Chapter-6

The journey to Xander's home and his pack was very tiring. Throughout the journey I slept like a dog. The whole time Xander was sitting beside me . I was sleeping in his lap. It felt comfortable there. I could feel his soft touches and his small kisses. He thought that I didn't know but I was just pretending to be asleep. It is very difficult to resist your mate and most importantly I have taken the advantage of Xander of more than he has taken of me. I am practically sleeping on him but I can feel that his Lycan is very happy and proud after meeting us.

When we reached there Xander softly woke me up. I actually fell asleep after listening to his rhythmatic heartbeat. There were so many people who came out to greet us. They were looking genuinly happy and I felt a very warm welcome from them. The warriors of the Xander went down to one knee and greeted us. I acted surprised in front of him and asked him what they are doing and then he told me

"In our tribe whenever a guest of high importance come to our place we greet them like this."

I was amazed by watching the strength of the Xander's royal pack. After that I met Xander's best friend Damon who I know is his beta.

Then Xander showed me my room which was next to his room as he wanted me to stay closer to him.

The whole day I slept and When I was sleeping I felt someone knocking at my door. I slowly got up and when opened the door and saw Xander looking so fresh and me with tousled hair and blue camisole and white shorts. I can see his ear turning red and him trying his best to control his Lycan whose presence I can see in his eyes. I didn't give him much trouble and ran away to my washroom like I was embarassed. I was happy seeing his expression . It means that he is affected by me. And it is not that only he wants me I also want him. I changed into pajamas and white t shirt. When he saw me he was little dissappointed but relieved. He took me to the dining hall where we had dinner with the other pack members. He told me about his pack except their true Nature. But I am happy that he is trusting me so much.

After dinner we went to our rooms and I know that he wanted to kiss me but that would be too sudden so I turned towards him and hugged him and said

"Thank you for helping me so much."

He smiled and in his soft voice he said

"Don't mention it."

He then kissed my forehead and left to his room. There was shock on my face but then it converted into a full blown smile as it was the first time my mate kissed me when he knows I am not sleeping. And I must say his kii worked as I slept peacefully.

Next morning when I woke up I went downstairs and started cooking breakfast. Nobody was awake. I cooked breakfast and went outside for a run .

Xander. POV.

When I woke up it was 9:00 a.m. The whole pack was awake. I took bath and went to Raven's room to wake her up but when I went there she wasn't there. I went downstairs and saw that the packhouse cooks were standing there. The food was on the dinning table but nobody was eating it. When I asked them they told me that somebody other that the cooks had made the breakfast and they don't know who? I was shocked and scared for a moment. I don't know if she ran away from me because she felt offended when I kissed her. My chest started paining and when I was about to order my whole pack to look for their luna I saw Ravey entering the dinning hall . When she looked at them she said

"Why you all guys are standing here?"

She went near the dinning table and started eating sausages. I stopped her and then she asked me

"Why?"with a cute frown on her face.

"Ray we don't know who made it? It can be poisonous."

"Hey. Relax I made it. I woke up early in the morning . I was free so I cooked and then went for a run."

And then I realised that Raven doesn't have any scent which is strange but she is my mate so she has to be little bit strange. I have to investigate it. I don't suspect Raven but I want to find the reason behind it whether it is harmful for her.

My lycan felt proud that our mate is so considerate that she cooked sufficient enough food for everyone. I took her hands and kissed them and said

"Thank you." She blushed and After that everybody relaxed and started devouring the food.

Then Ray went to her room to take bath and I to my office. After finishing the office work I went for training.

I was missing her but firstly I want her to be comfortable. My two female guards were with her for protection and they were keeping me update about her activities.

Right now we all are training heavily in the training field. We are doing combats. I was fighting with Damon but then i felt Ray's presence and saw her blushing. When she looked at others she ran away from there. I got confused by her action and then realized that we all were bare chested.
