Chapter 3

Chase's POV

I woke up from my long and peaceful sleep in my wife’s Old bedroom and I pulled anything I can find from the floor so I dressed up to the shower that was right across Danleigh's room, I went to shower and came back to wear my Nike black sweatpants, white socks, slides and a white and blue shirt, that’s what I put on then I went downstairs.

I see the ladies busy in the kitchen, making breakfast then I went to greet them and kissed Danleigh's lips.

“Hey, how did you sleep?”

“I miss our bedroom.” I told her

  “Funny, tonight we’re leaving don’t worry.” She said

I went to join my father in law who was seated in the lounge area reading a newspaper.

 “Oh well, Warsan's wedding is making headlines. The now sister in law of the famous adult actor Chase Shire is getting married.”

My father-in-law Pete reads from the latest published article.

  “Isn’t that great news?” I asked him.

  “It us but I didn’t want your name in the title. Its embarrassing.” He said

I rolled my eyes, Pete and his wife were always annoying the crap out of me, I quickly wanted the day to end so I go back to my house with their daughter.

A little later we had breakfast and helped to clean the backyard where Greg and Warsan were getting married at, then we went to shower and prepared ourselves because we were leaving.

“I'm proud if you man. I’m glad you have your own family.” I congratulated my cousin Greg who embraced me tightly.

   “Ya well…I’m patiently waiting for you too brother.” He told me.

I got married to the love of my life yes, but when it came to kids! I was not even considering to have myself one. Daisy was a pain in the ass.

“Goodbye mom and dad, little Daisy.”

Danley kisses Daisy's pink cheeks and embraced her parents as well as Greg and his wife.

 “Take care.” Said Greg and we were now heading to our car and driving away.

It was a long ride but we eventually reached Miami after a few hours from West Virginia.

“Welcome to home sweet home.”

I was pleased to be back home! To my comfort zone and my area, where I get no judgment for what I do, with this amazing wife of mine.

“So…what do we do now?” Danleigh asks me

“Anything you want to do?” I said

   “Oh I remembered, I have work tomorrow babe, I’ll go iron my clothes.”

“Okay.”

She went to iron her clothes and I lay on the couch and watched a few movies before I could start playing video games. I received a phone call at around nine thirty pm and I answered with Danleigh in the other room.

  “Hey what’s up?”

My manager Chris was on the phone.

 “Uh…okay. Fine.”

I hung up and Danleigh came to me.

 “Can we please go to bed?” she asks me with her pretty voice.

She sat on my laps.

   “I wish I could baby girl but I gotta go.”

She gives me a heart-breaking look, I could see she was trying to hide it as always. She knew what I meant.

 I see her get up from my laps and doesn’t look at me.

 “Lock the door when you leave.” She tells me and she goes back to the bedroom.

I hate breaking her heart like this, but I’m doing what I always wanted to do and I just wanted her to understand and make peace with it.

I took my car keys and my hoodie then I left our home to work, to fuck another girl and release the video soon yes that’s my work.

Danleigh’s POV

After he told me he had to go, I knew what he was talking about, there I was trying by all means to hide my heart break! Like I always do! I just prayed everyday that Chase Shire would change and enjoy his life with only one person! Nobody in my circle liked my husband sleeping with other females regardless of the money they make out of it.

I was offended and then I left to bed, I wished he would turn around and come hold me in our bed, I kept asking myself what would happen if I went and fucked another person and say that’s who I am! Would he like it? Would he be just as hurt? Would it make a difference even? I was disgusted by the attention he was getting and the work he was doing.

Next day I get up and he’s not there, I went to shower and prepared myself for work. I was an attorney at a famous Law firm. When I suddenly received a call from my boss who just fired me from the phone call, unbelievable.

“I’m firing you because of the notorious insulting image you bring to our company, having a pornstar husband is way too much for any client in our firm, we are sorry for this Mrs Shire.”

I was heart broken! Devastated and angry! I received all my lawful papers for I am now fired! I went to get Chase’s whiskey and finished all of it out of anger there I was on the floor, crying my eyes out and drinking another bottle.

Chase showed up and he was surprised to see me in the state I was in.

 “Babe? What’s going on?

 “You’re ruining my life, Chase.” I was in tears

I could see the confusion on his face.

“Babe what are you talking about, I need to know what’s going on” he said politely

I stood up and faced him, I wished I had the guts to just spit in his face.

 “I got fired today because somehow it was reported that I’m married to you!” I yelled from the top of my lungs

“So, somebody published an article about our relationship?”

