Dahlia’s eyes widened slightly and a faint thankful smile spread on her lips.

How precious! She thought I was playing along with their tomfoolery.

Well, all the better because it would be more satisfying when I broke the farcade and exposed them to the entire school.

I wondered how two weak girls would fare in a school of vicious wolves that needed a woman to fight over, they would be ripped to shreds in no time.

I couldn't wait to see how that would play out.

But first, I needed to know why they were even here in the first place, what ulterior motives did they have? I had motives of my own after all.

I still had to uphold my end of the bargain I made with my foster father or whatever the fuck he was called.

The thought of it soured my mood instantly and the urge to rip something to shreds was immediately overwhelming.

“I don't do silly introductions,” Aurelian said interrupting my train of thoughts as she stepped further into the room. He pulled off his shoes and shirt and stepped into the bathroom running his hand through his platinum hair. Orion followed shortly after, taking off his glasses before entering the bathroom.

Grumpy asses.

The next day came quicky and we were getting ready for football practice, these two weak girls looked so fucking ridiculous in their oversized jerseys, the shoulder pads made them appear like little trolls scurrying around the field in the midst of tall giants.

“Eyes on me, not the grass, rookie!” I barked at Theo as he stumbled through a basic drill, his clumsiness made me itch to throw the ball straight at his head.

He flinched, his lips pressing together, but he didn’t say a word. Smart. At least he knew better than to talk back.

“Silas, ball,” I said, holding out my hand. Silas tossed it, and I spun it between my fingers, watching as Theo jogged back to the line, his shoulders tense. His brother Caleb, wasn’t much better—maybe a little faster, but still too damn clumsy.

I didn’t have time for clumsiness.

We ran the play again. This time, I aimed the ball straight at Theo with enough force to test if he could actually catch.

His hands came up just in time to catch it, but the impact made him stumble back a few steps.

“Run!” I shouted.

He froze for half a second—just enough time to piss me off—then took off down the field like a deer fleeing a pack of wolves. His movements were awkward, and I could already see Orion zeroing in on him like a missile.

But then Theo surprised me. He threw the ball. And for a second, I thought it was going to land in no man’s land.

But it didn’t. It flew straight into my hands in a perfect spiral.

I caught it effortlessly and jogged toward him, my smirk widening as I saw the mix of relief and frustration on his face. “Not bad,” I said, tossing the ball to Silas. “But next time, try not to look like you’re about to wet yourself.”

He glared at me, his chest heaving, and I swear I saw a flicker of fire behind those pretty eyes.

“You could’ve warned me,” he snapped.

I laughed—a deep, slow sound that made him clench his fists. “And miss out on the fun of making you mad? Not a chance.”

The rest of practice was a blur. Caleb and Theo kept up, barely, but it was clear they were out of their depth.

The field belonged to the wolves, and they were nothing but weak sheep trying to blend in.

By the time we wrapped up, everyone was drenched.

“Good effort,” I said, my tone sharp enough to remind them that praise didn’t come easy from me. “Some of you—” my gaze landed on Caleb and Theo, deliberately— “still have a lot to prove. But we’ll see if you survive the week.”

The guys laughed, low and mocking. I didn’t.

I was— distracted, Theo’s shirt was now wet and the material clung close to his skin and I could see the mounds that were barely there on his chest, highly bound by bandages, I wondered how he could even run around the field with that.

As everyone broke apart, I hung back with Theo— I could call her Dahlia now we were alone.

I walked over until I was close enough to see the way her fingers tightened on her soft thighs when she realized I was behind her.

“You’ve got guts, I’ll give you that,” I said, my voice low. Her head snapped up, those wide eyes locking on mine. “But you’re not fooling me, Dahlia. Whatever game you’re playing here, I’ll figure it out.”

Her lips parted in shock, but no words came out as she looked around sharply to make sure nobody heard.

“I’m not playing any games,” she finally said, her voice was clipped.

I leaned in, close enough to see the faint sheen of sweat on her smooth creamy skin and the way the slender column of her throat bobbed as she swallowed.

“Your appearance might fool everyone, but your scent isn’t, soon enough all these Alphas would loose their minds over your pheromones unless something is done about it.”

She stepped away from me and her chest heaved as she took a few steadying breaths that had nothing to do with the match.

“What can be done about it?” She asked with innocent curiosity.

“You both need to be fucked by some alpha’s— hard,” I said and I hated the jolt of electricity that shot directly through the length of my cock at the thought of that.

Her pretty mouth hung open in horror and a smirk graced my lips.

“At least twice a week,” I added to aggravate her further.
