6. Console

She chased me for sometime and after that we both are out of breath. So we landed directly on couch, taking deep breaths. After catching out breaths, we book looked at eachother.

"You are too much Laxmi." She said and I grinned looking at her.

"Actually I'm three much, Bhabhi." I said as I showed her my tongue.

She hit me with cushion and I pouted to her.

"I'm going to prepare dinner, go and talk with your bro." She said walking towards kitchen.

"Kavi, there is a cockroache in front of you." I said and she jumped from her place screaming loudly. I laughed out loud, while clapping my hands.

"OMG Kavi, you are sacred!!!" I said as I laughed again at her. She started again chasing me by holding a knife in her hand.

Is she is serious, that would kill me.

"Kavi, are you planning to kill me??" I ask her running away from her, saving my little life from her.

"Yes, Laxmi. Because You made fun of me!!!" She shouted still running behind me.

"you must be Kidding me, Kavi. Just because I made fun of you, you can't kill me yaaar." I said as I entered garden area.

"Bro, your wife wants to kill me. Save me bro, save me from her." I said as I hide behind him, breathing heavily.

"What you did this time??" He ask frowning.

"How do you know I did, something??" I ask him.

"I know you better and my wife too!!"  He said  and I smiled awkwardly towards him.

"I made fun of her again." I said.

"Why?? Can't you keep silence??" He ask me.

"No bro, I can't, it's not in my blood and I accept it completely. And now it's your duty to save your one and only sister from your wife's warmth." I said as I saw Kavi coming still holding knife in her hand.

She literally gone crazy!!!

"Kavi!!! What happened?? Why are you running while holding a knife??" Bro ask her holding her in his arms tightly. Thanks to those army biceps I'm safe now. He ask though he already knows about the reason.

"Because of your sister, she is making fun of me. Continuously." Kavi shouted and started wiggling in bro arms.

"Come on Kavi, only for it you want to kill me, haaaa??" I ask her.

"yes!!!" She said.

Why she is so adamant to kill me today. I frowned thinking about it.

"Kavi, it's okay. She is a small girl, let her go." Bro said and Kavi stopped struggling and saw bro in complete shock.

"Who is small??" She ask him, I raised my hand.

"It's me!!!" I grinned looking at Kavi.

"For a brother his sister will be always small. Didn't you listened to it." I said as I walked to her still grinning ear to ear.

But in next second he hold my ear, and I winced in pain.

"Then I will be your Bhabhi. Let me give some sense in your brain." She said still holding my ear.

"Ouch bro, your wife is hurting me." I said and he came and made me release from Kavi grip.

"Now you both stop it." He said no, more like he ordered us. I stopped whining as I run my ear which turned red. Kavi to stopped listening to bro.

"Kavi, go and prepare dinner." He said and Kavya nodded her head while going in.

We too went in and sat in living room.

"Tell me your side of story bro." I ask him and he smiled.

Shang POV......................

I came to Himachal Pradesh, the fresh and cold air gave shivers to me. But I like it, Shivam came to pickup me. I saw him standing near his car waiting for me. I walked to him and finally he saw me.

"Hey buddy!!!" We both hugged eachother in a brotherly hug. Patting on his back I backend from hug while he too did the same.

"How come suddenly you planned to trip??" He ask once we sat in his car.

"You know about grandpa, he was nagging me for marriage, continuously." I said sighing and look out of window.

It was a beautiful place with mountains on top of it ice which are covering them. It's just breathtaking.

"You should listen to grandpa and marry someone, Shang. You are not turning young day by day you are turning old." Shivam said driving and I chuckled still looking at outside.

We soon reached his house, we went in and meet his wife Neha. Nice person with good heart, Shivam is lucky. And I know not everyone are lucky like him.

She understands him and his duty very well. We have to go back to office only on a single phone call. It may come in midnight are day. We have to be always 24/7 has to be in alert.

For us, life would be short for some one and long for someone. Our life is depends on bullets of enemies, one bullet or one wrong step, game will come to an end.

Sighing to my life and all, we had dinner while talking. Yeah, I maybe an army man, but that doesn't mean that I will always carry those angry face and not talking.

Actually I talk more and more, I like it to interact with people. And I have that ebility to sense people faking or they are genuine.

It's all come under our training of army. Wishing them good night, I walked in to the room, which they provided for me. Soon I slept due to tiredness.

Next day I woke at early and did some exercise, Shivam to joined me. Working in army, we need to keep ourselves fit and fine.

Neha said coming to her school, she said there is going to be a competition. Me and Shivam said yes, but said we will join her  afterwards. Dropping her at school we went outside for sometime and roam on streets.

After spending some time there we went to school, competition has already started. Then after sometime, they announced there will be small break.

Neha came and started talking with Shivam, I got bore. So I walked outside and to terrace, then I saw a girl talking on phone.

I know it's very bad to listen conversation but I think she doesn't know I'm here. So, she used a bit of high pitch while talking.

"I can't marry a person, who can't respect me nor my job, mom. Please understand me." She said and I just stood there not moving from there.

She started weeping and sniffing, she listened to other party may be her mother. Because she just now said mom while talking.

"At least support me in my life's support, mom. I never asked you anything, please try to understand my situation too." She said as she hung up call and started crying there only.

I just stood there looking at her back, while she is crying very bitterly. After sometime she wiped her tears as she turned to face me.

Her eyes are swollen and red due to crying, she looked surprised and shocked looking at me. She is looking cute with good facial features.

After sometime she went from there.

End of Shang POV..........

"Bro, why didn't you consoled Kavi??" I ask him, after listening to his side.

"I'm not any awara(road side Romeo), laxmi. I'm an army man." He said and I saw him in disbelief.

"I know it, but that the thing is. When a girl is crying in front of you, I don't think so only awara has to console her. Even army man can do it right." I ask him, he silently nod his head Looking here and there.

"You never consoled anyone in your life, right?" I ask him as he looked at me surprised but nod his head to me.

"So, you didn't consoled her because you don't know how to do it, right?" I ask her he hesitantly nod his head.
