9 Good and Bad News

"So what do we do?" asked Bella with tears in her eyes. "I don't want to see that bastard often."

"Actually, this is your chance for revenge," said Een.

"Revenge?"

"Yes. You charmed him. You behave like a tame dove. When he approaches, you move away. When he moves away, you move closer."

"Then?"

"I'm sure you're stronger now. So, you pay her back with attention. Once he looks like a pussycat to you you leave him."

"But what if he rapes me again because he feels I'm signaling love or something."

"Use an electric gun or pepper spray to subdue him."

"But what if he keeps attacking me? After all, a woman's strength is bound to be inferior to a man's."

"Then you should stay with a man you can trust who will definitely protect you if you are about to be harassed by that person."

"But who, mbak?"

"What about Yogi? It was your staff who once declared love to you. I'm sure, even though you rejected his love and only consider him as your younger brother, he will continue to protect you."

Bella thought for a moment. But finally she nodded her head. "Okay. Then, I'll ask Yogi to keep me company when that person comes to see me. After all, he's my assistant. It's his job to keep helping me with the mall design."

Elsewhere, Toni had just entered Gerson's CEO room. "There's good news and bad news, guys."

"What is it?" asked Gerson without taking his eyes off the laptop in front of him.

"You want to hear the good news first or the bad news?"

Hearing that, Gerson immediately left the laptop and turned his gaze towards Toni. "Okay. The bad news first."

"The bad news is, our cyber security team has given up. They were unable to deal with the might of the hackers who attacked us. Every time they closed the hole that the hacker managed to break through before, the hacker would make another hole. And so it goes on and on until our cybersecurity has given up."

"Why is that, Ton? Wasn't our cyber security team once famous hackers in this country. Didn't they?

"Yes, son. In fact, they are still considered the best hackers in the top 10 in the country. But according to them, the ones who attacked our Company's security system today, are high-end hackers from abroad who are known to be very skillful. Possibly from Russia, India or America whose level is far above them. That's why they are unable to match these hackers."

Gerson let out a long sigh. "Then that means we should contact these hackers and offer them money so they won't bother us. Right?"

"And I've already contacted them."

"What then?"

Well the good news is this. They are willing to negotiate with us."

Hearing that Gerson immediately took out his checkbook. "Okay. How much are they asking for? 200 million? 1 billion? Or how much?"

"I've asked about this but they won't name a price."

"Why is that?"

"They said they only want to negotiate the price with the top management of the company."

"Okay. Then, you meet them and negotiate with them."

"But they said they only want to meet and negotiate with the top leader, Gerson. And I'm not the supreme leader here."

"You can claim to be that supreme leader. Can't you? They won't realize it. The important thing is that we negotiate with them. Right?"

Suddenly Tony's cell phone rang. Tony immediately took out his cell phone and glanced at the screen. His face changed when he saw his cell phone.

"What's wrong?" asked Gerson.

"It's from the hacker's phone number, boss."

"Okay, pick up the phone."

When Tony picked up the phone, it was immediately switched off and after Tony looked at his WA app, his face changed again.

"What happened?" asked Gerson curiously.

"I picked up the phone earlier but he didn't speak. Then he sent me a chat and this is what shocked me."

"What did she say?"

"He said, tell your boss not to have anyone else claim to be the supreme leader because they won't want to meet a fake leader."

Gerson immediately frowned. "Why do they seem to know about our conversation here?"

"I don't know, Boss. It gives me the creeps." Tony glanced around the CEO's office.

After a moment of silence, Gerson said, "Or maybe it's their guess. Their guess is that I wouldn't want to meet with them and negotiate directly with them and would send someone else to claim to be the supreme leader. Hmmm, it seems they're starting to suspect what I'm thinking."

Toni nodded in confirmation of her boss's thoughts. "It seems so, boss."

Suddenly there was another chat on the cell phone Tony was holding. When Tony read it, he was very surprised.

"What is it again, Ton?" asked Gerson curiously.

"He chatted me up and said that what he did was supposed to give me goosebumps." Then Tony looked at Gerson. "Looks like they can hear us, boss."

"Hmmm."

"Remember, boss. I just said that I had goosebumps and I'm sure they wouldn't have thought that I would say that. Wouldn't they? They know because they must be listening to our conversation, boss. They're bugging us."

Hearing Tony's words, Gerson became very angry. "How dare they wiretap us!"
