Elena’s POV

“Señora, I’m Elena Tuazon, it’s okay with me if you only accept Gail, I also fulfilled Alexandra’s last will.” I said to Gail’s grandmother, If I didn’t even admit I was really nervous because I did not expect too much wealth of Alexandra’s parents and I’m embarrassed.

“I’m Casandra Gonzaga, what is it Elena? cut the formality. Do not consider me as a different person because you even do not know my daughter you took care of my granddaughter without asking for compensation, and also I will not dismiss you because I know my grand daughter will not allow it either. , I’m really ashamed of you because of my grand daughter I guess you did not got married just for taking care of here.” she smiled jokingly at me.

“its okey señora.” I smiled awkwardly but because of her joke the atmosphere seemed to lighten maybe she felt I was nervous so she joked.

“Don’t think of yourself as different Elena just call me aunt or mom, Alexandra is my only child so I really felt sad when she suddenly left us without saying anything or goodbye and can no longer be found anywhere including her husband. I also could not work properly because of the loss of our child it was also a long time before we received that we might never see her again.” Her eyes were sad as if at any time her tears would fall. I felt pity for her because she remembered her daughter.

“I’m sorry t-aunt if I reminded her.” I apologize sincerly

“What’s wrong with that ,don’t worry my husband and I also accept the reality and we already moved on, go ahead and go to the guest room so you can rest. Goodnight Elena.” she turned to me with a smile.

“Thank you very much again t-aunt.” I was still hesitant to call her aunt but I will train myself so that somehow she will be relieved.

She called one of their maid to take me to my room atleast I lost my nervousness that they might not accept me because most of the rich are not kind as Señora Casandra I just wished Gail and I would not have a hard time -adjust to our new environment especially her and she will study in the city . I walked next to the woman guiding me to my room.

I thanked the person who delivered me before entering the room, it was amazing feeling because it was big as our house in the province. I took out my wand and chanted spells to put a protective barrier all over the house for Gail’s sake.

I went straight to the bathroom to take a bath after taking a bath I lay down in my bed there is also aircon in the room but the problem is I don’t know how to use or how t make it so I just let it go and I went to sleep.