 “Its your fault Chase, now my career is ruined because of you, what more do you want from me? I give you love! I care for you and I do absolutely everything and anything for you but did you have to go and mess with my career?!”

“I did no such! Babe I didn’t know that someone has reported us to the media, I would never play with your career but I feel like you’re doing this because you’ve always wanted to blame me for anything since I do something you hate.”

The guts this man had!

 “Don’t you dare make my career about you, I work a serious job here, a reputable and respectful job to help people do you hear me?!”

I had to remind him!

 He smiled

“Of course, you do baby girl. Why are you still sticking around then? If you think that I’m messing up your life then why don’t you fucking go?!”

“Fine then!”

I went to my bedroom and took out a small suitcase, next thing I know I’m packing whatever I find in my wardrobe and I rush out of this disgusting house, I went to my car and drove out, leaving Chase all by himself, I was furious, outraged, berserk, I knew if I stayed there any more minute it was going to be hell.

I didn’t know where to drive to, I had friends but I swear we were just friends and our bond was not just as deep as it used to be. I drove to Liam's penthouse, Liam is Chase’s best friend.

I knocked on his door and he opened for me, I fell on his shoulders in tears and he pacified me.

 “Hey, its okay I’m here, its okay”

His voice was warming and comfortable, enough to calm me down.

 Later on he made coffee for the both of us, brought me a blanket and lit the fireplace.

  “How do you feel?” He asked

I felt like crying when I looked at him, I was ashamed if I told him what I was feeling then like everyone else he’d get annoyed and be like “I told you so” Liam has warned me about Chase years ago and told me if I decide to marry him I should prepare myself for an enormous heartbreak! I suppose he was right.

“I lost my job a few hours ago, somebody reported my relationship with Chase and now I got fired because I am a bad image for the factory.”

I could feel tears rolling down my cheeks, then I wiped them. Liam came to sit next to me and I lay on his shoulders.

  “I’m so sorry, I’m sure you’ll get a job soon you’re a very good attorney that’s for sure.”

I nodded.

Chase’s POV

“We need to find whoever that linked that information Chris.” I was furious

  “We will, don’t worry about it just do your job and we’re good.”

Chris didn’t even look bothered, my fucking wife has not been talking to me for a whole fucking week and he’s telling me not to worry. I picked up my phone and looked if I received any messages from Danleigh, still nothing I have lost count of the calls and messages I have sent her with no reply for the entire week. I wanted to know where she was, if she was okay.

I called her sister but she was on honeymoon and I asked Liam, my best friend but he also didn’t know, I was worried sick about her, I could only hope she was doing okay wherever she was.

Her friends also didn’t know where she had went!

I released another video and after two weeks Danleigh shows up at our house, looking just miserable, like she never stopped crying since the last day I have seen her!

She was in her white shirt, grey sweater, black vans and black sweatpants.

There we were standing in front of each other but a distance silently.

 “Hey, how are you doing?” I asked her.

She ran to embrace me and cried; I held her tight.

 “Oh baby”

I said under my breath, I felt her body against mine, I have missed this, missed her!

This was how it was like! I was the only man to break and fix Danleigh's little heart, even when she was scared of me she was still scared of losing me, when she was hurt and wished to be away from me she was getting even closer to me and that was when I knew that this girl, this girl is mine, and mine only.

I let her cried it out and let it all out. Then I went to lay her in bed like a little baby she was to me, she cried herself to sleep with my arms wrapped up around her body for safety and comfort.

The next morning I got up early, freshened up and prepared her favourite for breakfast then I waited for her to wake up as I watched her asleep.

She got up with my eyes on her.

 “Hey princess”

“Hey.” “I have made your favourite, I hope you like it”

Danley started to eat quietly.

 “I'm sorry.”

I apologized politely

 “Look Chase, it wasn’t your fault at all. You did not force me to marry you five years ago and you are not the one that linked that information, I was hard on you for whatever reason.”

“its okay baby, we have make mistakes and it was your right to get angry like that, I understand you loved your job more than anything else.”

She jumps to me and starts kissing me softly, I kissed back. I literally missed those lips, I caressed her and lay her down on our bed then I started kissing every uncle of her body and even reached her groin, there she was staring at me with her pretty hazel eyes, those innocent eyes.

Liam gave me a handshake.

I haven’t seen him in weeks.

Liam kissed Danleigh's hand

“Thank you guys for coming.”

A lot of girls came running to us and they grabbed my hands and took pictures with me, they were all talking at once I couldn’t even hear what they were saying!

They pulled me away from Liam and Danleigh.
