"Y-you know him?" I asked in surprise, Gaia is sitting right next to me with a poker face.

"A- you also know her princess?" Stella asked nervously, I nodded. Is Gaia popular here? but I didn't hear anything then?

"Since you have a maid, you should get a Knight." I swallowed when he added, how did he know that I also need a Knight?

"He's calling you..." Luca looked in our direction and glared at me but also looked at Gaia. "Gaia."

"WHAT?!" We shouted at the same time except for Gaia who was calm while chewing my muffin.

“Well, I appreciate the help. But I will look for someone else or I will not hire a knight anymore. I will only take Stella." I explained while clapping. Why is he helping me?

"You're a noble right? Princess Solaria?” asked the one with dark blue hair. "I'm Evander Karlsen."

I stopped and looked at him, Evander... Karlsen? That does ring a bell but where did I hear that? "No just call me Sol. I don't want to be called a princess.”

"Actually I will accept the offer if you're still looking. Don't worry you can count on me and I will be loyal of course. I'm also good at fighting and Stellarys and I are friends so you can trust me."

My mouth fell open, what? why are they helping me? That's kind of weird, I looked at Gaia. I don't know why but she is also looking at me, why is she even doing this?

But instead of answering, Gaia came closer to me like she did earlier where her face was close to mine. She's staring at me weirdly so I can't help but bow.

"IS it settled? Evan will be your Knight if you don't have any objections." I couldn't speak because of what he did, my heart beats loudly as if it will explode because of the force of the beating.

"W-don't worry Princess! You can count on Evan like me.” Stella encouraged me, Pacifica and Luca were silent. They were at the counter just looking at us...

In the end, I just agreed. I'm kind of terrified because of what happened, she only used her eyes to scare me. who is this person? Her are awra is sooo off… seems unfeminine.

"When do we start, Princess?" Evander asked. "Oh and you can call me Evan! It's a pleasure working under you Princess.”

I just smiled and nodded. "I guess you will start tomorrow."

"Yes." Stella and Evan said together. Luca and Pacifica approached.

"Since you're friends with Gaia, I guess we could be one too." Luca suddenly said, huh friends? Is this how you make friends? "Wh-why are you crying?!"

"Did you make me cry?!" Gaia and Pacifica asked at the same time. I- I'm crying? "Are you ok Princess?!"

"A-ah nothing, i- I'm just happy that you thought of me... as a friend." I bowed and answered, yeah it's been so long. I had no friends back then because of what my brother made me do.

All of a sudden, the surroundings got quiet and it's getting awkward. "A-ah never mind what I said, I'm leaving because Grandmother might be looking for me."

"Oh sure, come visit us whenever you want." Gaia replied with a smirk.

I immediately left and because I was in a hurry, because I forgot to bring the vegetables that Grandmother ordered me to bring from this village.

Ugh should I go back? Grandma might be angry because I didn't bring the vegetables for us to eat later, Yeah I should go back. I quickly returned to Pacifica's mini restaurant, I was about to open it in case I heard something.
