My friend Ainsley sent me a video. I opened it, and there was a lovey-dovey couple inside.

The guy fed the girl a strawberry with his mouth, then hugged her in a very sweet display of affection.

I found it boring and was about to close the video, but then the guy turned his head. I froze; he looked exactly like my boyfriend.

My boyfriend, Theodore, had been working as a self-media creator after graduation, a rather obscure figure in the field. He only posted selfies; I had never seen him post videos before.

I checked the video's ID, and it was indeed Theodore's. But when did he start making these lovey-dovey videos, and with someone else?

Furthermore, their behavior—feeding each other with their mouths and kissing—made me feel uncomfortable. Had he even considered my feelings?

What made me even angrier was that this video had over 200,000 views, a viewership Theodore had never reached in his self-media career. This was way beyond anything he could have imagined. He had gone viral.

So I immediately confronted him with the video, saying, "Theodore Castro, what is this video you posted? Who's that girl? Explain it to me!"

Theodore snatched my phone and looked at the video. Panic flashed in his eyes for a moment, but he quickly regained his composure. He laughed and pulled me close, saying, "Jealous, are you?"

"You better explain this!" I pushed his hands away, my face showing my displeasure.

"This girl, her name is Vanessa Randall. She just went through a breakup, and she asked me to make this video to get back at her ex. There's nothing between us, I promise. Lola, you can't accuse me like this."

Theodore explained earnestly, showing me pictures of the girl with her ex-boyfriend and even their chat history.

Hearing him honestly lay it all out, most of my doubts disappeared. I realized I had been too sensitive. If Theodore were truly interested in someone else, he wouldn't post a video of them for me to see.

However, I still felt somewhat uncomfortable. After all, this video had gone viral, with over 200,000 people seeing my boyfriend being affectionate with someone else. It wasn't easy for me to ignore that.

Seeing me still sulking, Theodore tried to explain further, "We just made the video for fun. I don't understand why people these days enjoy these overly staged videos. It's all so fake."

He emphasized the word "fake" and complained that they had no chemistry during the filming, completely different from the sweet comments from their viewers.

"If you like it, I can make these videos with you in the future," Theodore hugged me and started recording a video on his phone. He gave me a kiss and recorded it.

I've never been a fan of photos and videos, so I quickly snatched his phone and made him delete it. Theodore didn't want to let it go and argued that it looked great and he wanted to keep it as a memory.

We playfully argued for a bit and then returned to our usual sweet selves. I saw the cut-up fruit he had prepared for me on the table.

As I was preparing for the postgraduate entrance exams, I studied for two hours every night before bed. Theodore always cut up some fruit for me, so I could have something to eat when I got tired.

Theodore had always been very kind to me and could be described as a considerate and gentle boyfriend. So I didn't push the issue any further; I trusted his character.
