Marriage

I paced around the master suite  room, Sarah already gone, to save Asher in my clothes and here I am wearing a yellow ruffled sundress of Sarah as she wore my clothes so that her father's men who are guarding outside did not get any idea that she is fleeing away

I glanced at my phone screen as I

clasp my hands to the chest, she told me that she will call me when she and Asher will be at a safe place so that after that, I can also go away from this hotel

But, before that, I can't because everyone thinks that she is in this room, getting ready for her marriage, but it's me actually

The door of her room swing opened making me jolt suddenly, I took a slow intake of uneven breath quickly turning away so that my face can't be visible, my back is facing that person who just entered

"Sarah, you didn't get ready yet," I heard a women's voice

I didn't answer them, I felt a burn of bile in the back of the throat

I heard their footsteps coming over my way, I tightly closed my eyes,

making my stomach hardening

they will see me now, Sarah also didn't message or call me that she and my brother are safe now

God, what will I do now

I feel someone's hand on my shoulder,

I felt a hard thudding in my chest from an increased heart rate, I turned around

"What the hell, who are you, where is my daughter," that woman growled at me as her brows frowned

"Who are you," a man in Marron expensive tuxedo, he is looking in his mid-fifties hissed at me

Suddenly, my phone buzzed, indicating a message is been arrived just yet

I looked at my phone's screen, it's Sarah's message

"Emberly, me and Asher are now at a safe place, currently, we are going towards the airport, we will go far away from this place, I will call you later."

Below her message, there is a picture of Asher and her, they both are in a car probably in a way towards the airport

I closed my eyes while pressing my hands to the stomach and thanked God that our plan worked, now my brother and she are safe and fine

"Answer me damm it," that middle-aged man growled, even his jaw clenched darkly at me

"I...I don't know anything, I just come here to deliver these food orders to Sarah as she ordered it," I uttered at them while fidgeting my fingers, swallowing praying that they will believe in my lies

Suddenly, the phone of that man, I mean Sarah's father rang, making me jump

He picked up the call, his face went pale hearing words from another line

But, soon his face hardened darkly, his eyes went red with rage,

"Your useless daughter runs away with her useless boyfriend," he snapped at that woman, I mean Sarah's mother

Her face also get pale, she is opened her mouth to say but nothing comes out, she closed her eyes and leaned against the wall

"What we will do now, I can't let my company get bankrupt," Sarah's father whispered while massaging his head

I slowly tried to move back, trying hard not to get noticed by anyone, but before I can make out

Someone grabbed my arm so tightly and slammed me hard over the  wall

I winced due to pain in my back and slowly peeked at a person, it's Sarah's father looking at me, with his jaw tightened

"Get ready, in this dress, you are going to get married to Adrian," he ordered me while throwing the white bridal gown over my face

I peeked at him, hearing his words my seems like someone I felt my slowed breathing and heartbeat, even I can feel my body getting drained with energy, heaviness in my limbs

"W.....What," I manage to utter looking at him wide-eyed

This is not possible, how can I marry Adrian

Sarah's father, I mean Mr.Winston slammed the flower base so hard over the floor, making me flinch, and grabbed me by my hair so hard and yanked my head towards him

"Don't even spill a word in front of anyone, if you love your little shit life, Adrian will sign that deal papers, you will marry him and make sure your face is hidden until this wedding is over," he said while baring his teeth, I can see his eyes get darken with his muscles getting tensed 

Finally, he released me and I fall over the floor, my body feels so tired and exhausted without any energy.

My throat burns dried as I swallowed while looking at that man in Infront of me standing in alter of the church, my face is hidden with a long veil while I am walking with Mr.Winston as for world it's Sarah Winston who is going to be married soon but now it's me

I observed Mr.Adrian Campbell, he was adored by the fairer sex for his black hair. It was a casual jumble sometimes but mostly neat and flowing. His crescent-of-moon eyebrows were thin and narrow. He carried an imperious nose well and his angular cheekbones carved down towards a flinty jaw.  he had a manly, Samson physique...

His brown eyes were orb around and darted constantly, a-gleam with delight and the vigor of youth. They were soft, Brown eyes and swam with joy. They shone brightly as two sapphires dipped in milky pools.  The swirl of his loamy cologne had them swooning in the aisles.

Oh God, Adrian Campbell the CEO of Campbell Empire, I can't believe, that I am seeing him in real, actually he is my role model, I want to become like him, he didn't take over his father's company but he worked so hard and established his Empire, and the result is now Campbell Empire is the most successful and renowned multinational company in the whole world, they are mainly construction empire as they built and distribute tenders of  waterparks, malls, airports, not only this they even they owned chains of seven-star, five-star luxurious hotels with several airlines

Aaron Campbell, I will be soon to be married to him

I felt someone squeezing my arm hard, I snapped my head and found Mr.Winston glaring at me

"Remember, if you open your little mouth then I will destroy your trash brother's life," he said with barred teeth while his eyes have a sinister look

Drawing in slow, steady breaths, I nodded weakly

I don't want to marry him, technically I am betraying him

But what can I do I am so helpless this time, I don't have any other option but to marry him

I stand beside him, he didn't look at me, his face is cold emotionless like he is not interested in this marriage

We faced the priest, the priest started hymns of marriage

I think I should run away from this alter before this marriage happen because if this marriage happens then everything will be messed up so badly

I felt something over my hand I looked down, and bite my lip when I saw the very beautiful diamond ring, I can ever see in my whole life, suddenly, I heard a deep husky voice

"I do," my eyes widened and I silently cursed myself this can't happen, he already accepted me as his wife not me but by Sarah's name

The priest looked at me

"Do you take the Adrian Campbell, to behold your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you apart, according to God's holy law, in the presence of God you make this vow?"

I wanted to scream, 'no." But then I looked at Mr. Winston

Just by looking at him, I understand that it's a very bad idea so I quickly closed my eyes and clench my hands into fists

Let me do this, for the sake of my brother

"I do." I swallowed like a low whisper and looked at the wedding ring, in my hand, I bit my lips while making him wear that, I can feel my hands getting trembling so badly

"Now, you may kiss the bride," the priest said and my eyes widened, a kiss how can, no I don't want him to kiss me, I always wanted my first kiss to be meaningful and only with the person I love, he doesn't even know me who I am, how can I allow him to kiss me

My whole body burned with strange sensation when I felt him coming near me, suddenly Sarah's mom, Mrs.Winston comes

"Adrian, please lift her veil little so that her face can't be visible fully, as this is a tradition of our family, hope you will understand," she said to him while fidgeting her fingers looking at Mr.Winston

I looked around to find something to stop this all, but I gasped a little when

I felt his hands around my waist making me shuddering

Then I felt, his soft lips brush lightly with mine, I felt so good when his lips touched mine, I closed my eyes as my knees were trembling, I quickly gripped his shoulders to support my body, but soon I came back into my senses, my eyes widened slightly when he pulled me apart from me.
