Chapter. 4 Cyra Faints

Cyra stood in the middle of Felix's private room, her head lowered.

Meanwhile, Felix glared at her, his look expressing a desire to finish her off right then and there.

"What's your name?" Shouted Felix.

But Cyra remained silent, her hands squeezed together, overcome by fear.

"Answer me, you bitch!" he rebuked.

Cyra shed tears but remained silent. On the other hand, Felix was already emotional because of the woman's silence.

"Insolent! You dare to defy me, huh?" He quickly stepped towards the girl and tightly gripped her mouth.

Cyra's tears flowed. "What's your name, you idiot? Why are you silent? Are you mute or deaf, huh?" Felix's grip pained Cyra even more, but she stared sadly at him.

"Damn! Why does this woman's gaze feel familiar to me? Who is she really?" he muttered to himself.

However, Felix preferred to indulge in his heightened emotions rather than listen to his heart.

"What's your name, huh? Look what you've done to Mopi!" Felix forcefully pulled the woman's body, revealing several disturbing photos of Mopi.

"I wasn't the culprit, sir," Cyra finally spoke.

"Ha-ha-ha, you finally spoke up, you cheap woman!" he exclaimed, then let go of Cyra's weak body, allowing her to fall to the floor.

"I'm not a cheap woman! I also didn't hurt your pet dog, sir," she said as she struggled to get up from the floor and stand straight.

"How dare you answer me, huh? How many thieves confess? If there were, the prison would be full! You will face the consequences of your actions! Remember that, bitch!" Felix said, raising his hand as if to slap Cyra's smooth cheek. But before he could do so, Cyra suddenly collapsed on the floor and bounced hard.

Blood started to trickle from her temples. "What's wrong with this girl? Why did she fall on her own? I haven't even slapped her yet," he wondered aloud. He quickly checked Cyra's pulse by touching her wrist. "She's still alive," he muttered quietly.

Felix opened the door to his private room. There, Bik Upik's worried face paced in front of the entrance.

"Mr. Felix, have you finished with Miss Cyra?"

"Come in," he said curtly.

"Where is Miss Cyra?" Bik Upik inquired.

"There ..." Felix casually pointed to the floor.

"Oh my gosh, sir. What happened to Miss Cyra?"

"I don't know, she suddenly collapsed," he said, his tone cold.

Felix swiftly carried Cyra's unconscious body and laid her on the king-size mattress in the room.

"Call Doctor Galang immediately," he ordered.

"Yes, Young Master," Bik Upik replied, promptly contacting Felix's regular doctor.

Bik Upik: "Hello, doc."

Doctor Galang: "Hello. Why are you calling me? Is Felix's condition acting up again?"

Bik Upik: "No, doc, Young Master is very healthy. It's just that Miss Cyra is in a serious condition right now. We are waiting for you to arrive as soon as possible."

Doctor Galang: "Cyra? Cyra, who is that?"

Bik Upik: "I'll explain later, doc. Please come here immediately."

Doctor Galang: "All right, I'll be right there."

After that, Doctor Galang prepared to go to his friend's house.

"Young Master, I just called Doctor Galang; he's on his way here," Bik Upik informed.

"That's good. Take care of her; don't let her escape. I have some business with Peter in the other room," Felix said, then left the room.

"Yes, Young Master," Bik Upik replied.

The maid approached the bed and observed Cyra's weakened condition.

"Miss, I'm sorry. I couldn't do anything," she said, covering Cyra's weak body.

"What has Mr. Felix done to you, Miss? Why did you faint like this?" The redness around Cyra's mouth did not escape Bik Upik's notice.

Felix entered another private space within his house, where Peter had been waiting for him for some time.

"How did it go? Are all the papers in order?" Felix inquired.

"Yes, sir."

"Give it to me; I want to check it myself." Peter handed a letter from the civil registration office to Felix, containing both his and Cyra's names.

"Cyra Alesha, so that's her full name?" Felix mused to himself. "Why does that name sound familiar to me?" he wondered again.

"Young master, here is the part you need to sign," Peter said, handing a pen to Felix.

Felix took the pen and began signing the document for its validity.

Peter checked Felix's signature. "Perfect! Now, just Miss Cyra's signature, sir."

"Do we need her signature now?"

"The sooner, the better, sir," Peter explained, reassembling the document.

Felix fell silent.

"Unfortunate!"

"What's wrong, sir?" Peter inquired.

"The girl is currently unconscious."

"What? But how is that possible?"

"I don't know; she suddenly fainted," Felix replied.

"So, what about these important letters?"

"Oh, yes. Can we use a fingerprint?"

"I don't think so, sir, unless the prospective bride and groom are illiterate," Peter explained.

"Young Master, please be considerate of Miss Cyra for the time being until she signs all these documents," Peter advised.

"What are you saying? Do I have to be kind to that woman? Are you blind, huh? She's the one who almost killed Mopi! How dare you!" Felix rebuked.

"Young Master, please think wisely at this time. We only have a week to arrange all the legalities of your and Miss Cyra's marriage," Peter reminded.

"Whatever! Don't force me to be kind to that woman!"

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Peter responded.

Bik Upik entered the room. "What's wrong, Bik?" Peter asked.

"Young master, if Doctor Galang asks about Miss Cyra later, how should I answer him?"

"Has Doctor Galang arrived?" Peter inquired.

"Doctor Galang will arrive in ten minutes," Bik Upik replied.

"Don't say anything to the doctor. In ten minutes, Young Master and I will head there," Peter decided.

After hearing Peter's explanation, Bik Upik left the room.

"What about the arrangement I mentioned earlier, Young Master? The choice is yours now," Peter said.

"But I was only nice to her until she signed the papers, right?"

"At least act the part when there are others around, sir. That way, they will believe that your relationship is genuine."
